In this case, since at least the spatula part can cover the circumference of the electric wire by about a half circumference, the spatula part and the electric wire can be stably fixed.
In the fourth aspect, the electric wire inserted into the cylindrical protective portion of the terminal protective member is sandwiched between the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical protective portion and the bent portion. Thereby, an electric wire can be hold | maintained with a terminal protection member.
The electric wire inserted into the terminal protection member obtained by the manufacturing method of the fifth aspect is sandwiched between the inner peripheral surface of the terminal protection member and the bent portion. Thereby, an electric wire can be hold | maintained with a terminal protection member.
In the terminal protection member obtained by the manufacturing method of the sixth aspect, the electric wire can be positioned with respect to the terminal protection member by inserting until the end of the electric wire comes into contact with the other end.
In the seventh aspect, the terminal protection member can be manufactured by extrusion molding and a process continuous thereto. That is, the terminal protection member can be manufactured at a low cost.
In the eighth aspect, the electric wire inserted into the terminal protection member is sandwiched between the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical protection portion and the bent portion. Thereby, an electric wire can be hold | maintained (temporarily fixed) with a terminal protection member. And since the electric wire is hold | maintained at the terminal protection member, a fixing of a spatula part and an electric wire can be performed easily.
In the ninth aspect, it is possible to easily perform the operation of attaching the covering member in a lump so as to cover the periphery of the spatula portion and the electric wire.

<Embodiment>
With reference to FIGS. 1 to 8, the terminal protection member 100 according to the embodiment and the manufacturing method thereof will be described. The terminal protection member 100 is a member that can protect the terminal 90 of the electric wire 9. 1 to 5 are views for explaining a method of manufacturing the terminal protection member 100. FIG. 6 and 7 are diagrams illustrating a method of manufacturing the electric wire 101 with the terminal protection member. FIG. 8 is a partially cutaway side view showing the terminal protection member 100 and the terminal protection member-attached electric wire 101.
The manufacturing method of the terminal protection member 100 of this embodiment includes a slit forming step and a bending step. Here, the method for manufacturing the terminal protection member 100 further includes a closing step. Hereinafter, the details of each process will be described with reference to FIGS.
First, the slit forming process will be described. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the slit forming step is a step of providing a plurality of slits 2 along the circumferential direction from one end portion (hereinafter referred to as one end portion 11) of the cylindrical member 10 to an intermediate portion. It is. Here, the slit forming step is a step of providing a plurality of slits 2 along the circumferential direction in the cylindrical member 10 obtained by extrusion molding.
That is, in this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, the terminal protection member 100 is made from the cylindrical member 10 obtained by extrusion molding. When the cylindrical member 10 is obtained by extrusion molding, the manufacturing cost can be reduced. In addition, as another example, the case where the cylindrical member 10 is a member obtained by injection molding etc. can be considered.
Further, here, it is conceivable that the cylindrical member 10 is a resin or rubber member having insulating properties such as vinyl chloride, polyolefin, or polypropylene.
In the slit forming step, a plurality of slits 2 are provided along the circumferential direction of the cylindrical member 10 from the one end 11 of the cylindrical member 10 to the intermediate portion. More specifically, here, the slit 2 is provided up to half of the entire length of the tubular member 10. The total length of the cylindrical member 10 is a length from one end 11 to the other end opposite to the one end 11 (hereinafter, the other end 12). In this case, it is possible to prevent the latera 6 described later from becoming excessively long and short. Moreover, the part which comprises the bending part 7 mentioned later can be made into sufficient length, and the electric wire 9 can fully be hold | maintained.
Further, here, the slit 2 is a streak-like slit. As shown in FIG. 3, the cylindrical member 10 is provided with two slits 2. Here, the two slits 2 are provided at equal intervals along the circumferential direction.
As another example, a case in which three or more slits 2 are provided in the cylindrical member 10 may be considered. However, as will be described later, a portion between two slits 2 adjacent in the circumferential direction (inter-slit portion 20) forms the spatula portion 6 or the bent portion 7. Therefore, in order to prevent the spatula portion 6 and the bent portion 7 from becoming excessively thin in the circumferential direction, it is conceivable that the cylindrical member 10 is provided with, for example, two to eight slits 2.
Further, here, the plurality of slits 2 are provided at equal intervals along the circumferential direction, but there may be a case where the plurality of slits 2 are provided at irregular intervals.
In addition, here, as shown in FIG. 2, a closing process for closing the other end 12 of the cylindrical member 10 is performed. The closing process may be performed before or after the slit forming process.
