Definitions

  • the present invention relates to protection devices, more specifically devices for the protection of members of the human body, precisely a device for protecting forearms against dirt or other substances that are of interest to avoid contact.
  • the present innovation is proposed, providing a light plastic sleeve, which can be anchored in the thumb and kept rolled up close to the wrist, and can be extended to the elbow in case of need to avoid contact or preventatively.
  • Document MU 8102068-6 shows a T-shirt with sleeves im- permeable in flexible plastic material, allowing flexibility and strength, manufactured in a heat-sealed form, a handle comprising the inner side with radius arrangement to anatomically accommodate the forearm, joining the part covering the thorax with an extension. It does not address the accommodation in the hand nor the possibility of curling up in the fist.
  • the document PI 0206214-3 shows a protector for the guitarist's right forearm against the upper rim of the guitar, the pressure distributor comprising a part that conforms to the arm and distributes the pressure exerted on the guitar of the instrument.

It does not anticipate the accommodation in the hand nor the possibility of curling in the fist.
  • Document MU 8702185-4 shows a piece for protection of the arm and forearm with chest extension for workers in cane fields, approximately tubular in shape, forming a hose for protection of the arm and forearm. It does not anticipate the accommodation in the hand nor the possibility of curling in the fist.

  • Figure 2 shows the use associated with a glove (4), which allows better attachment to the user's wrist.
  • Figure 3 clarifies the full use of the sleeve (5), in an extended position to the elbow region of the wearer.
  • the present invention relates to a disposable sleeve (5) of preferably plastic material, in an essentially cylindrical or frusto-conical shape, provided with an elastic handle (2) for attachment to the user's wrist and a handle (1) for anchoring on the user's thumb.
  • the device is allocated coiled, as seen in Figure 1, so as to accommodate close to the pulse, giving freedom to the user's movements. When necessary, it can be unwound on the forearm, as shown in Figure 3, extending even after the elbow, resting on the bare forearm or on any clothing that the wearer is using.
  • the device being formed by a thin plastic film, which allows good mobility, provides a complementary physical barrier against dirt and contaminants that may come from the work carried out by the user, in use associated with gloves that overlap the elastic handle (2) of the sleeve (5) object of this innovation, as can be seen in Figures 2 and 3.
  • the purpose is therefore to provide an extension of the margin of protection to the forearms during work under conditions where gloves are usually worn and which pose a risk of contamination or contamination of the forearm, a very common situation in hospitals and ambulatory care , where secretions or blood are in abundance and sometimes come in contact with the skin or the sleeves of the wearer's clothing, or in domestic environments subject to similar exposure.
