Abstract

Disclosed are a porous carbonaceous structure prepared by using a porous geopolymer as a template and a method for preparing the porous carbonaceous structure. The method for preparing the porous carbonaceous structure is very simple and economical. The porous carbonaceous structure has improved Lewis acid properties and uniform nanopores. Further, in the porous carbonaceous structure, a pore size can be adjusted in a range of from micropores to mesopores. Thus, the porous carbonaceous structure can be used as a catalyst, an adsorbent, a catalytic carrier, a sensor, an electrode material of a battery, and the like.
