Description

電力制御システム 関連出願の相互参照
 本出願は、2015年5月22日に出願された日本出願番号2015-104194号に基づくもので、ここにその記載内容を援用する。
 本開示は、電動車両に備えられた複数の電力消費機器に対する電力供給を行う電力制御システムに関する。
 近年、高電圧バッテリーに蓄えられた電力により走行する電動車両の普及が始まっている。電動車両は、高電圧バッテリーに蓄えられた電力によって回転電機を駆動させ、当該回転電機の駆動力によって走行するものである。このような電動車両には、回転電機の駆動力のみによって走行するものの他、回転電機の駆動力と内燃機関の駆動力とによって走行するもの、すなわち、所謂ハイブリッド車両も含まれる。
 電動車両には、上記の回転電機以外にも、高電圧バッテリーからの電力により動作する機器(以下、これらをまとめて「電力消費機器」と表記する)が複数備えられることが多い。電力消費機器としては、例えば、エアコンシステムの一部である電動圧縮機や、電力変換を行うDC/DCコンバータ等が挙げられる。
 高電圧バッテリーは、比較的大きな電力を出力し得るものである。しかしながら、例えば車両の急加速が行われ、回転電機における消費電力が一時的に増加したときなどにおいては、他の電力消費機器の全てに対して要求通りの電力を出力することができなくなってしまう場合がある。このような場合には、一部の電力消費機器で消費される電力を制限し、他の機器(回転電機等)に優先的に電力の供給を行うような制御がなされる。
 例えば、下記特許文献1に記載された電動圧縮機制御システムにおいては、電動圧縮機の制御を行う圧縮機電子ユニットが、上位電子ユニットから送信される電力上限値に基づいて電動圧縮機の回転数を抑制し、これにより電動圧縮機で消費される電力を制限している。

 しかしながら、電力消費機器で消費される電力が制限された場合には、電力消費機器の状態が不安定となってしまい、その動作が停止してしまうことがある。また、これに伴って、電力消費機器を含むシステム全体の状態が不安定となってしまったり、停止してしまったりすることもある。
 例えば、空調システムに含まれる電動圧縮機において、消費される電力の制限が短時間で急激に行われてしまった場合には、電動圧縮機を通過する冷媒が大きく脈動してしまったり、冷媒の圧力が急激に低下してしまったりすることにより、空調システム全体の動作が不安定となってしまう可能性がある。その結果、空調システムの再起動が必要になり、車室内の気温が不快なものとなってしまうことがある。
 本開示の目的は、少なくとも一部の電力消費機器で消費される電力の制限を適切に行うことにより、当該電力消費機器の動作が安定している状態を維持しながら、複数の電力消費機器に対する電力の配分を適切に行うことのできる電力制御システムを提供することにある。
 上記課題を解決するために、本開示の一つの観点にそって、電動車両に備えられた複数の電力消費機器に対する電力供給を行う電力制御システムは次のように提供される。電力の供給源である高電圧バッテリーと、電力消費機器のそれぞれに設けられ、当該電力消費機器の動作を制御する複数の機器制御装置と、その複数の機器制御装置を統括制御する統括制御装置と、を備え、機器制御装置のうち少なくとも一つは、制御対象である電力消費機器の動作が安定している状態を維持しながら、且つ、当該電力消費機器の消費電力が、統括制御装置から割り当てられた電力範囲内に収まるように、当該電力消費機器で消費される電力を制限する電力制限処理を行う。
 このような電力制御システムにおいては、機器制御装置は、統括制御装置から割り当てられた電力範囲内に収まるように、電力消費機器で消費される電力を制限する電力制限処理を行う。このとき、統括制御装置からの指示通りとなるように単に消費電力が抑制されるのではなく、電力消費機器の動作が安定している状態が維持されるよう、適切な態様(例えば消費電力を段階的に減少させる等)において電力の抑制が行われる。
 本開示についての上記目的およびその他の目的、特徴や利点は、添付の図面を参照しながら下記の詳細な記述により、より明確になる。

 以下、添付図面を参照しながら本開示の実施形態について説明する。説明の理解を容易にするため、各図面において同一の構成要素に対しては可能な限り同一の符号を付して、重複する説明は省略する。
 <第1実施形態>
 図1乃至3を参照しながら、本開示の第1実施形態に係る電力制御システム10の構成について説明する。電力制御システム10は、不図示の電動車両に備えられた複数の電力消費機器200、300、400、500のそれぞれに対する電力供給を行うためのシステムとして構成されている。
 図1に模式的に示されるように、当該電動車両には、メインECU100と、高電圧バッテリー110と、4台の電力消費機器200、300、400、500とが搭載されている。
 高電圧バッテリー110は、電動車両に備えられた回転電機(不図示)に電力を供給するための蓄電池である。また、高電圧バッテリー110は、電力消費機器200、300、400、500のそれぞれに対しても駆動用の電力を供給する。それぞれに供給される電力の最大値、すなわち使用可能な電力範囲の割り当て(以下、「電力割り当て」と表記する)は、メインECU100により決定される。
 電力消費機器200、300、400、500は、いずれも、高電圧バッテリー110からの電力の供給を受けて動作する機器である。例えば、電力消費機器200は、空調システム700(図3)の一部である電動圧縮機として構成されている。
