  • Carrier usage and spectrum planning for carriers and/or cells are significantly simplified for GSM and LTE sharing the same frequency band. End user performance is also improved, as e.g. a LTE carrier is only affected when GSM carriers are actually transmitted, interference can be reduced during the transmission and no need to reserve guard PRBs in general for GSM as static solutions would require, and thus general loss of capacity is removed. As long as sensitive radio blocks are excluded, the GSM carriers may be injected anywhere within the LTE cells spectrum, and the GSM cells may use frequency hopping over many frequencies within the LTE cell without causing additional deterioration for the LTE carrier.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé réalisé par un nœud de réseau, pour atténuer un brouillage dans un premier support d'une première technologie d'accès radio (RAT) pendant une transmission dans un second support d'une seconde RAT. Le nœud de réseau comprend une première partie associée à la première RAT, et une seconde partie associée à la seconde RAT. La première partie agit comme une station de base de première RAT et la seconde partie agit comme une station de base de seconde RAT. La seconde partie planifie (201) une transmission de seconde RAT dans un support de seconde RAT. Le support de seconde RAT est attribué dans ou adjacent à un support de première RAT. Le nœud de réseau transfère ensuite (202) des informations depuis la seconde partie vers la première partie. Les informations concernent la transmission de seconde RAT planifiée. Pendant la transmission de seconde RAT, la première partie atténue un brouillage (204) dans une partie du support de première RAT où le support de seconde RAT n'est pas attribué, sur la base desdites informations.
