Description
The present invention relates to a household appliance control unit the operation of which is controlled by means of an exhaust hood comprising a projector that reflects the image predetermined by the producer to a surface and a sensor that detects the control signal in the area scanned by the projector.
Nowadays, household appliances, in particular cookers, can be controlled in a wired or wireless manner by detecting the data input by the user via the image reflected on a surface by the projectors that are disposed in the exhaust hoods positioned above the said household appliances. Especially in cooker and exhaust hood embodiments, the projector is placed inside the exhaust hood; however, due to the operation of the cooker, impurities such as oil, moisture, etc. in the environment stick to and accumulate on the glass in front of the projector, consequently beams emanating from the projector cannot reach the surface on which the image is intended to be projected or the quality of the image is impaired. Further, the cooker should also be illuminated in certain cases. In case the cooker is required to be illuminated, the positioning of the lamp on the exhaust hood is very difficult. Because, the cooker should be illuminated without affecting the image projected by the projector. Moreover, the lamps are required to be serviced.
In the state of the art International Patent Application No. WO2010135478, household appliances are disclosed, that are controlled from the image projected by the projector.
In the state of the art International Patent Application No. WO2015078643, a projector placed on an exhaust hood and a cooker controlled via an image reflected by the projector are disclosed.
The aim of the present invention is the realization of a cooker that is illuminated without affecting the operation of the projector.
The exhaust hood realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof is positioned above a cooker so that there is a distance between the exhaust hood and the cooker, the exhaust hood comprising a filter that is disposed into a casing, a projector that is preferably disposed into the casing in front of the filter and at least one lamp that is disposed behind the filter.
As the projector is disposed on one side of the opaque filter and the lamps providing the illumination of the cooker are disposed on the other side thereof, the cooker is illuminated in a manner that the image projected by the projector is not affected by the light emitted by the lamp. Moreover, the lamp concealed behind the filter is prevented from being seen.
In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the filter is disposed in an inclined manner. While an opening and a lid are disposed at the region where the filter is closest to the rear wall of the casing, the lamp is disposed at the region where the filter surface is farthest from the rear wall of the casing. Thus, almost the entire light emitted by the lamps is enabled to pass through a narrow area without dispersing.
By means of the lamp preferably disposed just behind the filter, the user can reach and replace the lamp by dismounting the filter.
The lamp is mounted on a support in the casing. The support both supports the lamp and prevents unauthorized persons from accessing the power connections of the lamp.
An exhaust hood realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention is illustrated in the attached figures, where:
Figure 1 - is the general view of a household appliance control unit.
Figure 2 - is the view of the casing and the lid.

The elements illustrated in the figures are numbered as follows:

A: Cooker
The exhaust hood (1) is positioned above a cooker (A) so that there is a distance between the exhaust hood (1) and the cooker (A), the exhaust hood (1) comprising a casing (2), a projector (3) that is disposed in the casing (2), that projects the images that are preloaded by the producer to a surface, enabling the user to enter information through the transmitted image and enabling the cooker (A) to be controlled in accordance with the information entered, and at least one filter (4) through which the air sucked from the environment passes. The exhaust hood (1) furthermore comprises at least one lamp (5) that is disposed into the casing (2) so as to remain behind the filter (4) at one side of the filter (4) with the projector (3) being disposed at the other side thereof (Figure 1).
The lamp (5) that is controlled automatically or by the user is operated when the illumination of the cooker (A) is required, thus enabling the cooker (A) to be illuminated. By disposing the lamp (5) and the projector (3) at either side of the filter (4), the image projected by the projector (3) is prevented from being disrupted due to the light emitted by the lamp (5). Moreover, since the lamp (5) remains behind the filter (4), the lamp (5) is concealed and prevented from being seen from the outside.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the projector (3) is disposed in front of the filter (4) and the lamp (5) is disposed behind the filter (4).
In an embodiment of the present invention, preferably two lamps (5) are used.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the projector (3) and the lamp (5) are disposed almost at the same level.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the exhaust hood (1) comprises an opening (6) arranged directly below the position of the lamp (5) so as to enable the light emitted by the lamp (5) to reach the cooker (A). In the preferred embodiment, the exhaust hood (1) furthermore comprises an opaque lid (7) covering the opening (6). In this embodiment, while being sucked by the exhaust hood (1) any impurities such as oil, steam, moisture, etc. generated due to the meal cooked on the cooker (A) is prevented from reaching the lamp (5) disposed into the exhaust hood (1) by means of the lid (7). By means of the present invention, while the said impurities are prevented from reaching the lamp (5), the light emitted by the lamp (5) is enabled to reach the cooker (A).
Since the lamp (5) is disposed at a position just behind the filter (4), accessible by the user, the user can access the lamp (5) only by dismounting the filter (4) in case the lamp (5) malfunctions.
The exhaust hood (1) comprises a support (8) that is disposed into the casing (2) almost parallel to the cooker (A) and whereon the lamps (5) are disposed. In the preferred embodiment, the support (8) is a plate produced from sheet metal. The energy supply, preferably power connections of the lamp (5) remain behind the support (8), inaccessible to the user. Thus, the unauthorized persons are prevented from reaching this region.
In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the filter (4) is disposed in an inclined manner. While the opening (6) and the lid (7) are disposed at the region where the filter (4) is closest to the rear wall of the casing (2), the lamp (5) is disposed at the region where the filter (4) surface is farthest from the rear wall of the casing (2). Thus, almost the entire light emitted by the lamps (5) is enabled to pass through a narrow area without dispersing (Figure 2 and Figure 3).