 電力消費機器200、300、400、500(以下、これらを総じて「電力消費機器200等」とも表記する)のそれぞれには、その動作を制御するためのサブECU210、310、410、510(以下、これらを総じて「サブECU210等」とも表記する)が搭載されている。サブECU210等は、メインECU100と通信を行いながら、それぞれ電力消費機器200等の動作を制御する。また、電力消費機器200等における消費電力が上記の電力割り当てを超えないように、消費電力を抑制する処理(電力制限処理。以下では「電力制限」とも表記する)をも行う。サブECU210等は、機器制御装置とも言及される。
 メインECU100は、電力制御システム10の全体を管理する制御装置として構成されている。メインECU100は、サブECU210、310、410、510のそれぞれと通信を行い、これらを統括制御するものである。具体的な制御の内容については後に説明する。メインECU100は、統括制御装置とも言及される。
 尚、メインECU100は、図1に示されるように高電圧バッテリー110や電力消費機器200、300、400、500とは別体の装置として構成されていてもよいのであるが、高電圧バッテリー110等と一体の装置として構成されていてもよい。また、メインECU100が、電力制御システム10の制御に加えて、電動車両全体の制御をも行う制御装置として構成されていてもよい。
 図2を参照しながら、電力消費機器200の具体的な構成について説明する。尚、他の電力消費機器300、400、500の構成については、電力消費機器200と同様のものとすることができる。このため、これらの構成についての説明は省略する。
 電動圧縮機として構成された電力消費機器200は、既に述べたサブECU210の他、圧縮部220と、電動機230と、電力変換部240と、駆動ドライバ250と、を備えている。また、サブECU210は、上位制御部211と下位制御部212とを有している。
 圧縮部220は、空調システム700(図3)において冷媒を圧縮して循環させるためのポンプとして機能する部分である。圧縮部220は、次に説明する電動機230によって駆動される。
 電動機230は、U相、V相、W相の3相からなる交流電力の供給を受けて動作する回転電機である。電動機230の出力軸231は圧縮部220に接続されている。電動機230に3相交流電力が供給されると、電動機230の駆動力が出力軸231を介して圧縮部220に伝達され、圧縮部220が駆動される。
 電力変換部240は、高電圧バッテリー110から供給される直流電力を交流電力に変換し、これを電動機230に供給するための3相フルブリッジインバータ回路として構成された部分である。電力変換部240には、IGBTと還流ダイオードとから構成されたスイッチング素子241が6つ搭載されており、これらによって3つの上アームと3つの下アームとが構成されている。これらが行うスイッチング動作のデューティにより、電動機230に供給される3相交流電力の大きさが調整される。
 駆動ドライバ250は、電力変換部240の動作を制御するためのドライバである。駆動ドライバ250は、サブECU210からの制御信号に基づいてスイッチング素子241にスイッチング動作を行わせ、これにより電動機230に供給される3相交流電力の大きさを調整する。また、ハード過電圧の信号を電力変換部240に送信し、電力変換部240の動作を停止させる処理も行う。
 高電圧バッテリー110と電力変換部240との間には、リレーシステム120が設けられている。リレーシステム120は、3つのリレー121、122、123と、保護抵抗124とを有している。リレー121、122、123の開閉動作により、高電圧バッテリー110と電力変換部240との間における電力の供給及び遮断が切り換えられる。
 高電圧バッテリー110からの電力の供給が開始される際には、先ず、リレー121は開状態のままで、リレー122とリレー123とが閉状態とされる。このとき、高電圧バッテリー110からの電力は保護抵抗124を通ることになるので、高電圧の印加に伴う過剰な突入電流の発生が抑制される。その後、リレー121が閉状態とされ、リレー122が開状態とされる。リレー121、122、123の開閉動作は、メインECU100により制御される。電力制御システム10で何らかの異常が生じた際には、リレー121、122、123が開状態とされ、高電圧バッテリー110からの電力の供給が遮断される。
 リレーシステム120と電力変換部240との間には、コンデンサ261、262、及びコイル263からなる平滑回路が設けられている。当該平滑回路により、電力変換部240に入力される直流電力が平滑化される。
 コンデンサ261の近傍には電圧計264が設けられている。電圧計264は、コンデンサ261の両端に印加されている電圧、すなわち、電力変換部240に入力されている直流電力の電圧を測定するためのものである。電圧計264により計測された電圧値は駆動ドライバ250に入力される。また、駆動ドライバ250を経由してサブECU210にも入力される。
 電力変換部240の出力部、すなわち、電力変換部240と電動機230との間には、電流計265が設けられている。電流計265は、電力変換部240から電動機230に供給される3相交流電力の電流値を測定するためのものである。電流計265により計測された電流値はサブECU210に入力される。
 電力消費機器200以外の電力消費機器300、400、500は、電力消費機器200と共に互いに並列となるように高電圧バッテリー110に接続されている。図2においては電力消費機器300のみが図示されているが、他の電力消費機器400、500も同様に並列接続されている。
 上位制御部211及び下位制御部212は、それぞれ、互いに独立した周期で演算処理を行うことが可能なマイコンとして構成された部分である。上位制御部211は、メインECU100との間で通信が行われる際のインターフェースとして機能する。また、上位制御部211は、下位制御部212に制御信号を送信することにより、間接的に駆動ドライバ250の制御(電動機230や圧縮部220の制御ともいえる)を行うことが可能となっている。
