Background of invention with regard to the drawback associated with known art:-
• Currently there is no real-time automated monitoring mechanism available in the hospitals, clinics or patient's homes to remotely view and monitor IV fluid supplies to the patients and also to show its usage patterns. Similarly there is no real time automated monitoring mechanism available in the hospitals, clinics and patient's homes to remotely view and monitor Oxygen administrations / supply to the patients. With this invention, these fluids and Oxygen supplies to the patients and its usages in the hospitals can be made viewable real time from the internet, hospital information computer systems and also from mobile phones and tabs by using secured web applications.
Daily usage and usage pattern of these fluids and oxygen are currently not monitored and reported in an effective and accurate way in to the hospital information systems.
In most of the hospitals, when there is IV fluids supplied to the patients, normally patient's relatives or care takers need to go to the nursing station frequently and inform the duty nurse that, the fluid level in the IV bag is getting low and needs to be re-filled or to be stopped or removed. Ward nurses need to physically go to the patient's bed frequently to see and understand the level of IV fluid remaining in the IV bags and adjust the same accordingly. A lot of time, labor, money is spent additionally on this process.
By understanding of facts and circumstances that surround above mentioned situations at hospitals, clinics and also homes, an idea lead to the invention of intelligent (smart) IV appliance and of intelligent (smart) Oxygen stand appliance got evolved.

Intelligent (Smart) patient cots in the hospitals and clinics will allow doctors and nurses to monitor patient's movements, restlessness, and time of availability and unavailability of the patients from the Hospital information software, web applications from their cell phones, tabs or thru www web link in any computers anywhere in the world. These Intelligent (Smart) patient cots can be utilized in patient's home as well for the relatives to monitor the patient's movements, restlessness, and time of availability and unavailability in the bed by using web applications.
This appliance can generate various ad-hoc and historical reports with various parameters on the patient's movement details, availability and unavailability, number of times patient moved out from the bed etc.
Summary of invention:-
• Intelligent (Smart) Intravenous stands will allow nurses and home nurses to monitor their
patient's real time reducing level of IV fluid supply from the computer in the nursing station, home computers and also from their mobile phones by using the web applications. Similarly doctors from their clinics, hospitals and home will be able to monitor their patient's real time reducing level of IV fluid supply from their computers and also from their mobile phones by using the web application. For patients at home, home nurses and patient's relatives will be able to monitor the real time reducing level of IV fluids in the IV bags virtually on the computers and also from their mobile phones by using the web applications.
Intelligent (Smart) Intravenous stands will timely alert doctors, nurses and home nurses by sending SMS / Emails about the status and levels of the IV fluids supplied to the patients.
Doctors, nurses and patient's relatives from their computers and from their Cell phone applications will be able to virtually monitor the real time level of IV fluids supplied to the patients. Software application provides virtual screen of the details of IV fluids and real time status of the level of fluids administered to the patients. This appliance will alert users when the fluid level in the IV bag is below 25% or at any value of percentage specified / configured into the appliance. This appliance can generate various ad-hoc and historical reports with various parameters on the IV fluids administered to the patients.
• Intelligent (Smart) Oxygen stands will allow nurses to monitor real time levels of Oxygen
available in the cylinder from the computer in the nursing station and also from their mobile phones by using the web application. Similarly doctors from their clinics / hospitals and their homes will be able to monitor the level of Oxygen in the cylinders from their computer and also from their mobile phones by using the web application. For patients at home, home nurses and patient's relatives will be able to monitor the real time reducing level of oxygen in the cylinder from the computer and also from their mobile phones by using the web application.
Intelligent (Smart) Oxygen stands will timely alert doctors / nurses and home nurses by sending SMS / Emails about the status and levels of the Oxygen existing in the cylinder and supplied to the patients. Doctors, nurses and patient's relatives from their computers and from their Cell phone applications will be able to monitor the real time level of Oxygen supplied to the patients and reducing level of Oxygen in the cylinders virtually. Software application provides virtual screen of the Oxygen administered to the patients and also reducing level of Oxygen in the cylinders. Also system will alert them when Oxygen level in the Cylinder is below 25% or at any value of percentage specified by them. This appliance can generate various ad-hoc and historical reports with various parameters on the Oxygen administered to the patients.
• Intelligent (Smart) cooking gas stands at homes, kitchens of Star hotels of different ranking, fast food retailers , centralized kitchens, kitchens of catering service providers , hospitals etc. will allow customers to monitor the real time usage of the cooking gas virtually from the computers anywhere in the world and also from their cell phones. Software application provides virtual screen of the usage of cooking gas and also reducing level of the same. Also this system will alert them when cooking gas level in the Cylinder is below 25% or at any value threshold of percentage specified by the user. This appliance can generate various ad-hoc and historical reports with various parameters on the usage of cooking gas.
• Intelligent (Smart) patient cots will allow doctors and nurses to monitor patient's movements, restlessness, and time of availability and unavailability on the beds etc. from the hospital or clinic computer work stations, their cell phones, tablets or from www web link from anywhere in the world. This appliance can generate various ad-hoc and historical reports with various parameters on the patient's movement details, availability and unavailability, number of times patient moved out from the bed etc.

