Abstract

The invention relates to handheld firearms and comprises a device for securing a barrel in a barrel receiver. The known methods for securing a barrel in a barrel receiver via a coupling nut do not allow for installing a sighting device directly on the breech end of a barrel, as a result of which, when removing and re-attaching a barrel, it is possible to change the midpoint of shot impact. In the described invention, the present problem is solved in that the proposed structure for connecting a barrel to a barrel receiver allows for installing sighting devices directly on the breech end of a barrel, allowing for detaching the barrel from the firearm without altering the relative position of the barrel and the sight, thus allowing for improving the utilizational characteristics of the firearm.
