Abstract
An overhead charging arrangement (10) for a vehicle comprises first, second and third elongate charging conductors (22, 24, 26) for making contact with respective first, second and third receiving conductors (28, 30, 32) on the vehicle, the first and second charging conductors (22, 24) being arranged in-line one behind the other, and insulated from one another, and the third charging conductor (26) being disposed between the first and second charging conductors (22, 24), the third charging conductor (26) being transverse to the first and second charging conductors (22, 24).