Intelligent (Smart) IV stand and intelligent (Smart) Oxygen stand appliances can be used in the hospitals, clinics and also at patient's home which will allow doctors, nurses, home nurses and patient's relatives to monitor the Oxygen and IV administration to the patients from internet by using the computers, tabs and mobiles phones. Most importantly, these appliances will allow tracking down and achieving effective usage of the fluids and oxygen supplied to the patients and help maintain the accurate inventory. Access to historic data and reports of the consumption / usage of the fluids and oxygen and also trend analysis will allow hospitals to remediate the discrepancies and avoid improper and excessive usages and wastages.
Intelligent (Smart) cooking gas stand appliance can be used in home kitchens, star hotels of different ranking, hotels, fast food retailers, centralized kitchens, kitchens of Catering service providers and canteens of institutions etc. which will allow users to monitor the real time level of cooking gas usage via internet by using the computers and mobiles phones. Most importantly, these appliances will allow tracking down and achieving effective usage of the cooking gas to prepare the food and help maintain the accurate inventory for the hotels and centralized kitchens etc.. Access to historic data and reports of the consumption / usage of the cooking gas and trend analysis will allow hotel administration to remediate the discrepancies and avoid improper and excessive usages and wastages and thefts.
Intelligent (Smart) patient cots can be used in the hospitals, clinics and also at patient's home which will allow doctors, nurses, home nurses and patient's relatives to monitor the patient's movements, restlessness, and time of availability and unavailability on the beds etc from the internet using computers, tabs and mobile phones. Users can generate various reports on patient's movements and time of availability and unavailability which will help doctors in their treatments.
These Intelligent appliances comprise of wireless / wired load Sensors and controller card with Wi-Fi and Ethernet modules talking to the external world in a secured way. Control board and load Sensors (Wireless / wired) on these appliances communicate, capture and store the real time and historical data and then communicates it to the users in the internet / mobile by using GSM module and or Ethernet / Wi-Fi modules by using industry standard encryption protocols. When quantity of IV, Oxygen and cooking gas gets reduced from the defined levels, appliances will automatically send email and SMS to the users efficiently. These appliances allow remote monitoring by allowing the users to view a virtual screen of the real time usage of the items and also provides customized reporting features in web applications and mobile applications from anywhere in the world.
• Web applications and mobile apps which are designed to use securely from web and also from the mobile phones will process the timely refreshed data existing in the database of these appliances and provide a user friendly secured application interface to the end users to view these appliances virtually. Users can login to the application with their user id and password and access their appliances from the user friendly front end provided by the application. Instrumentation and Electronics domains:-
Key devices / components involved are wireless / wired load Sensors and controller board with Wi-Fi and Ethernet modules. Wireless / wired load / pressure Sensors measure the weight of the items placed on the appliances and it communicates series of data to the controller board. Mother board of the controller card has an algorithm to convert the load information to digital signals and further process and send the data internally to the internal database. Web applications will fetch the data from the internal databases and allow users to view, track virtually from computers, cell phones and tabs.
These domains will provide employment opportunities for Technicians, Electronic engineers and IT engineers to a wide extend.
Network, IT infrastructure, Application and Database domains:-
Control board from Cabinets encrypts the data and communicates to the internet through Wide area network. Appropriate routing, configuration to be performed to & fro communication between control board and internet. This will have required applications, tools, web components, Databases installed and configured to further process the data received from the sensors. These domains will employ engineers, system admins, system analysts, application developers, database administrators, team leads and managers.
R&D:-
Provides an R&D scope for, the product enhancements, to carry out research on applying this appliance in various other consumable durable and other segments / domains and also to carry out research and further invent new products and services and enhancements to be provided in the market. This domain provides employment opportunities for R&D engineers, team leads and managers.

