Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de transmission d'informations, un dispositif de lecture vidéo, et un dispositif d'affichage vidéo. Le procédé de transmission d'informations consiste à : envoyer une instruction de lecture d'informations à un dispositif d'affichage vidéo ; acquérir des EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) selon une règle d'acquisition prédéfinie, et extraire des paramètres d'affichage des EDID ; déterminer si les paramètres d'affichage correspondent à des paramètres de lecture d'un dispositif de lecture vidéo ; transmettre des données vidéo correspondant aux EDID au dispositif d'affichage vidéo si les paramètres d'affichage correspondent aux paramètres de lecture ; et ré-acquérir des EDID selon la règle d'acquisition prédéfinie si les paramètres d'affichage ne correspondent pas aux paramètres de lecture, la version des EDID acquise par le dispositif de lecture vidéo étant différente. La solution technique fournie par la présente invention permet au dispositif de lecture vidéo de lire des capacités du dispositif de lecture vidéo, en rapport avec des EDID, de sorte à permettre une transmission effective de données vidéo au dispositif d'affichage vidéo.
