Description

搭載角度学習装置 関連出願の相互参照
 本国際出願は、2016年3月23日に日本国特許庁に出願された日本国特許出願番号第2016-058965号に基づくものであって、その優先権の利益を主張するものであり、日本国特許出願番号第2016-058965号のすべての内容を参照により本国際出願に援用する。
 本開示は、車載レーダの搭載角度を学習する装置に関する。
 車載レーダの設置状態が、何等かの原因(例えばボルトの緩み)で所定の搭載角度からずれが生じている場合、物体の方位を誤検出するおそれがある。そこで、下記特許文献1に記載の車載レーダ装置のように、車載レーダ装置の観測データを用いて、車載レーダ装置の搭載角度を推定する技術がある。ただし、観測データには誤差が含まれるため、その誤差を含んだ観測データから推定される搭載角度に対応する値(以下、瞬時値という)も、誤差を含んだ値となる。そのため、上記車載レーダ装置では、瞬時値の集合を刈り込み平均して平均値を算出し、算出した平均値から搭載角度を求めている。

 搭載角度を求める手法として、搭載角度の瞬時値を、例えば移動平均を用いて平滑化することで学習し、学習値を搭載角度とする手法も考えられる。しかしながら、発明者の詳細な検討の結果、この種の学習装置では、学習速度を上げると学習精度が低下して収束後の学習値が振動し、学習精度を上げると収束するまでの時間が長くなるという問題が見出された。
 本開示の1つの局面では、収束までの時間の短縮と学習精度の向上とを両立させることが可能な搭載角度学習装置を提供する。
 
 本開示の1つの局面は、電磁波を用いて物体が存在する方位を検出する車載レーダの車両における向きを表す搭載角度を学習する搭載角度学習装置であって、推定値算出部と、学習部とを備える。推定値算出部は、車載レーダの送受信波を用いて、搭載角度の推定値を繰り返し算出する。学習部は、早急学習部と、高精度学習部と、学習選択部と、を備え、搭載角度の学習時点における学習値を、学習時点までに算出された複数の推定値を平滑化して算出した値に更新する。早急学習部は、更新された学習値に対する学習時点の推定値の寄与度合を第1度合とする。高精度学習部は、寄与度合を第1度合よりも低い第2度合とする。学習選択部は、学習時点における学習の開始までに学習値が更新された回数である学習回数が、回数閾値よりも少ない場合には、早急学習部による学習の実行を選択し、学習回数が前記回数閾値よりも多い場合には、高精度学習部による学習の実行を選択する。
 本開示によれば、学習値と真値との誤差が大きい学習初期には、早急学習が実行されるため、推定値が学習値に反映され易くなって、早急に学習値が真値に近づけられる。一方、学習が進み学習値が真値に近づいた後は、高精度学習が実行されるため、推定値が学習値に反映されにくくなって、推定値のばらつきによる学習値の振動が抑制され、安定した学習値が算出される。よって、収束までの時間の短縮と学習精度の向上とを両立させることができる。
 なお、特許請求の範囲に記載した括弧内の符号は、一つの態様として後述する実施形態に記載の具体的手段との対応関係を示すものであって、本開示の技術的範囲を限定するものではない。

 以下、図面を参照しながら、発明を実施するための形態を説明する。
 <構成>
 まず、本実施形態に係る搭載角度学習装置を含むレーダ装置の構成について、図1を参照して説明する。本実施形態に係るレーダ装置は、ミリ波レーダ100と、処理装置30と、を備える。本実施形態では、処理装置30が搭載角度学習装置に相当し、ミリ波レーダ100が車載レーダに相当する。
 ミリ波レーダ100は、送受信部15と、送信アンテナ部10と、受信アンテナ部20とを備え、車両のバンパ内に設置されている。バンパは、電磁波を透過する材料で構成されている。ここでは、図3に示すように、ミリ波レーダ100は、車両の後ろ側に設置されたバンパの両端のうち、車両の進行方向に向かって右端付近に設置され、かつ、車両の側方を探査範囲に含むような向きに設置されている。車両の側方は、車両の前後方向に対して90°の方向のことである。本実施形態では、ミリ波レーダ100は、多周波CWレーダとして動作する。なお、CWは、Continuous Waveの略である。
