Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : étape 1 : placement d'un insert d'endoscope dans un sac de stérilisation d'oxyde d'éthylène, puis la réalisation d'une stérilisation à gaz; et étape 2: la réalisation d'au moins un cycle de stérilisation par gaz aux extrémités d'entrée et de sortie de canal de travail et une extrémité d'entrée de canal d'instrument de l'endoscope. Un procédé pour stériliser un endoscope médical dans une chambre de stérilisation scellée, comprenant les étapes consistant à : placer l'endoscope dans une chambre scellée, chauffer et maintenir la température, générer un vide, maintenir une humidité constante, injecter l'oxyde d'éthylène pour la stérilisation, la ventilation et l'ouverture de la chambre. Un sac de stérilisation d'oxyde d'éthylène, comprenant : un support de tube (1) et un sac perméable aux gaz (3). Le support de tube (1) est pourvu d'un trou traversant (2) correspondant à un canal de travail de l'endoscope médical. Une partie d'ouverture du sac perméable aux gaz (3) est reliée de manière étanche au support de tube (1).
