Abstract
The present invention relates to a communication method and apparatus for a dedicated short range communications (DSRC)-based user equipment (UE) in a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication environment. Specifically, the present invention comprises the steps of: detecting signals which are repeated in predetermined units within a radio resource region on a frequency band configured for available DSRC and long term evolution (LTE) V2X; and checking whether the detected signals match a physical pattern defined for the LTE V2X, so as to determine whether the frequency band is being used, wherein, when the detected signals match the physical pattern, it is determined that the frequency band is being used by the LTE V2X.
