- the design of the wheelbarrow has not changed very much over the centuries. It is made up of a deep pan or tray mounted on lightweight frame. One end of the frame has one or two wheels, while the other end has legs and a set of handles.

- the pivot mechanism holding the tray 10 in its load carrying position is released; gravity will naturally force the tray 10 to pivot toward the front of the wheelbarrow, this makes to user for easy loading of objects and dumping the load in front of the wheelbarrow and also helps to ma king the wheelbarrow adaptable to the nature of the ground or terrain on which it is to be used.

Abstract
La présente invention concerne un dispositif ou un appareil permettant d'aider au fonctionnement d'une brouette comprenant un plateau, des poignées et au moins deux roues. Le présent dispositif peut généralement comprendre un moteur, une source d'énergie, deux roues motrices et un mécanisme d'entraînement permettant d'accoupler en rotation le moteur d'entraînement à la roue motrice. La présente invention comprend également le dispositif, fixé à une brouette ou à un plateau en acier ou en aluminium, et des procédés d'assemblage et d'actionnement du dispositif et de fixation de celui-ci à une brouette ou un plateau.