 上位制御部211は、メインECU100との通信や電力消費機器200の全体の制御をも行うものであるから、上位制御部211によって行われる処理は、比較的長い周期で実行される処理となっている。
 下位制御部212は、上記のように、上位制御部211から送信される制御信号に基づいて駆動ドライバ250の制御を行うものである。下位制御部212によって行われる処理は、比較的短い周期で実行される処理となっている。
 図3を参照しながら、空調システム700の構成について説明する。空調システム700では、電動圧縮機である電力消費機器200の他、コンデンサ710、膨張弁720、エバポレータ730を備えた所謂冷凍サイクルが構成されている。
 高電圧バッテリー110から供給される電力により、電力消費機器200の圧縮部220が駆動されると、冷凍サイクルを冷媒が循環する。コンデンサ710では、ファン711により送り込まれる空気と冷媒との間で熱交換が行われ、冷媒が気相から液相へと変化する。
 コンデンサ710から排出された冷媒は、膨張弁720を通過してその圧力を低下させる。その後、冷媒はエバポレータ730へと供給される。
 エバポレータ730では、ブロア731によって送り込まれる空気と冷媒との間で熱交換が行われ、冷媒が液相から再び気相へと変化する。当該熱交換により、空気の熱が冷媒によって回収される。
 図4を参照しながら、メインECU100により行われる制御について説明する。メインECU100は、走行用の回転電機や電力消費機器200等に対し供給される電力を監視している。電動車両の走行状況によっては、回転電機や電力消費機器200等の一部において多くの電力を消費する必要が生じ、高電圧バッテリー110から供給される電力が不足してしまうような事態が生じ得る。
 そこで、メインECU100は、電力消費機器200等のうち優先度の低いものに対して供給される電力を抑制し、必要な電力を確保する処理を行う。具体的には、電力消費機器200等に対する電力割り当てを変更することにより、電力消費機器200等の一部に対し供給される電力の制限を行う。図4には、電力消費機器200に向けて送信される電力割り当ての時間変化の例が複数示されている。尚、他の電力消費機器(300)に送信される電力割り当ての変化も、図4に示されるものと同様である。
 図4の(A)に示される例では、時刻t10において電力制限が開始され、同時刻において電力割り当て(電力消費機器200で消費が許される電力の最大値)が値P10から0へと変更されている。つまり、電力が即時カットされている。その後の時刻t20では電力制限が解除され、同時刻において電力割り当てが0から値P10へと戻されている。つまり、電力制限が即時解除されている。
 図4の(B)に示される例では、時刻t10において電力制限が開始された後、値P10から所定の傾きをもって電力割り当てが減少して行き、時刻t11において0とされている。また、電力制限の解除も所定の傾きをもって緩やかに行われ、時刻t20の後の時刻t21において元の値P10に戻されている。
 図4の(C)に示される例では、時刻t10において電力制限が開始された後、値P10から所定の傾きをもって電力割り当てが減少して行く。時刻t15において電力割り当てが値P05となった後、しばらくの間一定に維持される。その後、時刻t20以降において再び所定の傾きをもって電力割り当てが減少して行き、時刻t25において0とされている。このように、電力割り当てを段階的に変化させる場合もある。電力制限の解除は、時刻t30から所定の傾きをもって緩やかに行われ、時刻t30の後の時刻t31において元の値P10に戻されている。
 図4の(D)に示される例では、図4の(A)の例と同様に電力制限が即時行われるのであるが、制限中における電力割り当ての値が0ではなく、0よりも大きな値P08とされている。また、制限中における電力割り当ての値は値P08に固定される必要はなく、状況によっては、図4の(E)のように値P08とは異なる値P04とされてもよい。
 以上のように、電力制限が行われる状況によって、メインECU100から電力消費機器200に送信される電力割り当ての変化は様々である。図4に示されるのはあくまで例であって、電力割り当てが他パターンで変化するような態様であってもよい。メインECU100からの電力割り当てが変化すると、これを受信したサブECU210等は、実際の消費電力の変化が電力割り当ての変化と概ね一致するように、自らが搭載された電力消費機器200等の動作を制御する。
 サブECU210によって行われる電力制限(消費電力の抑制)について説明する。まず、本開示の比較例、すなわち、サブECU210で行われるものとは異なる態様で電力制限が行われた場合の例について、図15を参照しながら説明する。尚、当該比較例における機器の構成自体は、図1乃至3に示されるものと同一であるとする。
 図15の(A)に示されるのは、メインECU100から電力消費機器200に向けて送信される電力割り当ての時間変化の例である。図15の(B)に示されるのは、電力割り当てが図15の(A)のように変化し、これに対応して従来の電力制限が行われた際における、電力消費機器200の消費電力の時間変化である。図15の(C)に示されるのは、空調システム700の一部である電力消費機器200の消費電力が図15の(B)のように変化した際における、空調システムの吹き出し温度の変化である。
 図15の(A)に示されるように、この例では時刻t10において電力制限が開始された後、値P10から所定の傾きをもって電力割り当てが減少して行き、時刻t15において値P05とされている。また、電力制限の解除も、時刻t20以降において所定の傾きをもって緩やかに行われ、時刻t20の後の時刻t25において元の値P10に戻されている。
