Abstract

The invention relates to a battery system (1), in particular for a motor vehicle, comprising at least one battery cell and/or rechargeable battery cell (2) and a consumer (3) that is in electrical contact with the battery cell and/or rechargeable battery cell (2) by means of a feeder line (4). An actuatable electromechanical component (6), such as an electrical switch, a relay, or similar, is provided in the feeder line (4), in order to actuate the feeder line (4). An electrical resistance (26) is electrically connected in parallel with the electromechanical component (6), in the manner of a resistance bypass.