Claims

I claim
1. Intelligent (Smart) IV stands, intelligent (Smart) Oxygen stands and intelligent (Smart) cooking gas stands comprising: wireless / wired load Sensors, controller board / card with Wi-Fi and Ethernet modules where in, load / pressure sensors measure the weight of the fluids in IV bags, similarly oxygen and cooking gas in the cylinders and then communicates the real time data from sensors to the controller board.
2. Intelligent (Smart) IV stands, intelligent (Smart) Oxygen stands and intelligent (Smart) cooking gas stands according to claim 1, where in mother board of the controller card has an algorithm to convert the weight / load information received from the wireless / wired load sensors and it further calculates into 75 %, 50 % and 25 % formats based on the real time pressure / load applied to or pulled from the appliances and it uploads the data into the internal database of the appliances and further allows web application to query and display the real time data virtually from computers, mobile phones and tabs securely from anywhere in the world.

Intelligent (Smart) IV stands, intelligent (Smart) Oxygen stands and intelligent (Smart) cooking gas stands according to claim 1, sends SMS alerts to the customer's mobile number (s) about the details of the real time usage of fluids in IV bags, Oxygen in the cylinder and similarly cooking gas usage and it also provides the functionality to send email to the users so that they will be able to remove / re-fill the items in a timely manner.

Intelligent (Smart) IV stands, intelligent (Smart) Oxygen stands and intelligent (Smart) cooking gas stands according to claim 1, where in controller board by using Wi-Fi or Ethernet modules, sends the real time data such as home id/ hospital id, customer id / patient id, appliance id, varying real time usage of data, expiry date of the items placed on the appliances etc. from the internal database of the appliances to the users in the internet / mobile (web applications) in a secured way by using industry standard encryption methodologies.
5. Intelligent (Smart) cot (patient's) comprising: wireless / wired load Sensors, controller board / card with Wi-Fi and Ethernet modules where in, wireless / wired load Sensors measure the movements, availability and non availability of patients in their beds and communicates the data from Sensors to the controller board of the appliance and further allows web applications to track and monitor its real time data virtually from anywhere in the world in a secured way.
6. Control board of Intelligent (Smart) patient cot sends SMS alerts to the user's mobile number (s) about the details of the patient's movement, movement history, availability and non availability of patients in their beds.

Intelligent (Smart) patient cot appliance will allow doctors, nurses, patient's relatives at home to track and monitor patient's movements, restlessness, and time of availability and unavailability of the patients in their beds real time by using web applications from their cell phones, tabs or thru www web link in any computers anywhere in the world.
8. Intelligent (Smart) IV stand, intelligent (Smart) Oxygen stand, intelligent (Smart) cooking gas stands and Intelligent (Smart) cot (patient's) appliances provide a user friendly secured web application interface to the end users from any computer, mobile phones and tabs to view and track the real time streaming of data virtually from the internal database of the appliances.

Customers will be provided with a customer id, user id and password to authenticate into the secured web application to view the real time data from Intelligent (Smart) IV stand, intelligent (Smart) Oxygen stand, intelligent (Smart) cooking gas stands and Intelligent (Smart) patient cot appliances

Web application software on Intelligent (Smart) IV stand, intelligent (Smart) Oxygen stand, intelligent (Smart) cooking gas stand and Intelligent (Smart) patient cot appliances has the capability to send automated emails and SMS alerts to the end users and also users from the web applications can generate various customized reports by using the real time and historical data from these appliances.
11. Controller card of Intelligent (Smart) IV stand, intelligent (Smart) Oxygen stand, intelligent (Smart) cooking gas stands and Intelligent (Smart) patient cot appliances are capable of integrating and processing data from many sensors at a time.
12. Intelligent (Smart) IV stand, intelligent (Smart) Oxygen stand, intelligent (Smart) cooking gas stands and Intelligent (Smart) patient cot appliances are built in with an inverter system to facilitate when there is power outage.