 この例では、電力割り当てが値P10から値P05へと変更されることに対応するために、電力消費機器200では、時刻t10の時点で消費電力を値P05まで一気に減少させる制御が行われている。
 しかしながら、消費電力の急激な減少に伴って圧縮部220の動作が不安定なものとなってしまい、圧縮部220における圧力変動を伴う駆動を正常に制御継続できず、空調システム700の動作も不安定なものとなってしまっている。その結果、図15の(B)に示されるように、電力消費機器200では電力制限を適切に実行することができておらず、消費電力が(目標値である値P05よりも低い)0まで落ちてしまっている。
 また、時刻t20以降においては電力制限が解除されるのであるが、再起動に時間がかかってしまうので、電力消費機器200の立ち上げや空調システム700の動作開始は、時刻t20よりも後の時刻t30で行われている。
 つまり、時刻t10から時刻t30までの期間においては、空調システム700が動作(この例では暖房)を停止した状態となっている。このため、図15の(C)に示されるように、当該期間では車室内の温度が大きく低下しており、乗員に不快な思いをさせてしまうこととなる。
 このように、メインECU100からの電力割り当てが変化した際、常に同じ電力制限を実行することにより消費電力を変化させるだけでは、電力消費機器200や空調システム700の動作が不安定となってしまう可能性がある。そこで、本実施形態においては、電力消費機器200に搭載されたサブECU210が、電力制限の態様(消費電力の変化の傾きや目標値など)を適切なものとすることにより、機器やシステムの動作が安定している状態を維持している。
 本実施形態で行われる制御の一例について、図5を参照しながら説明する。図5の(A)に示されるのは、メインECU100から電力消費機器200に向けて送信される電力割り当ての時間変化の例であって、図15の(A)に示されるものと同一である。図5の(B)に示されるのは、本実施形態の電力制限が行われた場合における、電力消費機器200の消費電力の時間変化である。図5の(C)に示されるのは車室内の温度の変化である。
 図5の(B)に示されるように、電力制限が開始された時刻t10以降、消費電力は所定の傾きをもって減少して行き、時刻t11において値P06となっている。その後、しばらくの間は値P06のまま一定に維持されており、時刻t11よりも後の時刻t12において再び減少し始める。消費電力は、その後の時刻t15において値P05となっている。
 このように、サブECU210は、消費電力の変化(図5の(B))を電力割り当ての変化(図5の(A))に概ね一致させながらも、圧縮部220等の動作の安定を優先し、一部に変更を加えた態様で消費電力を変化させている。その結果、図15の(B)のように消費電力が0まで落ちてしまうようなことはなく、メインECU100から送信された電力割り当ての通りに消費電力が抑制されている。また、時刻t10から時刻t20までの期間においては空調システム700の動作が制限されるのであるが、時刻t20以降においては直ちに通常の動作に戻される。このため、図5の(C)に示されるように車室内の気温は僅かにしか低下せず、車室内は快適な状態に保たれる。
 尚、圧縮部220等の動作の安定を優先するための消費電力の変化の態様は、図5の(B)に示されるものに限られない。電力制限の目的や電動車両の走行状況に応じ、適切な態様で消費電力を変化させることが望ましい。
 例えば、時刻t10以降における消費電力の変化の傾きは、図5の(B)の例のように電力割り当ての変化の傾きよりも急であってもよく、緩やかであってもよい。また、消費電力を段階的に変化させなくても圧縮部220等の動作の安定が保たれるのであれば、値P10から値P05まで一定の傾きで変化させる態様であってもよい。
 また、図5の(B)の例では、電力制限が時刻t20において解除された後、消費電力は所定の傾きをもって緩やか増加し、時刻t20の後の時刻t21において元の値P10に戻されている。また、その際の変化の傾きは、電力割り当てが戻される際の傾き(図5の(A))よりも急になっている。電力制限の解除の態様も、図5の(B)に示されるようなものに限定されず、段階的に増加させるなど種々の態様を採用し得る。
 図6を参照しながら、メインECU100によって行われる処理について説明する。図6に示される一連の処理は、所定の周期が経過する毎に繰り返し実行されている。
 記載されるフローチャートは、複数のセクション(あるいはステップと言及される)を含み、各セクションは、たとえば、S01と表現される。さらに、各セクションは、複数のサブセクションに分割されることができる、一方、複数のセクションが合わさって一つのセクションにすることも可能である。各セクションは、デバイス、モジュール、あるいは、固有名として、例えば、検出セクションは、検出デバイス、検出モジュール、ディテクタとして、言及されることができる。また、セクションは、(i)ハードウエアユニット(例えば、コンピュータ)と組み合わさったソフトウエアのセクションのみならず、(ii)ハードウエア(例えば、集積回路、配線論理回路)のセクションとして、関連する装置の機能を含みあるいは含まずに実現できる。さらに、ハードウエアのセクションは、マイクロコンピュータの内部に含まれることもできる。
 S01では、高電圧バッテリー110から供給可能電力が取得される。供給可能電力は、高電圧バッテリー110から出力することが可能な電力の最大値であって、高電圧バッテリー110の状態(SOC等)に基づいて算出されるものである。
