Description
本发明涉及一种显示面板及其像素结构,特别涉及一种紫外线诱导多区域垂直配向的显示面板及其像素结构。
薄膜晶体管液晶(TFT-LCD)显示器近年来得到了飞速的发展和广泛的应用。具体而言,TFT-LCD可视为两片玻璃基板中间夹着一层液晶,上层的玻璃基板是彩色滤光片、下层的玻璃基板上设置有薄膜晶体管。当电流通过薄膜晶体管时,产生电场变化,电场的变化引起液晶分子偏转,从而来改变光线的偏极性,而实现预期的显示画面。在施加电压前,需要使液晶分子有一个初始取向方向,因此,在显示面板中通常设置有配向膜,配向膜控制液晶分子的排列方向与角度。
随着配向技术的进步,光配向技术取向方式逐渐取代了传统的摩擦布取向方式。为了降低大视角色偏,一般都将单一像素做成多区域(multi-domain)显示,使得不同区域中的液晶分子出现不同的预倾角。光配向膜的作用就是替代了传统的凸起或沟槽结构,避免了由传统的凸起和沟槽结构造成的漏光,极大的提高了开口率,并且使子像素区域的液晶分子具有初始的预倾角,加快响应速度。
如图 1 所示,像素 10 包括红、绿、蓝色子像素 R 、 G 、 B ,每一子像素划分为主配向区域

再划分为四个相同大小的子区域,且同一子像素中相邻两配向子区域间的配向方向均不相同,以达到广视角的需求。然而,如图 2
所示,在显示画面时,由于液晶分子倾倒方向不同,在主配向区域 12 及次配向区域 14 交界以及子区域交界处会出现暗线 20 ,使得主配向区域 12
及次配向区域 14 中会有“卍”状暗线,影响了光线透过率。
本发明的一个目的在于提供一种多区域垂直配向的显示面板,其透过配置子区域的配向方向,可减少暗线的产生,提高了光线透过率。本发明的另一个目的在于提供一种多区域垂直配向的像素结构,其透过配置子区域的配向方向,可减少暗线的产生,提高了光线透过率。
为解决上述问题,本发明的优选实施例提供了一种多区域垂直配向的显示面板,包括多个呈阵列式排布的像素单元,每一像素单元包括三个并行排列的子像素,所述三个子像素分别由上配向区域及下配向区域构成;所述上配向区域及下配向区域分别包括四个子区域,所述四个子区域的上、下相邻及左、右相邻的子区域的配像方向均互相垂直;其中分别位于上、下及左、右相邻的子像素的任两相邻的子区域的配向方向相同;以及分别位于上、下相邻的所述上配向区域及下配向区域的任两相邻的子区域的配向方向相同。
在本发明优选实施例的显示面板中,所述上配向区域的所述四个子区域的面积相等,且是以2×2阵列排列;所述下配向区域的所述四个子区域的面积相等,且是以2×2阵列排列。
在本发明优选实施例的显示面板中,所述配向方向与水平方向的夹角为45°、135°、-45°或-135°。
在本发明优选实施例的显示面板中,所述显示面板还包括相迭的第一基板及第二基板,所述第一基板包括第一光配向膜,所述第二基板包括第二光配向膜,所述第一光配向膜的配向方向与所述第二光配向膜的配向方向垂直。

在本发明优选实施例的像素结构中,所述上配向区域的所述四个子区域的面积相等,且是以2×2阵列排列;所述下配向区域的所述四个子区域的面积相等,且是以2×2阵列排列。
在本发明优选实施例的像素结构中,所述配向方向与水平方向的夹角为45°、135°、-45°或-135°。
相对于现有技术,本发明透过配置分别位于上、下及左、右相邻的子像素的任两相邻的子区域的配向方向相同,可减少上、下及左、右相邻的子像素之间的暗线。另外,配置上配向区域及下配向区域的任两相邻的子区域的配向方向相同。也就是一共可减少百分之五十的暗线的产生,提高了光线透过率。

进一步而言,所述上配向区域52及下配向区域54中的所述四个子区域520、540的上、下相邻及左、右相邻的子区域520、540的配像方向(如箭头所示)均互相垂直。具体来说,所述配向方向与水平方向的夹角为45°、135°、-45°或-135°。另外,为了降低暗线,分别位于上、下及左、右相邻的子像素42的任两相邻的子区域520、540的配向方向相同,如标示框60、65所示。此外,分别位于上、下相邻的所述上配向区域52及下配向区域54的任两相邻的子区域520、540的配向方向相同,如标示框67所示。由于所示两相邻的子区域520、540的配向方向相同,因此于任两相邻的子区域520、540之间将不会产生配向不匹配的问题,进而不会产生暗线。
