  • This disclosure relates to a signal output device having a function of shaping and outputting a waveform while reducing noise radiated from a transmission line.
  • a plurality of in-vehicle devices mounted on a vehicle communicate with each other by transmitting a signal to a transmission line. Since this communication signal includes harmonics, harmonic noise is radiated from the transmission line.
  • Various radiation noise reduction techniques have been developed to suppress such harmonic noise (see, for example, Patent Document 1). According to the invention described in Patent Document 1, radiation noise can be reduced by limiting the band of a rectangular signal.
  • An object of the present disclosure is to provide a signal output device capable of suppressing ringing while enabling a desired frequency band limitation.
  • a signal output unit outputs a signal obtained through pass characteristics of a first filter by a Bessel filter and a second filter by a Chebyshev filter or a Butterworth filter for a predetermined signal having an arbitrary waveform Therefore, even if an arbitrary waveform is a rectangular signal, the edge of the rectangular signal can be blunted. Furthermore, since the cut-off frequency of the first filter is set lower than the cut-off frequency of the second filter, ringing can be suppressed while enabling a desired frequency band restriction.
