Abstract
The invention relates to an impeller (3) for a motor-driven fan unit (1) comprising a housing (2) defining an air flow passage through which the blades (6) extend, said impeller (3) comprising a hub (5) which can be rotatably connected to a shaft of a drive motor (4), the inner end (61) of each blade (6) extending radially from the hub (5) and each blade comprising a leading edge (62) and a trailing edge (63). According to the invention, the impeller comprises a means (7) for the angular movement of the blades relative to the hub, such that the pitch of the blades can vary between an open configuration in which the leading and trailing edges (62, 63) of two adjacent blades are spaced apart from one another and a closed configuration in which the air passage of the housing is closed and in which the leading and trailing edges (62, 63) are moved towards one another such that the blades from a wall that obstructs the air passage. The invention also relates to a motor-driven fan unit including such an impeller, as well as a vehicle comprising said motor-driven fan unit.