 S02では、電力消費機器200等のそれぞれが要求する電力(要求電力)が取得される。S03では、S02で取得された要求電力に基づいて、電力消費機器200等のそれぞれに対する電力割り当てが算出される。
 S04では、高電圧バッテリー110から電力消費機器200等のそれぞれに供給される電力が不足するか否かが判定される。具体的には、走行用の回転電機で消費される電力と、電力消費機器200等の各要求電力との合計が、S01で取得された供給可能電力を超えているか否かが判定される。供給可能電力を超えていない場合、すなわち、高電圧バッテリー110から出力される電力で全ての要求電力を賄える場合には、S05に移行する。供給可能電力を超えている場合、すなわち、高電圧バッテリー110から出力される電力が不足する場合には、S06に移行する。
 S05に移行した場合には、電力制限は行われず、通常の運転が行われる。すなわち、電力消費機器200等のそれぞれに対し、要求電力通りの電力が高電圧バッテリー110から出力される。S06に移行した場合には、図5を参照しながら説明したような電力制限が行われる。
 図7を参照しながら、サブECU210によって行われる処理について説明する。図7に示される一連の処理は、所定の周期が経過する毎に繰り返し実行されている。
 S11では、メインECU100から制限フラグが取得される。制限フラグとは、電力制限の具体的な態様や処理方法に関する情報が含まれる信号である。制限フラグには、電力制限中における電力割り当ての値や、その変化の傾きが含まれる。また、電力制限の処理を上位制御部211で行うべきか、それとも下位制御部212で行うべきかの指令も含まれる。
 S12では、取得された制限フラグに基づいて、電力制限の処理を上位制御部211で行うか否かが判定される。上位制御部211で行うと判定された場合には、S13に移行する。
 S13では電力制限Aが実行される。サブECU210には、電力制限の態様が、電力を制限する目的に対応して予め複数用意されている。電力制限Aとは、これら複数の態様のうち、上位制御部211で行われるものを総じて示すものである。電力制限Aの中から具体的な制限態様を決定する処理については、図8を参照しながら後に説明する。
 S12において、電力制限の処理を上位制御部211で行うと判定されなかった場合、又は、S13の処理が完了した後には、S14に移行する。S14では、取得された制限フラグに基づいて、電力制限の処理を下位制御部212で行うか否かが判定される。下位制御部212で行うと判定された場合には、S15に移行する。
 S15では電力制限Bが実行される。電力制限Bとは、予め設定されている複数の電力制限の態様(方式)のうち、下位制御部212で行われるものを総じて示すものである。電力制限Bの中から具体的な制限態様を決定する処理については、図8を参照しながら後に説明する電力制限Aの場合の処理と同様である。
 S14において、電力制限の処理を下位制御部212で行うと判定されなかった場合、又は、S15の処理が完了した後には、S16に移行する。S16では、電力制限の解除を行うか否かが判定される。かかる判定は、S11で取得された制限フラグに基づいて行われる。電力制限の解除を行うと判定された場合には、S17に移行する。
 S17では電力制限の解除が行われ、電力消費機器200における消費電力が電力制限前の値に戻される。S16において、電力制限の解除を行わないと判定された場合には、S11以降の処理が再度実行される。
 図8を参照しながら、図7のS13における具体的な処理、すなわち、電力制限Aの中から具体的な制限態様を決定する処理について説明する。尚、図7のS15における具体的な処理はこれと同様であるので、その説明を省略する。
 S21では、メインECU100から制限方式フラグが取得される。制限方式フラグとは、先に述べた制限フラグと同様に、電力制限の具体的な態様や処理方法に関する情報が含まれる信号である。制限方式フラグには、電力制限の態様を決定するために必要となるより具体的な情報が含まれる。制限方式フラグは、制限フラグに統合されていてもよい。
 S22では、メインECU100から現時点における電力割り当ての値が取得される。
 S23では、取得された制限方式フラグ及び電力割り当てに基づいて、電力制限Aの具体的な態様が決定される。本実施形態では、電力制限Aの態様として、制限方式A1から制限方式Anまでのn個の態様が予め設定されている。これらは、例えば電力制限の状態に移行する際における消費電力の変化の傾きや、消費電力の変化の段数等について互いに異なっているものである。S23では、電力割り当てに応じた適切な電力制限の態様が決定される。
 S23で電力制限Aの具体的な態様が決定された後は、当該決定に対応した態様で電力制限が実行される(S24、S25、S26)。これにより、圧縮部220や空調システム700の動作が安定した状態を維持しながら、電力制限が適切に行われる。
 <第2実施形態>
 本開示の第2実施形態について、図9を参照しながら説明する。本実施形態では、電力制限A(又は電力制限B)の具体的な態様を決定するための処理において、第1実施形態と異なっている。第2実施形態で行われる処理は、図8に示される一連の処理を図9に示される一連の処理で置き換えたものである。
 図9に示される一連の処理は、S32、S33、S34の処理を図8に加えたものとなっている。図9に示される処理のうち、S21等、図8に示されるものと同一の処理には、それぞれ同一の符号が付されている。以下では、S32、S33、S34についてのみ説明する。
 S21に続いて行われるS32では、電力制限の方式が判定される。ここでは、電力制限の具体的な態様を示す指令が、制限方式フラグに含まれるか否かが判定される。制限方式フラグに当該指令が含まれていなかった場合には、S22に移行し、これまでに説明したものと同一の処理が行われる。
