Abstract

The invention relates to a nonwoven textile product, formed by fibres that remain joined together due to the application of stitches with a needle and thread. The stitches can be applied to the fibre using a soluble binder which makes the fibres temporarily rigid once dry, forming a sheet. The rigidity is removed by dissolving the binder, and the fibres recover their flexibility and remain permanently joined by the stitches.

Description

TITULO DE LA INVENCION  TITLE OF THE INVENTION
Procedimiento para Elaborar Textiles No Tejidos Procedure for Making Nonwoven Textiles
The present invention relates to a process for the manufacture of non-woven textile sheets, based on fibers of natural, artificial or synthetic origin, useful for making high-performance textiles, for home and clothing.
Los procedimientos más cercanos a la técnica propuesta son: BACKGROUND Various processes are known for the manufacture of non-woven, high-performance textile products, based on non-spun fibers, of any nature or origin, in which the fibers are joined, wet, dry or melted, using mechanical, physical or chemical means. The procedures closest to the proposed technique are:
The wet felt is made by placing on a surface, tufts of carded sheep or camelid fiber, in two or more directions, then the fiber is moistened with soapy water, pressure is applied and rubbing is achieved that the fibers open, interlock and embed each other to form a textile sheet.
However, this process that is considered the first invention of mankind, in relation to textiles, requires that the fiber used has a high capacity to felt like that of sheep: Camelid does not have the same capacity so it must be compacted a lot or mix with other fibers such as sheep, achieving compact textile sheets, with some rigidity.
Felt with needles, use special needles with spikes that are introduced repeatedly from top to bottom, on a surface of several layers of fiber. The needles spikes collect the fibers of the first layer and introduce them to the lower layers entangling them between them, when the needle is removed, this process compresses the fiber to form the felt.
However, this process that comes from many centuries ago, achieves compact and thick products.
In the nuno felting that is a more recent invention, the fiber is placed on another textile material, which will serve as a permanent support, this textile material can be silk cloth, cotton, etc. then the fiber is compacted and joined with the support material, for this the wet felt processes are used incorporating hot soapy water, pressure and rubbing; or the processes of felt with needles, and the needles are introduced into the fiber so that it becomes entangled with the fibers of the support material. However, this process, invented in 1992 in Australia, always requires another material to support, better results are achieved with sheep fiber, camelid fiber does not have the same qualities as sheep.
The wadding is a textile material made of cotton filaments, which is mainly used as padding and thermal insulation, it is always lined constituting the filling. The cotton is carded, put on square plates, felted by kneading, the upper parts are glued, and dried, placed with stitches inside another textile material, used to pad clothes and make them hotter.
However, in this old quilting process, the cotton filaments are not exposed, it always goes as filler. In order to achieve a totally differentiated option, for the manufacture of nonwoven textiles with fibers, that allow the design and creation of articles and garments that meet new needs or fashions, with simple procedures, that do not involve expensive industrial processes, it has been devised the present process object of the invention.
Todo lo obtenido se ha realizado considerando los pasos del método científico como son: Observación del medio, de las oportunidades y debilidades del mismo; hipótesis de como inventar la maquinaria para obtener los mejores y con más bajos costos productos; experimentación en función al uso de múltiples pruebas de diferentes laminas textiles para obtener finalmente los resultados satisfactorios Everything obtained has been done considering the steps of the scientific method such as: Observation of the environment, its opportunities and weaknesses; hypothesis of how to invent the machinery to obtain the best and lowest cost products; experimentation based on the use of multiple tests of different textile sheets to finally obtain satisfactory results
