Description

DESCRIPTION
"Method for analyzing and reconstructing parameters related to emotional aspects of a person and related diagnostic kit"
* * *
The present invention is related to a method for analyzing and reconstructing parameters related to emotional aspects of a person.
The present invention is also related to a diagnostic kit for analyzing and reconstructing parameters related to emotional aspects of a person.
As is known, in an interactive relationship between two parties, a continuous flow of emotions is externalized, often conflicting emotions that characterizes the behavior of a person. It is also known that the externalized emotional experience "here and now" allows to identify the specific nature of the emotion experienced through awareness. In particular, emotional experiences that persists over time can emerge with a reminiscent dynamic process. But only with a self-observation and an introspection process, as in a "feedback" process, the way in which the stimulating situation appears, the sensations that the body experiences and impulses to action that derives from emotional experience can be observed. The emotional experience is organized according to a corresponding space-time dimension: the present for "here and now", the future linked to this experience's expectations, the past when the experienced is reprocessed. According to the synchronic prospective, the emotional components are activated simultaneously and "here and now". Instead, the diachronic perspective analyzes, in different moments of time, experience process and emotions' communication. Through the dynamics of social sharing, or "social sharing", the reactivated experience (repetition) is activated following the communicative function that defines space and time limits, explains experience and events, understand them, and compare them with other experiences up to process them and live them with detachment. Consolidated communicative functions, i.e. listening and understanding the emotional system, gradually process new information and experiences in a continuum space-time by arranging (unfolding) and sorting them in a sequential level.
Interpersonal relations stimulate the outsourcing mechanism of emotional experiences and, through the projective mechanism transfers the subjective and personal content on an object. Practically, the person moves from himself feelings, desires, qualities that belong to him, but that still he does not recognize and locates them on a graph or on an object. In this process the person is confused by perceive the environment around him, the ability of himself to examine the reality is significantly weakened and the same reality is blurred, disorderly, and, in severe cases, distorted .
The existing emotional aspects reconstruction techniques involve the use of plastic modeling techniques such as clay modeling.
However, these known techniques cannot make the people involved in this process understand reality. In fact, clay modeling techniques used so far, while allowing to view the transposition of an emotional aspects in a three-dimensional object, do not allow a quick and sudden impact with the three-dimensional object. In addition, the known techniques do not allow the user to view and manipulate a 3D object representing two-dimensional image previously drawn by the user himself.
Purpose of present invention is to provide a method for analyzing and reconstructing parameters related to emotional aspects of a person and related diagnostic kit which allow to comprehend reality making use of the senses and which permit fast awareness, having characteristics such as to overcome the limits which still affect the previously described solutions with reference to the prior art. According to the present invention, a method for analyzing and reconstructing parameters related to emotional aspects of a person is provided, as defined in claim 1.
According to the present invention, is also provided a diagnostic kit for analyzing and reconstructing parameters related to emotional aspects of a person, as defined in claim 9.
For a better understanding of the present invention it is now described a preferred embodiment, as non-limiting example, with reference to the enclosed drawings, in which:
- figure 1 shows a schematic diagram of a method for analyzing and reconstructing parameters related to emotional aspects of a person, according to the invention;
- figure 2 shows a diagnostic kit for analyzing and reconstructing parameters related to emotional aspects of a person, according to the invention.
With reference to these figures and, in particular, to figure 1, a method for analyzing and reconstructing parameters related to emotional aspects of a person is shown, according to the invention. More in detail, the method 100 comprises the steps:
(101) of performing a graphic transformation of an emotional manifestation of the person, in response to an induced relational involvement, obtaining 2D visual images; - 102 of performing a transformation of the 2D visual images in 3D objects;
- 103 of performing a graphic presentation of the 3D objects and an actualization of said 3D objects;
- 104 of comparing and describing the emotional manifestation starting from the obtained 3D objects;
- 105 of re-establishing the psychic equilibrium of the person;
- 106 of setting up further emotional manifestation. Advantageously according to the invention, the step 101 of performing a graphic transformation of an emotional manifestation of the person, in response to an induced relational involvement, obtaining 2D visual images, includes using an illuminated drawing board.
Advantageously according to the invention, the step 101 of performing a graphic transformation of an emotional manifestation of the person, in response to an induced relational involvement, obtaining 2D visual images, includes using a chromatic light projector.
Advantageously according to the invention, the step 101 of performing a graphic transformation of an emotional manifestation of the person, in response to an induced relational involvement, obtaining 2D visual images, includes using a "bio-feedback" to self-regulate the emotion through skin conductance detection.
According to an aspect of the invention, a properly defined drawing is produced by means of an operation of correcting smudges and nuances on the 2D visual images presented by the person. This operation is carried out using a dedicated software, such as Photoshop, Artcam, Sketch up, Blender .
