- Dentures are made for patients who have lost their natural teeth. Dentures, also known as false teeth set, are prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth. The processes utilises artificial acrylic teeth which are available in various sizes, colour and forms commercially. Most artificial teeth are made from high quality acrylic resins, which make them stronger and more attractive. The acrylic resins are relatively wear-resistant, and teeth made from these materials are expected to have long life.
- the main object of the present invention is to fabricate a novel universal acrylic artificial teeth trimming device.
- Another object of the present invention is to fabricate a versatileteeth trimming device that can securely hold and readily adapts to the tooth contour while trimming thereby helping in stabilizing the acrylic teeth of any brand, size and form.
- Yet another object of the present invention is to fabricate a trimmer device which is devoid of problems such as difficulty in holding the teeth with small size, slippage of the teeth and damage to the fingers while trimming etc.
- Yet another object of the present invention is to develop a method of trimming acrylic artificial teeth utilizing the fabricated trimming device.
- Yet another object of the present invention is to fabricate a trimmer device that can trim allkinds of teeth including incisors, canines, premolars and molars made of acrylic.
- Further object of the present invention is to utilize the fabricated universal acrylic artificial teeth trimming device for manufacturing dentures.

- Figure - 1 Modelling wax is filled inside the wax wells up to the brim. Two wells are available for convenience and ease of use. Once modelling wax from one well loses it tackiness, the second well can be used for trimming without having to worry about replacing the modelling wax.
- Figure - 2 A securing clip is available to stabilise the tooth once it is mounted to the device for trimming.
- the securing clip is also easily replaceable in case of wear. The modelling wax and the securing clip retain the acrylic tooth while trimming.

Abstract
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de maintien de dents artificielles acryliques universelles et un procédé d'ajustage de celui-ci. Le dispositif comprend une base, une pluralité de puits, une cire de modélisation et des clips de fixation. La base comporte une pluralité de puits et les puits sont remplis de cire de modélisation jusqu'au bord afin de placer les dents à ajuster. Les clips de fixation sont montés de manière amovible sur la base pour stabiliser la dent placée dans la cire de modélisation pendant l'ajustage. L'invention est caractérisée par la cire de modélisation et les clips de fixation. La cire de modélisation s'adapte facilement à la forme du contour de la dent et contribue à stabiliser la dent pendant l'ajustage. Les clips de fixation retiennent la dent acrylique en position verrouillée pendant l'ajustage sans le problème du glissement des dents.