 電力制限の具体的な態様を示す指令が制限方式フラグに含まれていた場合には、サブECU210は、電力制限の態様を自ら決定するのではなく、メインECU100から指定(強制)された態様で電力制限を行う。本実施形態では、制限方式L1又は制限方式L2という2つの態様が、メインECU100から送信され得る。
 制限方式L1がメインECU100から指定されている場合には、S32からS33に移行し、制限方式L1の態様で電力制限が実行される。制限方式L1は、電力制限の開始と同時に消費電力を即時0とするものである。この場合、圧縮部220等の動作が不安定になってしまう可能性はあるが、メインECU100からの指令通りに電力制限が行われる。
 制限方式L2がメインECU100から指定されている場合には、S32からS34に移行し、制限方式L2の態様で電力制限が実行される。制限方式L1は、電力制限の開始と同時に所定の傾きで消費電力を減少させ、所定値とするものである。当該所定値、及び減少の際の傾きは、いずれもメインECU100からの指令通りの値とされる。
 このように、本実施形態では、電力割合に基づいてサブECU210が電力制限の態様を(自らの判断で)決定するのではなく、メインECU100からの指令通りとなるように電力制限の態様が強制的に決定される場合がある。例えば、急加速のために走行用の電力を確実に確保する必要がある場合には、電力制限の態様がこのように強制的に決定されることとなる。一方、電力確保の緊急性や確実性が求められないような場合には、S22以降の処理(第1実施形態と同じ処理)が実行される。
 <第3実施形態>
 図10を参照しながら、本開示の第3実施形態について説明する。図10の(A)に示されるのは、メインECU100から電力消費機器200に向けて送信される電力割り当ての時間変化である。図10の(B)に示されるのは、電力消費機器200での消費電力の変化である。
 メインECU100から送信される電力割り当ては、通信により所定の周期でサブECU210に伝達される。このため、例えば図5の(A)のように、所定の傾きで電力割り当てを減少させることが難しい場合もある。そこで、本実施形態では、メインECU100から送信される電力割り当ては、図10の(A)のように即時制限及び即時解除の態様とし、サブECU210側で電力制限及びその解除を緩やかな傾きで行うこととしている。このため、図10の(B)の時刻t10から時刻t15までの期間、又は時刻t20から時刻t21までの期間が、通信の周期よりも短いような場合であっても、通信による遅延の影響を受けることなく電力制限を適切に行うことが可能となっている。
 尚、消費電力の変化を図10の(B)のようなものとするための制御、すなわち駆動ドライバ250に対する制御は、サブECU210のうち上位制御部211が行ってもよく、下位制御部212が行ってもよい。例えば、求められる消費電力の変化が比較的遅い場合には、上位制御部211が間接的に駆動ドライバ250の制御を行う。一方、求められる消費電力の変化が比較的速い場合には、下位制御部212が駆動ドライバ250の制御を行う。この場合、上位制御部211は、メインECU100から送信される電力割り当てをそのまま下位制御部212に送信し、下位制御部212が電力制限を実行することとなる。
 サブECU210で行われる電力制限の態様は、図10のような態様に限定されない。例えば、図11に示されるような態様であってもよい。
 図11の(A)に示されるのは、メインECU100から電力消費機器200に向けて送信される電力割り当ての時間変化であり、図10の(A)に示されるものと同一である。このようなメインECU100からの指令(電力割り当て)を受けて、サブECU210が図11の(B)のような段階的な電力制限を行ってもよい。尚、図11の(B)に示される波形は、図5の(B)に示される波形と同一である。この場合も、電力制限は上位制御部211で行われてもよく、下位制御部212で行われてもよい。
 <第4実施形態>
 以上に説明した例では、電力制限中における消費電力の値を、メインECU100から送信された電力割り当てに一致させるような制御が行われている。このような態様に替えて、電力制限中における消費電力の値を、電力割り当てよりも所定のマージン分だけ低い値とするような制御が行われてもよい。このような態様であれば、電力の変動や測定誤差が生じた場合であっても、高電圧バッテリー110から出力される電力が不足してしまうことを確実に防止することができる。
 <第5実施形態>
 電力制限が行われる際に、これに連動して空調システム700の動作状態が変更されることとしてもよい。例えば、電力制限によって圧縮部220の動作が抑制されると、コンデンサ710(図3)に送り込まれる冷媒の流量が低下し、これによりコンデンサ710における内部圧力も低下してしまう。その結果、空調システム700のバランスが崩れてしまい、元の状態に戻るのに時間を要してしまう可能性がある。
 そこで、電力制限が行われる際には、これに連動してファン711の回転数を抑制し、これによりコンデンサ710における冷媒温度を上昇させるような制御が実行されればよい。冷媒温度の上昇に伴い、コンデンサ710における内部圧力の低下が抑制されるので、空調システム700は通常運転時に近い状態で維持される。このため、電力制限が解除された後に、元の状態に速やかに復帰させることが可能となる。
 <第6実施形態>
 上記のように、電力制限に連動して空調システム700の動作状態を制限動作状態に変更した場合においては、その後の電力制限の解除は、空調システム700の運転状態が通常に戻されて、且つその動作が安定した後に行われることが望ましい。空調システム700の動作が安定したことは、例えば、吹き出し温度又は冷媒温度が一定になったかどうかで判定することができる。本実施形態によれば、空調システムの動作の頻繁な変更により乗員に不快感を与えてしまうようなことを防止することができる。
