Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Erzeugen von 3D-Daten eines Objektes, insbesondere zum Erzeugen von Unterwasserkarten. Dieses Verfahren umfasst folgende Schritte: Bereitstellen von zweidimensionalen Bilddaten der Oberfläche des Objektes, wie z.B. des Grundes eines Gewässers, zusammen mit Referenzinformationen, Bereitstellen einer dreidimensionalen Höhenkarte eines vorbestimmten Bereichs des Objektes bzw. des Grundes eines Gewässers, und Abbilden der zweidimensionalen Bilddaten als Textur auf die dreidimensionale Höhenkarte mittels der Referenzinformationen.