 送受信部15は、処理装置30からの周波数制御信号Cfに従って送信信号を生成し、生成した送信信号を送信アンテナ部10へ供給する。周波数制御信号Cfは、一定期間、所定の周波数のレーダ波であって、CWからなるレーダ波を送信するように生成された信号である。送信アンテナ部10は、水平方向に一列に配置されたK個のアンテナを含み、送信信号に従ってレーダ波を放射する。Kは2以上の整数である。
 受信アンテナ部20は、水平方向に一列に配置されたL個のアンテナを含み、アンテナ毎に、物標で反射されたレーダ波を受信して受信信号を送受信部15へ供給する。Lは2以上の整数である。送受信部15は、受信信号と送信信号とから、両信号の差の周波数成分を有するビート信号を生成する。そして、送受信部15は、生成したビート信号をサンプリングして、サンプリングデータDbに変換し、送信周波数毎かつアンテナ毎に、サンプリングデータDbを処理装置30に供給する。
 処理装置30は、CPU、ROM、RAM、及びI/O等を備える周知のマイクロコンピュータを中心に構成されているとともに、送受信部15から取り込んだサンプリングデータDbについて、FFT処理等の信号処理を実行する演算処理装置を備えている。処理装置30の各機能は、CPUが非遷移的実体的記録媒体に格納されたプログラムを実行することにより実現される。この例では、ROMが、プログラムを格納した非遷移的実体的記録媒体に該当する。このプログラムの実行により、プログラムに対応する方法が実行される。また、RAMの一部は、処理装置30の電源をオフにしてもメモリの内容が保持される不揮発性メモリで構成されており、この不揮発性メモリには、測定サイクル毎に推定されるミリ波レーダ100の搭載角度の推定値θest、及び学習値θsmが記憶される。なお、設定されている複数の異なる周波数のすべてについて、レーダ波の送受信を行うことを1測定サイクルとする。また、FFTは、Fast Fourier Transform すなわち高速フーリエ変換の略である。
 処理装置30は、CPUがプログラムを実行することで、搭載角度の推定処理と、推定された搭載角度を学習する学習処理と、を実行する。処理装置30がこれらの処理を実行する手法は、ソフトウェアに限るものではなく、その一部又は全部の処理を、論理回路やアナログ回路等を組み合わせたハードウェアを用いて実行してもよい。
 <搭載角度推定>
 [1.推定処理]
 次に、処理装置30が実行する搭載角度の推定処理について、図2のフローチャートを参照して説明する。本処理は、測定サイクル毎に起動し、ミリ波レーダ100の搭載角度を推定する処理である。詳細な推定原理については後述するが、本処理では、車両の側方における停止物の相対速度と、停止物が存在する方位との間に対応関係があることを利用して、搭載角度を検出する。ここでの搭載角度は、ミリ波レーダ100の光軸から車両の後ろ方向までの角度とする。ミリ波レーダ100の光軸は、ミリ波レーダ100の検知範囲の中心を通る軸である。
 まず、S10(Sはステップを表す)では、車両のネットワークを介して自車速を取得し、取得した自車速が予め設定されている速度閾値よりも大きいか否かを判定する。詳細は後述するが、速度閾値は、精度のよい搭載角度の推定が期待できる速度に設定されている。S10で肯定判定の場合は、S20へ進む。また、S10で否定判定の場合は、本処理を終了する。
 続いて、S20では、多周波CWのすべての送信周波数におけるビート信号のサンプリングデータDbを、受信アンテナ部20を構成するアンテナ毎に取得する。
 続いて、S30では、サンプリングデータDbを周波数解析することにより、多周波CWの送信周波数毎かつ受信アンテナ部20を構成するアンテナ毎に周波数スペクトルを算出する。ここでは、周波数解析としてFFTを用いる。これにより得られる周波数スペクトルの周波数ビンは、レーダ波を反射した物体と自車両との相対速度を表す。
 続いて、S40では、S30で算出した送信周波数毎かつアンテナ毎の周波数スペクトルについて、アンテナ毎に、各送信周波数の周波数スペクトルを平均して平均周波数スペクトルを算出する。
