Abstract

The invention relates to a flame-retardant composition, comprising: water: 45.25-61.25 wt.%; preservative: 0.10-0.14 wt%; vegetable glue: 1.65-1.813 wt%; glass microspheres: 3.50-3.90 wt%; talc: 27.50-35.90 wt%; and silica sand: 6.20-10.30% and having a density of 1.042 to 1.082g/cm3, permitting the transfer and application thereof via the conventional fire-extinguishing means, having a dual function of acting as a protective substance against fire, in the form of a firebreak barrier, and as an attack substance against fire, for direct application to extinguish same. In addition, the composition is ecological and breathable, thereby having no effect on the vegetable varieties, permitting the creation of firebreak barriers that are entirely effective.
