Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Reisesteckeradapter, welcher hierin auch kurz als Reisesteckeradapter bezeichnet wird. Mithilfe eines solchen Adapters können Netzstecker einer bestimmten (heimischen) Norm am Reiseort in die dort vorhandenen Steckdosen eingesteckt werden. Genauer geht es um einen Reisesteckeradapter (10), welcher ein Gehäuse mit Innenwänden, Außenwänden und einer Bodenfläche aufweist und welcher ferner eine Steckeraufnahme (16) und mindestens einen ersten Stecker einer ersten Norm aufweist, welcher mindestens einen ersten Kontaktstift (34) aufweist, wobei der erste Stecker aus einer Bereitschaftsstellung, in welcher sich der Stecker im Wesentlichen innerhalb des Gehäuses befindet, durch Verschieben entlang einer ersten Strecke in eine Nutzstellung gebracht werden kann, in welcher sich der Stecker verwendbar außerhalb des Gehäuses befindet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass im Gehäuse eine Anlagefläche vorgesehen ist und der Stecker mit mindestens einem Betätigungselement (56) verbunden ist, welches bei Überführung des Steckers von der Bereitschaftsstellung in die Nutzstellung mit der Anlagefläche (70) zumindest vorübergehend in Anlage tritt und welches mit einer Übersetzungseinheit derart verbunden ist, dass durch die Übersetzungseinheit der mindestens eine Kontaktstift über eine zweite Strecke bewegt wird, welche größer ist als die erste Strecke.