 続いて、S50では、平均周波数スペクトルから、スペクトル電力が予め設定された閾値以上となるピーク値が検出される周波数ビンを抽出し、その周波数ビン毎に、反射波の到来方向、すなわちレーダ波を反射した物体が存在する方位を推定する。推定方位の算出は、MUSIC,Capon等の高分解能な推定アルゴリズムを用いることが望ましいが、DBF等の演算負荷が小さいアルゴリズムを用いてもよい。なお、MUSICは、Multiple Signal Classification、DBFは、Digital Beam Formingの略である。
 続いて、S60において、S40で算出された平均周波数スペクトル、及びS50で推定された推定方位を用いて、自車両と物体との相対速度及び推定方位からなる二次元の観測データの分布Pを作成する。
 続いて、S70では、相対速度の絶対値が予め設定された上限値以内となる観測データに基づいて、式(1)を用いて、停止物について検出される相対速度yと方位角xとの関係を表す近似直線Zを算出する。ただし、θinstを工場で設定されたミリ波レーダ100の搭載角度の初期値、Aを定数、N_binをFFTポイント数、例えば256とする。なお、N_bin/2が、物体との相対速度のゼロに相当するように設定されている。

 続いて、S80では、近似直線Zの算出に用いた観測データの分布Pの最小二乗和Wを算出する。この最小二乗和Wは、観測データのばらつき度合を表し、ばらつきが大きいほど大きな値となる。そして、S80では、算出した最小二乗和Wが、予め設定された近似閾値よりも小さいか否かを判定する。最小二乗和Wが、近似閾値よりも小さければ、レーダ波を反射した物体は停止物であると判定する。この場合、S80で肯定判定し、ステップ90に進む。一方、最小二乗和Wが近似閾値以上であれば、レーダ波を反射した物体は移動物であると判定する。この場合、S80で否定判定し、本処理を終了する。
 続いて、S90では、図3に示すように、近似直線Z上で相対速度が0となる方位角である検出方位角θvを算出する。そして、搭載角度θinstでミリ波レーダ100を取り付けた場合に、相対速度が0となる観測データが検出される方位角、すなわち車両の前後方向に対して90°の方向を理論方位角θoとして、理論方位角θoから検出方位角θvを減算することで、誤差Δθを算出する。誤差Δθは、搭載角度θinstと実際の搭載角度との差である。さらに、θest=θinst-Δθとして、搭載角度の推定値θestを算出する。以上で本処理を終了する。本実施形態では、S10~S90までの処理が、推定値算出部の機能が実行する処理に相当する。
 [2.推定原理]
 次に、本実施形態における搭載角度の推定原理について詳細を説明する。車両の側方に壁面などの停止物が存在する場合、壁面のさまざまな箇所から反射波が得られる。そして、壁面の反射点が存在する方位と、その反射点について検出される相対速度とは、図4に示す関係を有する。すなわち、ミリ波レーダ100が取り付けられた位置の真横に反射点がある場合、その反射点の相対速度は0となる。真横とは、車両の進行方向に対して90°の壁面方位である。図3に示すように、この真横の反射点よりも車両の進行方向側に位置する反射点の相対速度は、自車両に接近してくることを表す正の値となる。また、真横の反射点よりも車両の進行方向とは反対側に位置する反射点の相対速度は、自車両から離れていくことを表す負の値となる。いずれの場合も、その絶対値は、真横の位置から離れるほど大きな値となる。図4に示すグラフは、自車後方に対して線対称な形状となる。
 ここで、ミリ波レーダ100の探索範囲を0~180[deg]とする。さらに、探査範囲の90[deg]の方向、すなわち、ミリ波レーダ100の光軸の方向に対し、車両の後方向が、車両の上方から見て右回りにθinst[deg]傾くように、ミリ波レーダ100が車両に取り付けられているものとする。ただし、方位角xは、左回りを正、右回りを負で表すものとする。この場合、θinstは負の値となり、車両の壁面方位の方位角xはθo=180+θinst[deg]となる。図4のグラフは、初期の搭載角度θinst=-40[deg]である場合を示す。つまり、壁面方位の方位角xはθo=140[deg]であり、自車後方の方位角xは50[deg]である。この状態を、工場出荷時の設定状態とする。