In the closing process, the opening of the other end 12 is closed. Here, as shown in FIG. 2, the inner peripheral surfaces of the other end 12 are brought close to each other, and the inner peripheral surfaces are welded together by an adhesive or by heat welding or ultrasonic welding, thereby the other end 12. Is closed.
After the slit forming process, a bending process is performed. As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the bending step is a step of bending at least one of a plurality (here, two) inter-slit portions 20 toward the inner peripheral side of the cylindrical member 10.
More specific explanation. Here, as shown in FIG. 3, two slits 2 are provided at equal intervals along the circumferential direction. As a result, two inter-slit portions 20 including a half-circular portion of the cylindrical member 10 are formed.
Then, one of the two inter-slit portions 20 (hereinafter referred to as the upper inter-slit portion 201) is bent toward the inner peripheral side of the cylindrical member 10. More specifically, here, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the end surface 21 of the upper slit portion 201 is bent from the base so as to face the other end 12 side. Here, the bent upper slit portion 201 is an elastically deformable portion that attempts to return to its original shape (a shape extending to one side). For this reason, the bent upper inter-slit portion 201 tries to return to the original shape, and a part of the outer peripheral surface of the upper inter-slit portion 201 is part of the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical member 10 between the two inter-slit portions 20. It contacts so that it may be pressed against the surface of the other side (henceforth the part 202 between lower slits) side. The bent upper slit portion 201 forms the bent portion 7 of the terminal protection member 100.
On the other hand, here, the lower slit-to-slit portion 202 is not bent and has a shape extending to one side. The lower slit-to-slit portion 202 having a shape extending to the one side forms the spatula portion 6 of the terminal protection member 100.
As described above, in the present embodiment, the terminal protection member 100 is manufactured through the slit forming process, the closing process, and the bending process. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4, the terminal protection member 100 includes a cylindrical protection part 5, a spatula part 6, and a bent part 7 as follows.
The cylindrical protection part 5 is a cylindrical part into which the terminal 90 of the electric wire 9 can be inserted. At one end 51 of the cylindrical protection part 5, a spatula part 6 and a bent part 7 are formed continuously.
On the other hand, the other end 52 of the cylindrical protection part 5 (matching with the other end 12 of the cylindrical member 10) is closed. In this case, positioning when the electric wire 9 is inserted into the cylindrical protection portion 5 can be easily performed. Details will be described later.
The spatula portion 6 is formed to extend from one end portion 51 of the cylindrical protection portion 5 to one side (a direction opposite to the direction from the one end portion 51 to the other end portion 52). More specifically, here, a plurality of (here, two) slits 2 are formed from one end 11 of the cylindrical member 10 to the intermediate portion, and a plurality of (here, two) slits 2 are formed. A portion in which at least one (here, one) of the intermediate portions (inter-slit portion 20) extends to one side is the spatula portion 6.
Here, since the terminal protection member 100 is made of the cylindrical member 10 having a circular cross section, it is considered that the spatula portion 6 is formed in an arc shape in cross section. An electric wire 9 is disposed on the inner peripheral surface side of the spatula portion 6 as described later. Here, the area of the spatula portion 6 in the circumferential direction is formed so as to be more than half of the whole (here, half of the whole). Here, the two slits 2 are provided in the cylindrical member 10 so as to be equally spaced along the circumferential direction, and one of the two inter-slit portions 20 (the lower inter-slit portion 202) is This is to form the spatula part 6. In this case, since at least the spatula part 6 can cover the circumference of the electric wire 9 about a half circumference, the spatula part 6 and the electric wire 9 can be stably fixed.
The bent portion 7 includes a portion extending from one end 51 of the cylindrical protective portion 5 to one side and a portion bent toward the inner peripheral side of the cylindrical protective portion 5. In the bent portion 7, a portion extending from one end portion 51 of the cylindrical protective portion 5 to one side and a portion bent toward the inner peripheral side of the cylindrical protective portion 5 are formed in a row.
Here, the bent portion 7 is a portion in which a portion extending from one end portion 51 of the cylindrical protective portion 5 to one side is bent to the inner peripheral side of the cylindrical protective portion 5. More specifically, here, a plurality of (here, two) slits 2 are formed from one end 11 of the cylindrical member 10 to the intermediate portion, and a plurality of (here, two) slits 2 are formed. The bent portion 7 is a portion in which at least one (here, one) of the intermediate portions (the slit-to-slit portion 20) is bent toward the inner peripheral side of the tubular member 10.
