调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿方法及装置 技术领域
本发明涉及液晶显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿方法及装置。
背景技术
液晶显示器(Liquid Crystal Display,LCD)与有机发光二极管显示器(Organic Light Emitting Diode,OLED)等平板显示装置已经逐步取代CRT显示器,成为了当今市场的主流产品。显示面板是LCD、OLED等平板显示装置的重要组成部分。对LCD而言,其液晶显示面板的结构是一般由一彩色滤光片基板(Color Filter,CF)、一薄膜晶体管阵列基板(Thin Film Transistor Array Substrate,TFT Array Substrate)、以及一配置于两基板间的液晶层(Liquid Crystal Layer)所构成,其工作原理是通过在两片玻璃基板上施加驱动电压来控制液晶层的液晶分子的旋转,将背光模组提供的光线折射出来产生图像。
在面板品质的好坏方面,画质非常重要。所以在生成过程中,灰阶白点色温和亮度是面板厂商判定面板性能优劣的重要参考量。常见的面板由像素作为一个显示单元,每个像素又由RGB三个亚像素构成。因此需要通过调整RGB三个亚像素的亮度来调整白点色温和亮度,而RGB三个亚像素的亮度可通过调整RGB三个亚像素分别对应的Gamma(伽马)参考电压实现。如图1所示,其为现有技术中通过调整RGB伽马电压校正面板的亮度色度的流程图,依次调整亚像素G的伽马电压校正亮度Lum,调整亚像素B的伽马电压校正色度y,调整亚像素R的伽马电压校正色度x。具体包括:调整亚像素G的伽马电压,使亮度Lum到目标;调整亚像素B的伽马电压,使色度y到目标;调整亚像素R的伽马电压,使色度x到目标;判断是否满足规格,满足则结束调整,不满足则按照顺序重新再调整。
重新调整的原因是由于亚像素R和亚像素B调整色度的过程中对亮度Lum也有增减影响,同时亚像素R的调整也会对色度y有影响,因此当亚像素R调整色度x结束,亮度Lum和色度y有可能已经超出规格,需要按顺序G→B→R重新再调整一次,这样会很费时间,也有可能发生振荡,调整效率不高。
发明内容
因此,本发明的目的在于提供一种调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿方法,预先将色度对亮度可能造成的影响偏差考虑到目标亮度的设定中,避免反复循环调整。
本发明的另一目的在于提供一种调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿装置,预先将色度对亮度可能造成的影响偏差考虑到目标亮度的设定中,避免反复循环调整。
为实现上述目的,本发明提供了一种调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿方法,包括:

步骤40、判断亮度和色度是否满足规格,若满足则结束调整,若不满足则返回步骤10重新开始调整。
本发明的重点是引入预补偿的思想,由于调整亮度与色度会相互影响,本发明预先将色度对亮度可能造成的影响偏差考虑到目标亮度的设定中,避免反复循环调整。
调整伽马电压的方式可以采用线性估算迭代。具体可包括:认定作为目标量的灰阶亮度或灰阶色度的变化与伽马电压满足线性关系,按照线性计算求得目标量对应的伽马电压值;判断所求得的伽马电压值对应的目标量是否满足规格,如果不满足规格,则根据所求得的伽马电压值继续线性估算。
本发明提出简单且易实现的方法来实现对面板的亮度和色温快速调整,预补偿避免亮度调整与色度调整多次循环,通过线性估算调整伽马电压可进一步提高调整伽马电压的效率,线性特性越好,效率越高。
本发明中,第一亚像素、第二亚像素和第三亚像素为组成像素的亚像素G、亚像素B和亚像素R。作为一种具体选择,该第一亚像素为亚像素G,该第二亚像素为亚像素B,该第三亚像素为亚像素R。
根据本发明的调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿方法,本发明还相应提供了一种调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿装置,可以用于执行本发明的调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿方法,包括:依次顺序工作的第一亚像素调整模块、第二亚像素调整模块、第三亚像素调整模块及判断模块:
该第一亚像素调整模块调整第一亚像素的伽马电压以使第一亚像素灰阶亮度为LumT’;