 工場において、ミリ波レーダ100が設定どおりの搭載角度で搭載されていない場合や、工場出荷後に搭載角度が変化した場合、搭載角度θinstと実際の搭載角度とに誤差が生じる。車両の上方から見て左回りにΔθ[deg]の誤差が生じているとする。この場合、Δθは正の値となり、車両の壁面方位の方位角xはθv=180+θinst-Δθ=θo-Δθ、搭載角度の推定値θestは、θest=θinst-Δθとなる。すなわち、Δθを求めることで推定値θestを算出できる。
 図4に、工場出荷時の設定状態を前提として求めた、高速時における理論曲線を図中実線で示し、低速時における理論曲線を図中一点鎖線で示す。また、実線の理論曲線について、式(1)を用いて求めた近似直線Zを破線で示す。
 図示されているように、理論曲線は自車速Vselfが遅いほど、方向に対する相対速度である周波数ビンの変化が小さく、自車速Vselfが速いほど、方向に対する相対速度である周波数ビンの変化が大きくなる。なお、相対速度を表す周波数ビンは、0~N_bin[bin]で表され、0~N_bin[bin]の中心のN_bin/2[bin]を、相対速度ゼロとしている。この場合、N_bin/2~N_bin[bin]は、停止物が自車両に接近してくるように観測される物標接近領域、0~N_bin/2[bin]は、停止物が自車両から離れていくように観測される物標離脱領域となる。
 図5に、高速時の理論曲線に対する理論近似直線を破線で示し、実データの分布Pから求めた近似直線Zを実線で示す。理論近似直線と近似直線Zとの方位軸方向であるx軸方向における差から、誤差Δθが求められる。ひいては、近似直線Zから、今回の測定サイクルにおける推定値θestを算出できる。
 ただし、図4に示すように、低速時では、分布Pを表す曲線の傾きが小さくなり、分布Pの直線への近似度が低下する。よって、低速時には、近似直線Zから推定値θestを推定すると推定精度が低下するので、低速時には推定値θestの算出は行わない。上述した速度閾値は、分布Pの直線への近似度が十分に高くなる速度に設定されている。
 <搭載角度の学習>
 [1.学習処理]
 次に、搭載角度の学習処理について、図6のフローチャートを参照して詳細を説明する。本処理は、搭載角度の推定値θestが算出された都度起動し、学習値θsmを、学習時点までに算出された複数の推定値θestを平滑化した値に、更新する処理である。
 まず、S200では、学習回数NsmがJ回未満か否か判定する。Jは2以上の任意の整数である。ここでは、学習値θsmを更新する毎に、学習は1回終了するとする。学習の初期の段階では、学習値θsmを搭載角度の真値に早急に近づけるために、学習速度の速い早急な学習を実行することが望ましい。一方、学習が進んだ段階では、学習値を安定させるために、高精度な学習を実行することが望ましい。そこで、学習回数NsmがJ回未満の場合は、S200で肯定判定して、S210の早急学習に進む。
 一方、学習回数NsmがJ回以上の場合は、S200で否定判定して、S220の高精度学習に進む。すなわち、J回の学習が終了し、J+1回目の学習を開始する際に、学習態様を早急学習から高精度学習へ切り替える。Jの値は、例えば、シミュレーションにより、学習値θsmを十分に収束させることができる学習回数Nsmを求め、その学習回数Nsmに設定されている。本実施形態では、S200の処理が、学習選択部の機能が実行する処理に相当する。
 S210では、早急学習を行って、I測定サイクル毎に学習値θsmを更新する。一方、S220では、高精度学習を行って、I測定サイクル毎に学習値θsmを更新する。Iは、1以上の整数であり、早急学習では、高精度学習よりも小さい値に設定されている。早急学習におけるIの値は、例えば、推定値θestに含まれる誤差をある程度滑らかにすることができる値に設定されている。高精度学習におけるIの値は、例えば、学習値θsmが必要な頻度に応じて設定されている。
 具体的には、図7に示すように、早急学習及び高精度学習は2段階の平均を行う。下位の平均すなわち1段階目の平均では、今回の学習時点を含む直近のI測定サイクルで推定されたI個の推定値θestを平均する。図7において、下位の平均を示す各四角内の値は、各測定サイクルで算出された推定値θestである。算出された下位平均値は、シフトレジスタに記憶される。シフトレジスタは、1個のデータが格納されると1個のデータを排出してJ個分だけのデータを蓄積するメモリである。上位の平均すなわち2段階目の平均では、I測定サイクル毎に、シフトレジスタに蓄積されているJ個の下位平均値を平均する。シフトレジスタに蓄積される値は順次更新されるため、上位の平均は、下位平均値の移動平均を求めていることになる。そして算出された移動平均値が、今回の学習時点における学習値θsmとなる。