参考图4及图5,图4为本发明的优选实施例的第一基板的上视示意图,图5为本发明的优选实施例的第二基板的上视示意图。本实施例的显示面板30还包括相迭的第一基板32及第二基板34。举例来说,第一基板32为阵列(Array)基板,第二基板34为彩膜基板(Color
Filter,
CF)基板。所述第一基板32包括第一光配向膜320,所述第二基板34包括第二光配向膜340,所述第一光配向膜320的配向方向(如箭头所示)与所述第二光配向膜340的配向方向(如箭头所示)垂直。
在此实施例中,所述第一光配向膜320的配向方向为垂直方向,所述第二光配向膜340的配向方向为水平方向。更进一步而言,所述第一光配向膜320上对应每一子像素42包括两配向方向,且所述两配向方向互相平行且反向。所述第二光配向膜340对应每一上配向区域52及下配向区域54包括两配向方向,所述两配向方向互相平行且反向。进一步而言,如图4所示,所述第一光配向膜320上对应左、右相邻的子像素42中的两相邻的配向方向相同,如配向方向61、62所示。如图5所示,所述第二光配向膜340上对应上、下相邻的所述上配向区域52及下配向区域54的两相邻的配向方向相同,如配向方向66、67所示。
如图3所示,第一基板32及第二基板34组立后,各个子区域520、540的配向方向则为上述第一基板32及第二基板34分别的配向方向的合成效果。
参考图6,图6为本实施例的多区域垂直配向的像素单元的显示示意图。本实施例的像素单元40在显示画面时,由于分别位于上、下及左、右相邻的子像素42的任两相邻的子区域520、540的配向方向相同,且上、下相邻的所述上配向区域52及下配向区域54的任两相邻的子区域520、540的配向方向相同,因此在上、下及左、右相邻的子像素42之间的暗线将会消失,且上配向区域52及下配向区域54之间的暗线也会消失,进而提升了光线透过率。由上可知,本发明可减少上、下及左、右相邻的子像素之间以及上配向区域52及下配向区域54之间的暗线,也就是一共可减少百分之五十的暗线20的产生,提高了光线透过率。
以下说明本发明之优选实施例的多区域垂直配向的像素结构。请参考图3的像素单元40。本实施例的像素结构40包括三个并行排列的子像素42。所述三个子像素42分别由上配向区域52及下配向区域54构成。所述上配向区域52及下配向区域54分别包括四个子区域520、540。
在此实施例中,所述上配向区域52的所述四个子区域520的面积相等,且是以2×2阵列排列。同样地,所述下配向区域54的所述四个子区域540的面积相等,且是以2×2阵列排列。
进一步而言,所述上配向区域52及下配向区域54中的所述四个子区域520、540的上、下相邻及左、右相邻的子区域520、540的配像方向(如箭头所示)均互相垂直。具体来说,所述配向方向与水平方向的夹角为45°、135°、-45°或-135°。为了降低暗线,分别位于上、下及左、右相邻的子像素42的任两相邻的子区域520、540的配向方向相同,如标示框60、65所示。此外,分别位于上、下相邻的所述上配向区域52及下配向区域54的任两相邻的子区域520、540的配向方向相同,如标示框67所示。由于所示两相邻的子区域520、540的配向方向相同,因此于任两相邻的子区域520、540之间将不会产生配向不匹配的问题,进而不会产生暗线。
综上所述,本发明透过配置分别位于上、下及左、右相邻的子像素42的任两相邻的子区域520、540的配向方向相同,可减少上、下及左、右相邻的子像素42之间的暗线。另外,配置上、下相邻的所述上配向区域52及下配向区域54的任两相邻的子区域520、540的配向方向相同,可减少上配向区域52及下配向区域54之间的暗线。也就是一共可减少百分之五十的暗线的产生,提高了光线透过率。
