Abstract

Snap hook, comprising an annular body (1), divided into at least two portions by means of at least one transverse separating member (401), preferably made of one piece with said annular body (1), being opened both of the annular portions, and each provided with a closing member (201, 501) coupled at one end (111, 311) of said respective opening and able to close, removably, on the other end (101, 301) of said opening, being at least one (501) of said closing members provided at its free end with removable locking means (511, 601) cooperating with the corresponding end (301, 331) of the respective opening.

Description

TITLE OF THE INVENTION
Snap hook
TEXT OF THE DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a new constructive conception of snap hook that differs from the one currently available on the market to offer a different and alternative functionality.
The snap hooks commonly available on the market comprise at least an open annular element, in which at one end is connected to a mobile element able to close, in a removable manner, on the other end of the opening. There are several examples of different applications of snap hooks, with two or more rings combined with each other in a fixed or rotatable manner.
A typical problem to be faced is related to the features of the different combined rings between them. In particular, if the snap hook is designed to attach keys, or other obj ects of similar size, to clothing, should be considered the various opportunities of the couplings that are made.
The snap hook according to the present invention differs from the state of the art for the possibility of providing at least two different types of coupling between the moving parts and the annular retaining parts.
Obj ect of the invention is therefore a snap hook, comprising an annular body, divided into at least two portions via at least one transverse partition element, preferably made in one piece with said annular body, being both annular portions open, and each provided with a closure element coupled to one end of said opening and able to close, removably, on the other end of said opening, being at least one of said closing elements provided at its free end cooperating removable locking means with the corresponding end of the respective opening . In one embodiment, said closing elements have different sections between them; preferably, a first closing element is consistent with that section of the annular body, while a second closure element is of section substantially lower than that of the annular body. Preferably, said first closing element is provided with spring-loading means, able to force said first closure element against appropriate stop means proj ecting from the end of the corresponding respective opening. Said second closure element can instead be a swinging cross-member, pivoted at one end to said annular body, and provided at the opposite end of a through hole, cooperating with fixing means suitable to cooperate also with a suitable cavity formed corresponding end the opening of the annular body.
Further advantages and features will become apparent from the following description of an embodiment of the present invention, performed, by way of example and not limiting thereto, with reference to the tables of the accompanying drawings, in which:
Figure 1 is a photograph of an embodiment of the snap hook according to the present invention; and
Figure 2 illustrates the snap hook of Figure 1 in a functional application.
In Figure 1 is shown an embodiment of the snap hook according to the present invention; with the numeral 1 is designated the annular body of the snap hook, which has a first opening, delimited by the ends 101 and 1 1 1 ; in the latter end of the opening is pivoted, via the pin 121 , the locking arm 201 , provided with spring-loading means, not visible in the figure.
The annular body has a bridge 401 , which separates the annular body into two annular portions, in this case of considerably different size between them. At the end of the second opening 3 1 1 of the annular body 1 , is pivotally connected, by means the pin 321 , the cross-member 501 , closing said second opening. This cross member 501 at the free end bears the through hole 5 1 1 which cooperates with the screw 601 and the blind hole 33 1 formed at the end 301 of the second opening, allowing the stable attachment, though removably, the said cross-member 501 to the annular body 1 . Said cross member is of much smaller section than that of the annular body 1 of the snap hook.
The operation of the snap hook according to the present invention is apparent from what is illustrated in the figure 2, where the same parts correspond to same numbers. As is apparent in the figure, the car key 20 and the keys 30 can be inserted on the cross bar 501 and then secured to the annular body 1 , which in turn may be coupled to the tab 1 1 of the pants 10 by the insertion of the same tab through said first opening defined by the ends 101 , 1 1 1.