Here, as described above, the bent portion 7 is an elastically deformable portion, and is in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical protective portion 5 so that a part thereof is pressed. An electric wire 9 is inserted between the bent portion 7 and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical protective portion 5 as will be described later.
Incidentally, here, the two slits 2 are provided in the cylindrical member 10 so as to be equally spaced along the circumferential direction, and one of the two inter-slit portions 20 (upper inter-slit portion 201) is provided. The bent portion 7 is formed. In this case, since the width | variety of the bending part 7 can fully be ensured, holding | maintenance of the electric wire 9 is stabilized. That is, the terminal protection member 100 of the present embodiment can stabilize the holding of the electric wire 9 by the bent portion 7 while stabilizing the fixing of the spatula portion 6 and the electric wire 9.
Next, a method for manufacturing the electric wire 101 with terminal protective member 101 and the electric wire 101 with terminal protective member will be described with reference to FIGS. Here, the manufacturing method of the electric wire 101 with a terminal protection member includes a temporary fixing step and a fixing step.
First, the electric wire 9 in the electric wire 101 with a terminal protection member will be described. It is conceivable that the electric wire 9 is an insulated wire including a core wire and an insulating coating covering the periphery of the core wire, for example. Here, the insulation coating at the end of the electric wire 9 is removed, and the core wire is exposed.
Here, two electric wires 9 are inserted into the terminal protection member 100. As for the two electric wires 9, the core wires of each end part are connected by welding or the like. Here, the portion including the portion where the core wires at the end portions are connected is the terminal 90. More specifically, here, the terminal 90 includes a portion where the core wires at the ends of the electric wires 9 are connected to each other and a portion of the insulating coating.
As another example, the terminal 90 may include a terminal connected to the core wire at the end of the electric wire 9. Further, a case where one or three or more electric wires 9 are inserted into the terminal protection member 100 is also conceivable.
The temporary fixing process will be described. The temporary fastening process is a process in which the terminal 90 of the electric wire 9 is inserted into the tubular protective part 5 of the terminal protective member 100 from one side and temporarily secured by the bent part 7. More specifically, the electric wire 9 is inserted into the cylindrical protection part 5 from one side so that the electric wire 9 is disposed on the inner peripheral surface of the spatula part 6. Here, the bent portion 7 is a portion that can be elastically deformed, and is in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical protective portion 5 such that a part thereof is pressed. For this reason, when the terminal 90 of the electric wire 9 is inserted between the bent portion 7 and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical protective portion 5, the electric wire 9 is sandwiched between the bent portion 7 and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical protective portion 5. It is. Thereby, the electric wire 9 is fixed (temporarily fastened) to the terminal protection member 100.
Note that, here, the other end 52 of the cylindrical protective portion 5 is closed. For this reason, when inserting the electric wire 9 into the inside of the cylindrical protection part 5, if the predetermined amount of electric wires 9 are inserted, the terminal 90 of the electric wire 9 will contact the other end part 52 of the cylindrical protection part 5. FIG. For this reason, for example, until the terminal 90 comes into contact with the other end portion 52 of the cylindrical protection part 5, the electric wire 9 is inserted into the cylindrical protection part 5, thereby the cylindrical protection part of the electric wire 9. It can suppress that the insertion amount to 5 becomes inadequate and it becomes excess.
Next, the fixing process will be described. The fixing step is a step in which the terminal 90 is inserted into the cylindrical protection portion 5 and the electric wire 9 and the spatula portion 6 temporarily fixed by the bent portion 7 are fixed. Here, in the fixing step, the terminal 90 is inserted into the cylindrical protection portion 5 and the covering member 8 is attached so as to cover the periphery of the wire 9 and the bellows portion 6 temporarily fixed by the bent portion 7. It is the process of fixing.
More specifically, here, the covering member 8 is a tape-like member, and an adhesive layer is formed on one surface side. And the covering member 8 is wound so that the circumference | surroundings of the electric wire 9 and the spatula part 6 may be covered collectively by making the adhesion layer of the covering member 8 inside. As another example, a case where the covering member 8 is a tape that does not include an adhesive layer or a band may be considered.
Here, since the electric wire 9 is sandwiched between the bent portion 7 of the terminal protection member 100 and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical protection portion 5, the end of the electric wire 9 from the terminal protection member 100 during the operation of winding the covering member 8 is performed. 90 can be prevented from falling out.