虽然本发明已以优选实施例揭露如上,但上述优选实施例并非用以限制本发明,本领域的普通技术人员,在不脱离本发明的精神和范围内,均可作各种更动与润饰,因此本发明的保护范围以权利要求界定的范围为准。
Claims (14)
- 一种多区域垂直配向的显示面板,包括多个呈阵列式排布的像素单元,每一像素单元包括三个并行排列的子像素,其中所述三个子像素分别由上配向区域及下配向区域构成;所述上配向区域及下配向区域分别包括四个子区域,所述四个子区域的上、下相邻及左、右相邻的子区域的配像方向均互相垂直;其中分别位于上、下及左、右相邻的子像素的任两相邻的子区域的配向方向相同;以及分别位于上、下相邻的所述上配向区域及下配向区域的任两相邻的子区域的配向方向相同。
- 根据权利要求1所述的多区域垂直配向的显示面板,其中所述上配向区域的所述四个子区域的面积相等,且是以2×2阵列排列;所述下配向区域的所述四个子区域的面积相等,且是以2×2阵列排列。
- 根据权利要求1所述的多区域垂直配向的显示面板,其中所述配向方向与水平方向的夹角为45°、135°、-45°或-135°。
- 根据权利要求1所述的多区域垂直配向的显示面板,其中所述显示面板还包括相迭的第一基板及第二基板,所述第一基板包括第一光配向膜,所述第二基板包括第二光配向膜,所述第一光配向膜的配向方向与所述第二光配向膜的配向方向垂直。
- 根据权利要求4所述的多区域垂直配向的显示面板,其中所述第一光配向膜的配向方向为垂直方向,所述第二光配向膜的配向方向为水平方向。
- 根据权利要求5所述的多区域垂直配向的显示面板,其中所述第一光配向膜上对应每一子像素包括两配向方向,且所述两配向方向互相平行且反向;所述第二光配向膜对应每一上配向区域及下配向区域包括两配向方向,所述两配向方向互相平行且反向。
- 根据权利要求6所述的多区域垂直配向的显示面板,其中所述第一光配向膜上对应左、右相邻的子像素中的两相邻的配向方向相同;所述第二光配向膜上对应上、下相邻的所述上配向区域及下配向区域的两相邻的配向方向相同。
- 一种多区域垂直配向的像素结构,包括三个并行排列的子像素,其中所述三个子像素分别由上配向区域及下配向区域构成;所述上配向区域及下配向区域分别包括四个子区域,所述四个子区域的上、下相邻及左、右相邻的子区域的配像方向均互相垂直;其中分别位于上、下及左、右相邻的子像素的任两相邻的子区域的配向方向相同;以及分别位于上、下相邻的所述上配向区域及下配向区域的任两相邻的子区域的配向方向相同。
- 根据权利要求8所述的多区域垂直配向的像素结构,其中所述上配向区域的所述四个子区域的面积相等,且是以2×2阵列排列;所述下配向区域的所述四个子区域的面积相等,且是以2×2阵列排列。
- 根据权利要求8所述的多区域垂直配向的像素结构,其中所述配向方向与水平方向的夹角为45°、135°、-45°或-135°。
- 根据权利要求8所述的多区域垂直配向的像素结构,其中所述像素结构还包括相迭的第一基板及第二基板,所述第一基板包括第一光配向膜,所述第二基板包括第二光配向膜,所述第一光配向膜的配向方向与所述第二光配向膜的配向方向垂直。
- 根据权利要求11所述的多区域垂直配向的像素结构,其中所述第一光配向膜的配向方向为垂直方向,所述第二光配向膜的配向方向为水平方向。
- 根据权利要求12所述的多区域垂直配向的像素结构,其中所述第一光配向膜上对应每一子像素包括两配向方向,且所述两配向方向互相平行且反向;所述第二光配向膜对应每一上配向区域及下配向区域包括两配向方向,所述两配向方向互相平行且反向。
- 根据权利要求13所述的多区域垂直配向的像素结构,其中所述第一光配向膜上对应左、右相邻的子像素中的两相邻的配向方向相同;所述第二光配向膜上对应上、下相邻的所述上配向区域及下配向区域的两相邻的配向方向相同。
