Abstract

The invention relates to a plastic container for washing and disinfecting foods, which is formed by eight different elements. The container has three functions: washing the food by placing the lower cover in hermetic mode and closing same, placing the food in the container, introducing water, placing the upper cover in hermetic mode and sealing same, to subsequently shake the container, then placing the upper cover in ventilation mode and opening the lower cover to drain the dirty liquid; rinsing the food by placing the lower cover in hermetic mode and closing same, placing the food in the container, introducing water, placing the upper cover in hermetic mode and closing same, to subsequently shake the container, then placing the upper cover in ventilation mode and opening the lower cover to drain the liquid with some dirty residue; disinfecting the food by placing the lower cover in hermetic mode and closing same, placing the food in the container, introducing water and the user's preferred disinfectant, placing the upper cover in hermetic mode and closing same, to subsequently shake the container, waiting the time determined by the disinfectant, then placing the upper cover in ventilation mode and opening the lower cover to drain the liquid. Some foods require a good hermetic seal which is achieved by placing the covers in the hermetic sealing position and closing same. For foods that require ventilation to increase the shelf life thereof, the covers can be placed in the ventilation position and rotated as far as the cord permits, thus allowing air to pass through the food.
