Abstract

Clinical and / or complementary diagnostic examinations of several patients over the course of a day in a hospital setting are very common and it is not possible to determine in advance which clinical and / or complementary examinations of diagnosis that will be carried out throughout the day, as its determination depends on the patient and their needs.

The need to place and remove equipment from the side table, or to move the table to a side table that has the necessary medical and / or veterinary equipment to perform a given examination, is a necessity that translates into unnecessary time consuming and which in some situations may be important for the patient waiting for the exam.

Detailed Description

The present disclosure relates to a table that can be used while performing clinical examinations that need to be performed while the patient is lying down. In particular, the disclosure relates to a table comprising a plurality of compartments / drawers for storing equipment, articles and accessories within said compartments / drawers.

Figure 1 represents the now disclosed table, where 1 represents a padding, 2 represents an upper frame, 3 represents a support frame, 4 represents a paper roll holder, 5 and 6 represent the support hardware of the backrest, 7 represents an accessory holder and 8 represents a set of equipment connection sockets.

1. Electrified table for clinical or complementary diagnostic examinations comprising:

a support for accommodating a patient and a support supporting base, wherein said support base comprises

a plurality of compartments for housing a plurality of medical equipment and its accessories, wherein the compartments are independent of each other and permit independent use of each equipment;

a plurality of electrical outlets for connecting said equipment wherein the electrification wires are coupled within the table structure and are capable of being connected to a power source.

Electrified table according to the preceding claim, wherein each compartment comprises a slide assembly and a tiltable outer face to facilitate access to equipment stored in said compartment.

Electrified table according to any preceding claim wherein at least one of said compartments comprises a data processor.

Electrified table according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the table comprises a set of wheels located at the lower end of the base to facilitate the movement of the table.
