Considering dramatically changed scenario in the field of emergent semiconductor technology, surface mount technology and high speed integrated circuits, which has created huge impact on all dimensions of the technology. This also have optimized parameters, so called traits of the system, in terms of operating voltage and current ratings. Proven impact of such technological advancement is like now a day's recent devices works on 1.8 V and 0.9 V technology.
Such proven CMOS technology and astounding integration technology has created the unbelievable now where processors are working at GHz frequency ranges. This satisfies the need of the present and future by strongly creating impact by creating smallest and fastest executing smart devices. In such hairtrigger, signs of progressions is also seen on data handling devices.
Such data handling devices were having parallel interface. Technological advancement and need of data carrying, user friendly, has invented USB flash memories. Impact of technology, on flash drives, is cyclopean and this impact brought us to a size of a dime, so that they can be easily misplaced or lost. Hence a need for detection is arises for such small devices. US 7416424 Bl discuss technique for keeping pen drive cap intact with the device so that it will not be misplaced. The invention is a flash drive cap attachment system comprising a cap strip connected to a flexible cord, Which is also connected to a body strip. The attachment system attaches to both the body and cap of a USB ?ash drive. The main feature of this invention is to eliminate the loss of the removable cap.