该判断模块判断亮度和色度是否满足规格,若满足则结束调整,若不满足则由该第一亚像素调整模块重新开始调整。
参见图3,其为本发明调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿方法一较佳实施例的流程图。该较佳实施例中,以Lum、y及x分别表示亚像素G灰阶亮度、亚像素B灰阶色度及亚像素R灰阶色度;以LumT、yT及xT分别表示亚像素G目标灰阶亮度、亚像素B目标灰阶色度及亚像素R目标灰阶色度;以Lumc表示亚像素G灰阶亮度预补偿量,以yc表示亚像素B灰阶色度预补偿量;以Δy表示亚像素B的伽马电压调整对应的亚像素B灰阶色度变化量,以Δx表示亚像素R的伽马电压调整对应的亚像素R灰阶色度变化量。
如图3所示,先调整G的伽马(gamma)电压校正灰阶亮度,灰阶亮度的校正目标值LumT’是在目标亮度LumT的基础上考虑Δy、Δx在之后的调整BR中对亮度的影响作用,引入亮度预补偿量Lumc,即LumT’=LumT+Lumc,调整G的gamma电压使得灰阶亮度到LumT’;再调整B的gamma电压校正色度y,色度的校正目标值yT’是在目标yT的基础上考虑Δx在之后调整R中对色度y的影响作用,引入色度预补偿量yc,即yT’=yT+yc,调整B的gamma电压使得灰阶色度y到yT’;最后调整R的gamma电压校正色度x到目标色度xT。判断此时的亮度和色度是否满足规格,若不满足可循环迭代方式重新调整G→B→R。
灰阶亮度预补偿公式如下:

其中LumT为目标亮度,Lumc为目标亮度预补偿量,ky是色度y偏差的调整B对亮度变化系数,kx是色度x的偏差调整R对亮度变化系数。
灰阶色度y预补偿:

其中yT为目标色度,yc为目标亮度预补偿量,hx是色度x的偏差调整 R对色度变化系数。
参见图4,其为本发明调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿方法一较佳实施例中线性估算迭代调整RGB伽马电压示意图。
由于理论分析无论亮度的变化还是色度的变化规律同伽马电压满足线性关系,因此调整伽马电压可采用线性估算的方式快速调整。即使实际曲线并不完全线性,也可以通过迭代方式不断减小估算偏差,快速收敛到规格。如图4所示,是两次迭代的线性估算示意图。认定目标量(亮度和色度)的变化与伽马电压满足线性关系,以当前点和间隔dn的两点伽马电压对应的目标量可以线性计算求得目标值(Target)对应的伽马电压值;判断求得的伽马电压值对应目标量是否符合规格,如果不满足规格,则以该点为参考点继续线性估算,其中两点的间隔选取与偏差量有关联,随着迭代次数的增加,偏差逐渐减小,间隔范围逐渐减小,线性估算也越来越准确,且线性特性越高,迭代次数越少,调整的效率越高。
线性估算公式如下:

其中n为循环迭代次数,K为步长系数,Δfn为变化量与目标值偏差。
参见图5-7,其中图5为本发明调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿方法一较佳实施例中调整R色度x变化对应亮度变化曲线示意图,图6为调整B色度y变化对应亮度变化示意图,图7为调整R色度x变化对应色度y变化曲线示意图。如实际量测的实例可以看出,调整伽马电压时亮度与色度、色度y与色度x之间的变化规律基本符合线性关系,因此预补偿具有可行性,可准确预估出之后的调整对此时调整的影响偏差,将此偏差预先加入目标量的设定中,可有效避免多次反复调整,快速找到亮度与色度的目标值对应的RGB伽马电压。根据实际量测的调整RB的伽马参考电压对应的亮度及色度变化可分别求得调整R时亮度关于色度的变化系数kx,调整B时亮度关于色度y变化系数ky,调整R时色度y关于色度x的变化系数hx。也就是说,ky,kx,及hx可以预先根据图5-7确定。
在此较佳实施例中:
通过调整RGB的伽马参考电压校正面板的亮度和色度,依次调整G的伽马电压校正亮度,调整B的伽马电压校正色度y,调整R的伽马电压校 正色度x;
调整G校正亮度时,亮度校正的目标值需要经过预补偿校正,将此时的色度偏差Δx和Δy量通过RB关于色度变化与亮度的变化系数转换为亮度的预补偿量,目标亮度与亮度的预补偿量相加即为实际调整目标亮度;
调整B校正色度y时,色度y校正的目标值同样需要经过预补偿校正,将此时的色度偏差Δx量通过R关于色度y变化与色度x的变化系数转换为色度的预补偿量,目标色度y与色度y的预补偿量相加即为实际调整的色度y;
调整R时的目标色度x即为实际调整的色度x;
调整伽马电压的方式采用线性估算迭代,提高调整效率。
该较佳实施例具有如下优点:
1.引入预补偿校正机制,调整G时亮度目标值的设定加入色度偏差在后续调整中对亮度的影响量,先做预补偿,避免RB调整完色度后重新调整亮度,可避免循环多次调整,缩短调整时间,提高效率;
2.亮度的调整结果会受色度的调整影响,引入预补偿可有效避免调整过程中发生振荡,即亮度调整引起色度的偏差和色度的调整引起亮度的偏差相互抵消,调整始终无法收敛的情况;
3.引入线性估算迭代方式调整伽马电压,提高调整伽马电压的效率。
综上,本发明的调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿方法及装置引入预补偿校正机制,可避免循环多次调整,缩短调整时间,提高效率;有效避免调整过程中发生振荡,即调整始终无法收敛的情况;进一步引入线性估算迭代方式调整伽马电压,提高调整伽马电压的效率。
以上所述,对于本领域的普通技术人员来说,可以根据本发明的技术方案和技术构思作出其他各种相应的改变和变形,而所有这些改变和变形都应属于本发明后附的权利要求的保护范围。