 前回の学習値θsmの更新時点からI-1測定サイクル目までは、前回の更新時点における学習値θsmをそのまま維持して、その測定サイクルにおける学習値θsmとする。よって、上位の移動平均の実行回数が学習回数Nsmとなり、I測定サイクル毎の時点が学習時点となる。Jは、S200の判定値のJと同じ値であり、早急学習でも高精度学習でも同じ個数の平均値を移動平均する。
 このように、学習値θsmは、I測定サイクル毎に、I×J個分の推定値θestの平均値に更新される。よって、更新された学習値θsmに対する学習時点で算出された推定値θestの寄与度合は、1/(I×J)となる。それゆえ、早急学習における上記寄与度合である度合W1は、高精度学習における度合W2よりも高くなる。したがって、早急学習では、推定値θestが学習値θsmに反映され易くなり、学習速度が高くなる。一方、高精度学習では、推定値θestが学習値θsmに反映されにくくなるため、推定値θestに含まれる誤差分による学習値θsmの振動が抑制される。
 なお、本実施形態では、I測定サイクルが平均期間に相当する。また、本実施形態では、S210の処理が、早急学習部の機能が実行する処理に相当し、S220の処理が、高精度学習部の機能が実行する処理に相当する。
 続いて、S230では、今測定サイクルの直近過去の一定期間Tcにおける推定値θestの平均値θavと、S210又はS220で算出した学習値θsmとの差の絶対値が、角度閾値θthよりも小さいか否かを判定する。
 車両の軽い衝突や、ミリ波レーダ100の取付ボルトの緩みなどが原因で、搭載角度が急変する場合がある。また、ミリ波レーダ100の取付位置は変化していなくても、車両のバンパへの雪や、氷、汚れ等の付着により、ミリ波レーダ100の光軸が曲がり、実質的に搭載角度が急変することがある。よって、平均値θavと、現測定サイクルで算出した学習値θsmとを比較することで、前測定サイクルの終了から現測定サイクルの開始までの間に、搭載角度の急変が発生していないか否かを判定する。
 一定期間Tcは、過度に長い期間とすると、急変が発生した後も、θavに対して急変前の推定値θestの影響継続する期間が長くなり、急変の判定が遅くなるおそれがある。一方、一定期間Tcを過度に短い期間とすると、外乱の混入時に、急変を誤判定してしまうおそれがある。よって、一定期間Tcは、θavに対する外乱の影響を抑制しつつ、急変前の推定値θestの影響継続を抑制できる期間とする。例えば、一定期間Tcは、早急学習における推定値θestの平均期間から、高精度学習における推定値θestの平均期間までの範囲とする。本実施形態では、一定期間Tcが判定期間に相当し、S230の処理が、急変判定部の機能が実行する処理に相当する。
 搭載角度が急変した場合には、学習値θsmを早急に急変後の真値に収束させることが望ましい。よって、(θav-θsm)の絶対値が角度閾値θth以上の場合には、S260に進み、学習回数Nsmをゼロにリセットして、本処理を終了する。これにより、次の測定サイクルの処理では、早急学習が実行される。一方、上記絶対値が角度閾値θth未満の場合には、S240に進み、現測定サイクルの処理で学習値θsmを更新したか否か判定する。S240において肯定判定の場合は、S250において学習回数Nsmを1回分増やして、本処理を終了する。S240において否定判定の場合は、そのまま本処理を終了する。本実施形態では、S260の処理が、リセット部の機能が実行する処理に相当する。
 [2.学習動作]
 図8に、工場出荷時の搭載角度θinst=50[deg]、上位の移動平均個数J=4、早急学習時における下位の平均測定サイクル数I=2、高精度学習時における下位の平均測定サイクル数I=10、一定期間Tc=5測定サイクル、角度閾値=5[deg]とした場合における、搭載角度の推定値θest及び学習値θsmの遷移を示す。また、図9に、図8のA~Hの時点において、移動平均の対象である4個の下位平均値を示す。