 <第7実施形態>
 空調システム700の構成に応じて、選択され実行される電力制限の態様が変更されることとしてもよい。例えば、空調システムがクーラーシステムとして構成されていた場合と、ヒートポンプシステムで構成されていた場合とで、電力制限の態様が異なることとされてもよい。前者の場合には比較的不安定になりにくいため、消費電力を急激に変化させるような電力制限を行うことができる。後者の場合には、比較的不安定になりやすいため、消費電力を緩やかに変化させるような電力制限が行われることが望ましい。
 <第8実施形態>
 図12を参照しながら、本開示の第8実施形態について説明する。図12の(A)に示されるのは、メインECU100から電力消費機器200に向けて送信される電力割り当ての時間変化である。図12の(B)に示されるのは、電力消費機器200での消費電力の変化である。
 電力制限を行うべき期間(時刻t10から時刻t11まで)が非常に短く、メインECU100とサブECU210との通信周期よりも短いとする。この場合、電力制限を解除するための指令がメインECU100からサブECU210に到達するのは、図12の(A)に示されるように、時刻t11よりも後の時刻t15となってしまう。このため、必要以上に長い期間、電力制限が行われてしまう可能性がある。
 本実施形態では、電力制限が行われる期間の長さは、時刻t10の時点で予めメインECU100からサブECU210に送信される。電力制限が行われる期間が所定の閾値よりも短い場合には、サブECU210は、メインECU100からの指令を待つことなく、上記期間が経過した時点(時刻t11)で電力制限の解除を行う。これにより、非常に短い期間であっても電力制限が適切に実行される。
 <第9実施形態>
 図13を参照しながら、本開示の第9実施形態について説明する。図13の(A)に示されるのは、メインECU100から電力消費機器200に向けて送信される電力割り当ての時間変化である。図13の(B)に示されるのは、電力消費機器200での消費電力の変化である。
 図13の(B)の例では、電力制限が開始された時刻t10から時刻t15までの期間においては、図5の(B)と同様に段階的に消費電力が抑制されている。また、時刻t20以降においては、段階的に消費電力が戻されている。具体的には、時刻t20において電力制限が解除された後、値P05から所定の傾きをもって電力割り当てが増加して行く。時刻t21において電力割り当てが値P06となった後、しばらくの間一定に維持される。その後、時刻t22以降において再び所定の傾きをもって電力割り当てが増加して行き、時刻t23において元の値P10に戻されている。
 本実施形態では、電力制限が行われる前における負荷が大きかった場合には、図13の(B)に示されるように、電力制限の解除が段階的に行われる。これによりハンチング等の発生が抑制されるので、電力制限が解除される際にも圧縮部220や空調システム700の動作の安定が維持される。
 <第10実施形態>
 図14を参照しながら、本開示の第10実施形態について説明する。図14には、サブECU210のうち下位制御部212の構成が模式的に示されている。
 本実施形態に係るサブECU210は、PID制御器212Aと、PI制御器212Bとを有している。これらはいずれも、電力消費機器200で消費される電力の値、すなわち高電圧バッテリー110から電力消費機器200に供給される電力の値を、目標値に一致させるための制御器となっている。
 PID制御器212AとPI制御器212Bとのうち、いずれが使用されるかは、判定部212Cによって判定される。判定部212Cは、電力制限の目的に基づいて適切な方が使用されるように、制御器の切り替えを行う。
 例えば、高電圧バッテリー110のSOCを回復させるという目的で電力制限が行われる場合には、消費電力を急激に変化させる必要はない。このため、判定部212Cは、応答性の低いPI制御器212Bで電力が制御されるように、制御器の切り替えを行う。
 また、例えば電動車両を急加速させるという目的で電力制限が行われる場合には、短時間のうちに消費電力を変化させ、高電圧バッテリー110からの大きな電力を回転電機に供給する必要がある。このため、判定部212Cは、応答性の高いPID制御器212Aで電力が制御されるように、制御器の切り替えを行う。尚、下位制御部212が他の制御器(例えば、H∞制御器)を更に有するような構成であってもよい。
 制御器の切り替えは、例えば電動機230の回転速度指令の傾きや、電力制限が行われる前後における電力の変化量等に基づいて行われてもよい。また、PID制御器212A、PI制御器212B、及び判定部212Cが、下位制御部212だけでなく上位制御部211にも設けられていてもよい。
 尚、制御器を「切り替え」るとは、上記のようにPID制御器212AからPI制御器212Bへと切り替えることの他、例えばPID制御器212Aの比例ゲインを変化させるようなことも含まれる。
 <第11実施形態>
 以上に説明した実施形態では、電力制限の目的に応じた適切な電力の配分となるよう、メインECU100がそれぞれの電力消費機器200等に優先順位をつけて電力割り当てを行っている。このような態様に替えて、電力消費機器200等のそれぞれに搭載されたサブECU210等が、互いに通信を行うことで、電力の配分を決定することとしてもよい。
 この場合、高電圧バッテリー110の供給可能電力から、走行用の回転電機で消費される電力を差し引いて得られる残余の電力が、電力消費機器200等に配分されることとなる。電力配分は、電力消費機器200等の要求電力に基づいて、適切に算出されることが望ましい。
