Abstract
Description
図1は、実施の形態に係る無線通信システムの構成例を示す図である。本実施の形態に係る無線通信システムは、LTE方式の無線通信システムであり、図1に示すように、ユーザ装置UE、及び基地局eNBを含む。図1には、ユーザ装置UE、及び基地局eNBが1つずつ示されているが、これは例であり、それぞれ複数であってもよい。
まず、現状のLTEで規定されているEstablishment causeについて説明する。現状のLTEでは、「emergency」、「highPriorityAccess」、「mt-Access」、「mo-Signalling」、「mo-Data」、「delayTolerantAccess」の6通りのEstablishment causeが規定されている。
図2は、実施の形態に係る無線通信システムの処理手順を示すシーケンス図である。
図3は、実施の形態に係るユーザ装置の機能構成例を示す図である。図3に示すように、ユーザ装置UEは、信号送信部101、信号受信部102、及び判定部103を有する。また、判定部103は、NASレイヤ処理部113及びRRCレイヤ処理部123を有する。図3は、ユーザ装置UEにおいて本発明の実施の形態に特に関連する機能部のみを示すものであり、少なくともLTEに準拠した動作を行うための図示しない機能も有するものである。また、図3に示す機能構成は一例に過ぎない。本実施の形態に係る動作を実行できるのであれば、機能区分及び機能部の名称はどのようなものでもよい。
図4は、実施の形態に係る基地局の機能構成例を示す図である。図4に示すように、基地局eNBは、信号送信部201、信号受信部202及びRRCレイヤ処理部203を有する。図4は、基地局eNBにおいて本発明の実施の形態に特に関連する機能部のみを示すものであり、少なくともLTEに準拠した動作を行うための図示しない機能も有するものである。また、図4に示す機能構成は一例に過ぎない。本実施の形態に係る動作を実行できるのであれば、機能区分及び機能部の名称はどのようなものでもよい。
(基地局)
続いて、本実施の形態に係る基地局eNB及びユーザ装置UEが行う具体的な処理手順の一例について、図を参照して説明する。
続いて、実施の形態に係るユーザ装置UEが行う具体的な処理手順について、複数の処理手順を説明する。
図8は、実施の形態に係るユーザ装置が行う処理手順(その1)を示すフローチャートである。処理手順(その1)では、NASレイヤ処理部113が、RRCコネクションリクエストに設定すべきEstablishment causeを選択する。
図9は、実施の形態に係るユーザ装置が行う処理手順(その2)を示すフローチャートである。処理手順(その2)では、VoLTE発信が行われる場合に、RRCレイヤ処理部123が、RRCコネクションリクエストに設定すべき適切なEstablishment causeを選択する。
図10は、実施の形態に係るユーザ装置が行う処理手順(その3)を示すフローチャートである。処理手順(その3)も、処理手順(その2)と同様、VoLTE発信が行われる場合に、RRCレイヤ処理部123が、RRCコネクションリクエストに設定すべき適切なEstablishment causeを選択する。
以上説明した処理手順では、ユーザ装置UEは、VoLTE発信を行う場合、自身のアクセスクラスに関わらず「VoLTE用Establishment Cause」をRRCコネクションリクエストに設定するようにした。
図8を用いて処理手順(変形例その1-1)を説明する。処理手順(変形例1-1)では、NASレイヤ処理部113は自身のアクセスクラスが11~15のいずれかであることを認識している前提とする。なお、上述の処理手順(その1)と同一処理であるステップについては説明を省略する。
図8を用いて処理手順(変形例その1-2)を説明する。処理手順(変形例1-1)では、NASレイヤ処理部113は自身のアクセスクラスが11~15のいずれかであることを認識している前提であった。処理手順(変形例その1-2)では、RRCレイヤ処理部123は自身のアクセスクラスが11~15のいずれかであることを認識している前提とする。
図9を用いて処理手順(変形例その2-1)を説明する。処理手順(変形例2-1)では、NASレイヤ処理部113は、自身のアクセスクラスが11~15のいずれかであることを認識している前提とする。なお、上述の処理手順(その2)と同一処理であるステップについては説明を省略する。
図9を用いて処理手順(変形例その2-2)を説明する。処理手順(変形例その2-2)では、RRCレイヤ処理部123は自身のアクセスクラスが11~15のいずれかであることを認識している前提とする。
図10を用いて処理手順(変形例その3-1)を説明する。処理手順(変形例3-1)では、NASレイヤ処理部113は、自身のアクセスクラスが11~15のいずれかであることを認識している前提とする。なお、上述の処理手順(その3)と同一処理であるステップについては説明を省略する。

以上、実施の形態によれば、基地局と通信するユーザ装置であって、VoLTE発信を行う場合に、前記基地局から受信した報知情報に所定の指示子が含まれているか否かを判定する判定部と、報知情報に前記所定の指示子が含まれていると判定された場合、VoLTE発信をするためにRRCコネクションの確立を要求することを示す情報が設定されたRRCコネクション要求メッセージを前記基地局に送信する送信部と、を有するユーザ装置が提供される。このユーザ装置UEにより、VoLTE発信時に、適切なEstablishment causeの設定を可能にする技術が提供される。
実施の形態において、NASレイヤ処理部113又はRRCレイヤ処理部123は、VoLTE発信が緊急呼の発信である場合は、RRCコネクションリクエストに設定すべきEstablishment causeとして「emergency」を選択するようにしてもよい。また、NASレイヤ処理部113又はRRCレイヤ処理部123は、VoLTE発信時であっても、ユーザ装置UE自身のアクセスクラスが11~15である場合、RRCコネクションリクエストに設定すべきEstablishment causeとして「highPriorityAccess」を選択するようにしてもよい。

Claims (7)
- 基地局と通信するユーザ装置であって、
VoLTE発信を行う場合に、前記基地局から受信した報知情報に所定の指示子が含まれているか否かを判定する判定部と、
報知情報に前記所定の指示子が含まれていると判定された場合、VoLTE発信をするためにRRCコネクションの確立を要求することを示す情報が設定されたRRCコネクション要求メッセージを前記基地局に送信する送信部と、
を有するユーザ装置。 - 前記判定部は、NASレイヤ処理部と、RRCレイヤ処理部とを含み、

請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載のユーザ装置。 - 基地局と通信するユーザ装置が行う通知方法であって、
VoLTE発信を行う場合に、前記基地局から受信した報知情報に所定の指示子が含まれているか否かを判定するステップと、
報知情報に前記所定の指示子が含まれていると判定された場合、VoLTE発信をするためにRRCコネクションの確立を要求することを示す情報が設定されたRRCコネクション要求メッセージを前記基地局に送信するステップと、