 学習開始時点である時点Aでは、早急学習が実行され、下位の平均対象となる推定値θest、及び上位の移動平均の対象となる4個の下位平均値を、すべて搭載角度θinstとして、1回目の移動平均が実行される。学習開始時点を1回目の測定サイクルとすると、3回目の測定サイクルであるB時点では、引き続き早急学習が実行され、1回目と2回目の測定サイクルにおける推定値θestの平均値と、3個の初期値とを移動平均した値に、学習値θsmが更新されている。9回目の測定サイクルであるC時点では、4回の学習が終了しているので、学習態様が早期学習から高精度学習に切り替わる。よって、時点Cでは、時点Cを含む10測定サイクル分の推定値θestを平均した平均値と、それ以前の3個分の下位平均値とを移動平均した値に、学習値θsmが更新される。なお、時点Cでは推定値θestが10測定サイクル分ないので、足りない分は初期値である搭載角度θinstを用いる。次の時点Dでも、高精度学習が続けられ、10測定サイクル毎に学習値θsmが更新される。
 次の時点Eでも高精度学習が続けられる。しかしながら、時点Eで学習値θsmを更新した後、2測定サイクル目で搭載角度の急変が発生している。そして、時点Eから7測定サイクル目で、平均値θavと学習値θsmとの差の絶対値が角度閾値θth以上となり、時点Eから8測定サイクル目の時点Fにおいて、学習態様が高精度学習から早急学習に移行している。急変が発生した時点から時点Fまでは、早急学習移行判断期間となっている。そして、次の時点Gにおいても、早急学習が継続された後、時点Hにおいて、再び学習態様が早急学習から高精度学習へ移行している。
 <効果>
 以上詳述した第1実施形態によれば、以下の効果が得られる。
 (1)学習初期には、早急学習が実行されて、推定値θestが学習値θsmに反映され易くなるため、学習値θsmを真値に早急に近づけることができる。一方、学習が進み学習値θsmが真値に近づいた後は、推定値θestが学習値θsmに反映されにくくなるため、推定値θestに含まれる誤差分による学習値θsmの振動を抑制できる。よって、収束までの時間の短縮と学習精度の向上とを両立させることができる。
 (2)ミリ波レーダ100の搭載角度が急変した場合には、搭載角度が急変したことが判定され、次の測定サイクルの処理から早急学習が実行されるため、学習値θsmを早急に真値に収束させることができる。
 (3)搭載角度の学習処理において、2段階の平均を実行することにより、1段階目の平均の平均期間が短い早急学習でも、推定値θestに含まれる誤差の学習値への影響を抑制することができる。すなわち、早急学習では、学習速度を向上させることができるとともに、学習値θsmの振動を抑制して真値に近づけることができる。また、高精度学習では、より学習精度を向上させることができる。
 (4)推定値θestを平均するサイクル数Jと、S200における判定値Jとを等しい値とすることにより、初期値である搭載角度θinstの学習値θsmへの影響が十分に低くなった時点で、学習態様を早急学習から高精度学習へ切り替えることができる。
 (5)工場出荷時に設定されている搭載角度θinstが搭載角度の真値からずれている場合でも、搭載角度を学習することによって、物体の方位の誤検出を抑制することができる。
 (他の実施形態)
 以上、本発明を実施するための形態について説明したが、本発明は上述の実施形態に限定されることなく、種々変形して実施することができる。
 (a)搭載角度の推定値θestの算出手法は、上記実施形態の手法に限らずどのような手法でもよい。例えば、車両の直進中において停止物の軌跡を算出し、停止物の軌跡の傾きから推定値θestを算出してもよい。
 (b)上記実施形態では、推定値θestを平均するサイクル数Jと、S200における判定値Jとを等しい値としたが、異なる値としてもよい。
 (c)早急学習と高精度学習とに関して、学習値θsmに対する推定値θestの度合W1が度合W2よりも大きくなる学習手法であれば、どのような学習手法で学習してもよい。例えば、上位の移動平均を実行しないで、下位の平均だけにしてもよい。また、早急学習と高精度学習とで下位の平均サイクル数Iを等しくし、上位の移動平均において平均する平均値の個数Jを、早急学習では高精度学習よりも少なくするようにしてもよい。また、早急学習では高精度学習よりも、下位の平均サイクル数I及び上位の移動平均する個数Jを少なくしてもよい。