Claims (13)

  1. 一种调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿方法,包括:
    以LumT、yT及xT分别表示第一亚像素目标灰阶亮度、第二亚像素目标灰阶色度及第三亚像素目标灰阶色度;以Lumc表示第一亚像素灰阶亮度预补偿量,以yc表示第二亚像素灰阶色度预补偿量;以Δy表示第二亚像素的伽马电压调整对应的第二亚像素灰阶色度变化量,以Δx表示第三亚像素的伽马电压调整对应的第三亚像素灰阶色度变化量;顺序执行:
    步骤10、调整第一亚像素的伽马电压以使第一亚像素灰阶亮度为LumT’;

  2. 如权利要求1所述的调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿方法,其中,调整伽马电压的方式采用线性估算迭代。
  3. 如权利要求2所述的调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿方法,包括:
    认定作为目标量的灰阶亮度或灰阶色度的变化与伽马电压满足线性关系,按照线性计算求得目标量对应的伽马电压值;
    判断所求得的伽马电压值对应的目标量是否满足规格,如果不满足规格,则根据所求得的伽马电压值继续线性估算。
  4. 如权利要求1所述的调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿方法,其中,该第一亚像素、第二亚像素和第三亚像素为组成像素的亚像素G、亚像素B和亚像素R。
  5. 如权利要求1所述的调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿方法,其中,该第一亚像素为亚像素G,该第二亚像素为亚像素B,该第三亚像素为亚像素 R。
  6. 一种调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿装置,包括:
    以LumT、yT及xT分别表示第一亚像素目标灰阶亮度、第二亚像素目标灰阶色度及第三亚像素目标灰阶色度;以Lumc表示第一亚像素灰阶亮度预补偿量,以yc表示第二亚像素灰阶色度预补偿量;以Δy表示第二亚像素的伽马电压调整对应的第二亚像素灰阶色度变化量,以Δx表示第三亚像素的伽马电压调整对应的第三亚像素灰阶色度变化量;依次顺序工作的第一亚像素调整模块、第二亚像素调整模块、第三亚像素调整模块及判断模块:
    该第一亚像素调整模块调整第一亚像素的伽马电压以使第一亚像素灰阶亮度为LumT’;

    认定作为目标量的灰阶亮度或灰阶色度的变化与伽马电压满足线性关系,按照线性计算求得目标量对应的伽马电压值;
    判断所求得的伽马电压值对应的目标量是否满足规格,如果不满足规格,则根据所求得的伽马电压值继续线性估算。
  9. 如权利要求6所述的调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿装置,其中,该第一亚像素、第二亚像素和第三亚像素为组成像素的亚像素G、亚像素B和亚像素R。
  10. 如权利要求6所述的调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿装置,其中, 该第一亚像素为亚像素G,该第二亚像素为亚像素B,该第三亚像素为亚像素R。
  11. 一种调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿装置,包括:
    以LumT、yT及xT分别表示第一亚像素目标灰阶亮度、第二亚像素目标灰阶色度及第三亚像素目标灰阶色度;以Lumc表示第一亚像素灰阶亮度预补偿量,以yc表示第二亚像素灰阶色度预补偿量;以Δy表示第二亚像素的伽马电压调整对应的第二亚像素灰阶色度变化量,以Δx表示第三亚像素的伽马电压调整对应的第三亚像素灰阶色度变化量;依次顺序工作的第一亚像素调整模块、第二亚像素调整模块、第三亚像素调整模块及判断模块:

    判断所求得的伽马电压值对应的目标量是否满足规格,如果不满足规格,则根据所求得的伽马电压值继续线性估算。
  13. 如权利要求11所述的调整面板亮度和色度的预补偿装置,其中,该第一亚像素为亚像素G,该第二亚像素为亚像素B,该第三亚像素为亚像 素R。
