Abstract

The invention relates to handheld firearms and comprises a device for securing a barrel in a barrel receiver. A weapon comprises a barrel receiver with a barrel securing node in the form of a terminal connection having one or a plurality of openings in the upper portion thereof, a barrel, and a base for sighting equipment. A barrel is clamped into the barrel securing node, and the base for sighting equipment is installed directly onto the barrel via the openings in the barrel securing node. The present solution allows for removing, from the barrel receiver, a load caused when mounting sighting equipment, thus allowing for making the weapon lighter and reducing the production cost thereof. The invention is directed at improving the utilizational characteristics of a weapon and reducing production costs.
