Abstract

The present invention relates to a carrier device for carrying a carrier bag, such as a shopping bag, provided with a carrier member such as a handle or a carrier strap or a pair thereof, the carrier device comprising: - a main body for placing on a luggage carrier of preferably a cycle, - a hook-around member arranged on a side of the main body for hooking around a respective side of the luggage carrier; - a primary hook-on member for hooking the carrier member thereon, wherein: - the primary hook-on member is arranged on substantially a respective opposite side of the main body relative to the hook-around member so that a hooked-on carrier bag holds the hook-around member hooked around the respective side of the luggage carrier under the influence of gravitational force.