 (d)学習開始時の搭載角度の初期値は、工場出荷時の設定値でなくてもよい。
 (e)ミリ波レーダ100は、多周波CWレーダに限らず、FMCWレーダ等の他の方式のレーダでもよい。
 (f)上記実施形態における1つの構成要素が有する複数の機能を、複数の構成要素によって実現したり、1つの構成要素が有する1つの機能を、複数の構成要素によって実現したりしてもよい。また、複数の構成要素が有する複数の機能を、1つの構成要素によって実現したり、複数の構成要素によって実現される1つの機能を、1つの構成要素によって実現したりしてもよい。また、上記実施形態の構成の一部を省略してもよい。また、上記実施形態の構成の少なくとも一部を、他の上記実施形態の構成に対して付加又は置換してもよい。なお、特許請求の範囲に記載した文言のみによって特定される技術思想に含まれるあらゆる態様が本開示の実施形態である。
 (g)上述した搭載角度学習装置の他、当該搭載角度学習装置を構成要素とするシステム、当該搭載角度学習装置としてコンピュータを機能させるためのプログラム、このプログラムを記録した半導体メモリ等の非遷移的実態的記録媒体、搭載角度学習方法など、種々の形態で本開示を実現することもできる。

Claims (5)

  1.  電磁波を用いて物体が存在する方位を検出する車載レーダ(100)の車両における向きを表す搭載角度を学習する搭載角度学習装置(30)であって、
     前記車載レーダの送受信波を用いて、前記搭載角度の推定値を繰り返し算出するように構成された推定値算出部(S10~S90)と、
     前記搭載角度の学習を行う学習時点において、前記搭載角度の学習値を、前記学習時点までに算出された複数の前記推定値を平滑化して算出した値に更新するように構成された学習部(S200~S260)と、を備え、
     前記学習部は、
     更新された前記学習値に対する前記学習時点で算出された前記推定値の寄与度合を第1度合とするように構成された早急学習部(S210)と、
     前記寄与度合を前記第1度合よりも低い第2度合とするように構成された高精度学習部(S220)と、
     前記学習時点における前記学習の開始までに前記学習値が更新された回数である学習回数が、回数閾値よりも少ない場合には、前記学習時点において前記早急学習部による学習の実行を選択し、前記学習回数が前記回数閾値よりも多い場合には、前記学習時点において前記高精度学習部による学習の実行を選択する、ように構成された学習選択部(S200)と、を備える、搭載角度学習装置。
  2.  前記学習部は、
     前記学習時点以前の予め設定された判定期間における前記推定値の平均値と、前記学習時点における前記学習値とが、角度閾値を超えて乖離した場合に、前記搭載角度が急変したと判定するように構成された急変判定部(S230)と、
     前記急変判定部により急変したと判定された場合に、前記学習回数をゼロにリセットするように構成されたリセット部(S260)と、を備える、請求項1に記載の搭載角度学習装置。
  3.  前記学習部は、予め設定された平均期間毎に、前記学習時点の直近の前記平均期間における前記推定値を平均して平均値を算出するとともに、前記平均期間における前記平均値を移動平均した値に、前記学習値を更新するように構成されており、
     前記早急学習部は、前記平均期間を第1期間とするように構成されており、
     前記高精度学習部は、前記平均期間を前記第1期間よりも長く設定された第2期間とするように構成されている、請求項1又は2に記載の搭載角度学習装置。
  4.  前記早急学習部は、前記学習の開始時において、前記移動平均の対象となる前記平均値を、同じ値の初期値とするように構成されており、
     前記回数閾値は、前記移動平均の対象となる前記平均値の個数と等しい値である、請求項3に記載の搭載角度学習装置。
  5.  前記早急学習部は、前記学習の開始時点において、前記移動平均の対象となる前記平均値の初期値を、出荷時に設定されている搭載角度とするように構成されている、請求項4に記載の搭載角度学習装置。
