Description

DESCRIPTION
A BUSHING ASSEMBLY WITH ROTATION BLOCKAGE
Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a bushing with rotation blockage which provides advantage in fixing the vehicle headlight plastic body on the vehicle body.
Background of the Invention
There are headlight systems so that the drivers can see the road in case the automobiles are in a dark environment. The headlight system is fixed on the front part of the vehicle body with connecting members. The hole on the body connection arm extending from the headlight body, the hole on the front bumper, and the hole on the headlight traverse are aligned, and a connection screw passes through these holes and fixes the plastic headlight body. However, since the headlight body has a plastic structure, the connection hole of the headlight body is damaged in screw method. As a result of the force applied for tightening the rotary movement of the screw, the screw damages the headlight connection hole.
In order to prevent the screw from damaging the headlight body connection hole, washer shaped bushings are used in the current technique. The bushings that are used come between the screw head and the headlight body connection arm hole, and prevent the screw from directly coming on the connection hole, and enable the screw to effect on the connection hole with more surfaces. The hole slots in the current technique and the bushings fitting into the slots have flat annular shapes. However, since the bushings used in the current technique have flat annular forms, the bushing performs rotary movement with the screw head, and the hole slot continues to be deformed with the rotary movement of the bushing. Furthermore, as a result of the flat annular shaped bushings making rotary movement during screwing method, the plastic headlight body flexes, and it makes rotary movement without the required torque force is applied, and it removes the reverse pitched alignment screw to which the bushing is connected, and connection package breaks and it prevents to reach the ideal torque values. The Problems Solved with the Invention
The objective of the present invention is to provide a bushing assembly with rotation blockage which enables the vehicle headlight body to be fixed on the vehicle such it will not be deformed.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a bushing assembly with rotation blockage which prevents the bushing from rotating by the recesses on the bushing engaging into the protruding parts formed in the screw slot. A further objective of the present invention is to provide a bushing assembly with rotation blockage which prevents the adjustment screw on the headlight traverse from being demounted as result of the rotation of the bushing and the connection package from breaking. Detailed Description of the Invention
A bushing assembly with rotation blockage developed to fulfill the objective of the present invention is illustrated in the accompanying figures, in which: Figure 1 is the perspective view of the vehicle headlight and connection extension.

A bushing assembly (1), which is provided on the connection arm (B) on the headlight body (F) for fixing the vehicle headlight body (F) and prevents the connecting member (screw) from contacting directly to the connection arm (B) and being deformed, essentially comprises
at least one screw slot (2) which is provided on the connection arm (B) extending from the vehicle headlight body (F) such that it will contact the vehicle front bumper (T), which has annular space and a screw hole on its base in which the screw (V) can fit on the connection arm (B),
- at least one holding protrusion (21) which is in form of a protrusion in the annular screw slot (2), at least one blockage bushing (3) which is provided between the screw slot (2) and the screw head (K) inside the annular screw slot (2) and which is in form of a ring through which the screw (V) can pass, and which has
• at least one upper surface (31) which forms the part contacting the screw head (K), and which is in form of an annular ring compatible with the screw head (K) for more contact with the screw head (K),
• a lower surface (32) which forms the part contacting the screw slot (2) base, which is provided such that it will engage on the holding protrusion (21), and which has at least one blockage recess (321) transferring the rotary force coming from the screw head (K) to the holding protrusion (21).
The inventive bushing assembly (1) is provided on the connection arm (B) which is for fixing the plastic vehicle headlight body (F). There is a screw connection assembly on the connection arm (B) extending from the plastic headlight body (F) by contacting the vehicle front bumper surface (T) on which the body will be fixed. The screw connection assembly is comprised of connection hole provided on the front bumper (T), a screw (V) passing through the hole on the connection arm (B) on the headlight body (F), a traverse pitched screw (A) in which the screw (V) moves, and a headlight traverse (D) in which the traverse pitched screw (A) fits. The screw connection which is formed is comprised of a screw slot (2) on the connection arm (B) on which the screw (V) will fit, a holding protrusion (21) in form of a protrusion in the screw slot (2), a blockage bushing (3) the recess of which on its lower surface (32) engages into this recess and the upper surface (31) of which is circular. The holding protrusion (21) and the blockage recess (321) which are formed prevent the blockage bushing (3) from rotating with the screw (V), and eliminate the torque loss and deformation while tightening the screw (V).
In the inventive bushing assembly (1), there is a screw slot (2) on the connection arm (B), in which the screw (V) will pass and the blockage bushing (3) will fit. The screw slot (2) has a circular shape on which the screw head (H) will fit. On the base part of the hollow surface formed for the screw head (K), there is a holding protrusion (21) which prevents the blockage bushing (3) from rotating. The holding protrusion (21) can be produced as integrated with the screw slot (2), or it can be produced as a part that is added afterwards.
The blockage bushing (3) provided in the inventive bushing assembly (1) is positioned between the base of the screw slot (2) and the screw head (K). The blockage bushing (3) is comprised of one lower surface (32) and one upper surface (31). There is a blockage recess (321) on the annular surface on the lower surface (32) of the blockage bushing (3). The blockage recess (321) has compatible sizes with the holding protrusion (21) provided in the screw slot (2), and enables the lower surface (32) to engage into the holding protrusion (21) part in the screw slot (2). The upper surface (31) of the blockage bushing (3) is provided between the holding protrusion (21) and the screw head (K), and it has a full circular ring form in order to form more contact surface with the screw head (K).
In one embodiment of the invention, the blockage bushing (3) is metal. The metal blockage bushing (3) forms blockage against rotation, and prevents the plastic headlight body (F) from being deformed.
