 (4)上記した各実施形態以外にも、端子検査装置の具体的な構成は適宜に変更可能である。例えば、検査用電気回路部における一対の回路端部として一対のプローブを備えるテスターを端子検査装置として用いるようにし、当該テスターによって一対の端子接触部間の導通検査や抵抗値の測定を行うことで、端子金具が正規深さに達したか否かを検査するようにしても構わない。
 (5)上記した各実施形態では、報知部が通電に伴って点灯する報知光源とされる場合を示したが、例えば報知部が通電に伴って音を発する報知音源とされてもよい。それ以外にも、報知部が通電に伴って振動する報知振動源とされてもよい。さらには、通電に伴って上記の中から複数を同時に発現する報知部を用いることも可能である。
 (6)上記した各実施形態では、検査装置本体において接続端子配置部の内部空間に接続端子が配置される場合を示したが、接続端子の大部分(例えば、端子接触部との接触箇所を除く部分)が接続端子配置部に埋設されていても構わない。
 (7)上記した各実施形態では、検査装置本体に対して着脱可能な形で着脱可能部が取り付けられる構成の端子検査装置を例示したが、着脱可能部が省略されて検査装置本体に一対の端子接触部が取り外し不能な状態で設けられる構成の端子検査装置であっても構わない。
 (8)上記した各実施形態では、説明の都合上、検査対象となる端子金具(雌端子金具または雄端子金具)のみを図示しているが、コネクタ(雌コネクタまたは雄コネクタ)に複数の端子金具が備えられる場合には、複数の端子金具の一部を検査対象とし、複数の端子金具に検査対象外となる端子金具(検査されない端子金具)が含まれていても構わない。なお、コネクタに備えられる複数の端子金具を全て検査するようにしても勿論構わない。
 (9)上記した各実施形態以外にも、端子金具(雌端子金具または雄端子金具)の端子本体(雌端子本体または雄端子本体)における被係止突部の設置側面は適宜に変更可能であり、その場合には、被係止突部の配置に応じてランスの配置についても変更される。
 (10)上記した各実施形態では、「被係止部」が、端子金具(雌端子金具または雄端子金具)の端子本体(雌端子本体または雄端子本体)から突出する被係止突部とされる場合を示したが、例えば端子金具の端子本体にランスが進入可能な開口部を形成し、その開口部のうちランスが係止される開口縁を「被係止部」とされる場合であってもよい。