Advantageously according to the invention, the step 102 of performing a transformation of the 2D visual images in 3D objects comprises using a 3D printer and a computer to materialize an object, representing the mental image made directly by the person himself in a two-dimensional shape, in a three-dimensional shape. In particular, the third dimension of the object expresses a strong emotional impact on the person involved passing from amazement and bewilderment, through a dynamic process, an "insight" with immediate qualitative leap of consciousness and subsequent cognitive and emotional change.
The method involves the use of a computer for image reconstruction. In fact, once a three-dimensional object is created with the appropriate volumes or molding, such that the object made is close or equal to the drawn and contains the emotional elements transposed from the unease person, a special software, such as slicer, allow convert the 3D model into instructions that interact with the 3D printer, setting all printing parameters. All these instructions are received from the 3D printer thanks to a specific code called G-CODE. The goal during the slicing process is to set up and tweak some of the pattern printing features, that during and after the printing process can affect the speed of implementation and the appearance / behavior of the printed object.
Advantageously according to the invention, the method using a visual representation of the 3D object representing the mental image built directly from the person in the two- dimensional shape, obtains the immediate achievement of cognitive sharpness.
Advantageously according to the invention, the construction of three-dimensional objects is the emotional component of an educational-therapeutic relationship and makes it possible to reconstruct not only the conceptual aspect, but primarily the relational aspect, to build up a map of emotions valuing the subjective components and emotional story. From here it is possible to proceed to the interpretation of reality and to build social interaction meanings, to try to reach an emotional balance with a cognitive coherence, putting, as well, in order mental and emotional system of the examined person. Advantageously according to the invention, the method includes using verbal stimuli, music, color involving the five senses, turning drawings or graphics developed by individuals with emotional and cognitive problems in three- dimensional objects, using a computer and a 3D printer. In fact, the 3D observation of the object and its handling, by the person who made it, starts a process of fact-finding investigation, processing and transformation of emotional, cognitive and personal. Therefore, the 3D object obtained is characterized by the emotional component, activated after a proper verbal stimulation.
Advantageously according to the invention, the method submits the emotional elements shown in the image to a 3D transposition which gives it greater definition and clarity. The correspondence of the emotional elements is the factor that encourages the further development of the person. In fact, with the 3D representation of the object in step 103, the person is reported in his emotional world. The object makes the emotion which is activated as an emotional feedback objective and real "materializing".
Advantageously according to the invention, the step 103 comprises the person's observation of the materialized 3D object, to trigger a strong emotional impact on the person who proceeds from the astonishment and bewilderment to immediate awareness and to subsequent cognitive and emotional change. The factors that characterize the 3D object, constancy and permanence during the process of analysis and visual processing, donate an additional feature to the object, or to be free of ambiguity and allows greater cognitive and emotional sharpness with the immediacy in "grabbing" the significant reality that refers the 3D object. Indeed, the object leads the emotion that is achieved, re¬ lived and experienced at the time by activating the so-called mirror neurons. The step 103 includes using a chromatic light proj ector .
Advantageously according to the invention, the step 104 comprises activating a storytelling process to contextualize the person' s disturbing emotion sent back as feedback to the person having created it in the 3D object.
With this process, the negative element localization on the object is defined. In the narrative logic, the process of awareness and confrontation between the emotion of the past and the emotion relived with the 3D object is carried out. In the confrontation, the view of the object and its analysis leads to a process of acceptance, modification and resolution of the cognitive and emotional conflict. The step 104 includes using a chromatic light projector. The step 105 includes performing an emotional and cognitive restructuring and achieving emotional equilibrium with the normalization of the emotional process. A quantification of the disturbance occurs and through a bio- sensory feedback, visual and tactile modulates up to achieve equilibrium.
In Figure 2 it is shown a diagnostic kit 110, for analyzing and reconstructing parameters related to emotional aspects of a person, comprising at least tool 111 for the 2D representation of images transposed by an emotional manifestation of the person, at least a computer 112 for the 3D reconstruction of the 2D images and at least one 3D printer 113 for the materialization of a 3D object starting from the 3D reconstruction of the 2D images.
According to an aspect of the invention, a tool 111 for
2D representation is an illuminated drawing board.
According to an aspect of the invention, a tool 111 for 2D representation is a chromatic light projector.
According to an aspect of the invention, a tool 111 for 2D representation is a "bio-feedback" of skin conductance.
Therefore, the method for analyzing and reconstructing parameters related to emotional aspects of a person and related diagnostic kit according to the invention, allow to realize a 3D object that represents the disturbing emotional elements of the person, emerged with the stimulation, and to quickly intercept the cognitive and emotional state of a person .
Another advantage of the method for analyzing and reconstructing parameters related to emotional aspects of a person and of the related diagnostic kit according to the invention, is that they can be used in several areas: education, psychotherapeutic, education, rehabilitation, social, literary, psychiatric.
Finally, the method for analyzing and reconstructing parameters related to emotional aspects of a person and of the related diagnostic kit according to the invention, has simple application.
Finally, it is clear that the method for analyzing and reconstructing parameters related to emotional aspects of a person and the related diagnostic kit described and illustrated herein can be modified and varied without departing from the protective scope of the present invention, as defined in the appended claims.