 <第12実施形態>
 電力制限の状態を解除するための電力制限解除処理の態様(例えば、図5の(B)における時刻t20以降の処理)も、電力制限の開始時の態様と同様に、予め複数用意されていることとしてもよい。この場合、電力制限を行った際の目的に応じて、適切な解除の態様が選択され実行されることとすればよい。
 本開示は、実施例に準拠して記述されたが、本開示は当該実施例や構造に限定されるものではないと理解される。本開示は、様々な変形例や均等範囲内の変形をも包含する。加えて、様々な組み合わせや形態、さらには、それらに一要素のみ、それ以上、あるいはそれ以下、を含む他の組み合わせや形態をも、本開示の範疇や思想範囲に入るものである。
 

 

Claims (15)

  1.  電動車両に備えられた複数の電力消費機器(200、300、400、500)に対する電力供給を行う電力制御システム(10)であって、
     電力の供給源である高電圧バッテリー(110)と、
     前記電力消費機器のそれぞれに設けられ、当該電力消費機器の動作を制御する複数の機器制御装置(210,310,410,510)と、
     前記複数の機器制御装置を統括制御する統括制御装置(100)と、を備え、
     前記機器制御装置のうち少なくとも一つは、
     制御対象である前記電力消費機器の動作が安定している状態を維持しながら、且つ、
     当該電力消費機器の消費電力が、前記統括制御装置から割り当てられた電力範囲内に収まるように、当該電力消費機器で消費される電力を制限する電力制限処理を行う
     電力制御システム。
  2.  前記電力制限処理の態様は予め複数用意されており、割り当てられた前記電力範囲に応じて適切な態様が選択され実行される
     請求項1に記載の電力制御システム。
  3.  それぞれの前記電力消費機器の要求電力に基づいて、前記電力範囲の割り当てが調整される
     請求項1に記載の電力制御システム。
  4.  電力を制限する目的に応じた適切な電力の配分となるように、
     前記統括制御装置が、前記機器制御装置毎に優先順位をつけて前記電力範囲を割り当てる
     請求項1に記載の電力制御システム。
  5.  前記電力制限処理の態様は、電力を制限する目的に対応して予め定められている
     請求項2に記載の電力制御システム。
  6.  前記電力制限処理を行うように構成された前記機器制御装置のうち少なくとも一つは、比較的処理周期の長い上位制御部(211)と、比較的処理周期の短い下位制御部(212)と、を有しており、
     前記電力制限処理は前記上位制御部が行うように構成されている
     請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の電力制御システム。
  7.  前記電力制限処理を行うように構成された前記機器制御装置のうち少なくとも一つは、比較的処理周期の長い上位制御部と、比較的処理周期の短い下位制御部と、を有しており、
     前記統括制御装置から前記電力範囲を受信する処理は前記上位制御部が行い、
     前記電力制限処理は前記下位制御部が行うように構成されている
     請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の電力制御システム。
  8.  前記下位制御部が前記電力制限処理の態様を切り換える
     請求項7に記載の電力制御システム。
  9.  前記電力消費機器の一つは、前記電動車両に備えられた空調システム(700)の一部を構成するものであって、
     前記空調システムの構成に応じて、前記電力制限処理の態様が選択され実行される
     請求項6乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の電力制御システム。
  10.  前記機器制御装置のうち少なくとも一つには、前記電力消費機器に供給される電力の値
    を目標値に一致させるための制御器(212A,212B)が複数備えられており、
     当該機器制御装置の前記下位制御部は、電力を制限する目的に応じて前記制御器の切り換えを行う
     請求項7乃至9のいずれか1項に記載の電力制御システム。
  11.  前記電力制限処理は、電力制限が開始されると、前記電力消費機器の消費電力が0まで落ちないように、かつ当該消費電力の変化を電力割り当ての変化に一致させるように制御する
     請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の電力制御システム。
  12.  前記電力制限処理が行われた後、電力の制限が解除された状態に戻す制限解除処理が行われるものであって、
     前記制限解除処理の態様は予め複数用意されており、
     電力の制限を行った目的に応じた適切な態様が選択され実行される
     請求項1乃至11のいずれか1項に記載の電力制御システム。
  13.  前記電力制限処理が行われる際には、対応する前記電力消費機器が含まれるシステム(700)全体の運転状態が、通常時における運転状態とは異なる制限運転状態に変更されるように構成されており、
     前記制限解除処理は、
     前記制限運転状態が解除された後に行われる
     請求項12に記載の電力制御システム。
  14.  前記制限解除処理は、
     前記制限運転状態が解除され、前記電力消費機器が含まれるシステム全体の運転状態が安定した後に行われる
     請求項13に記載の電力制御システム。
  15.  前記電力制限処理が行われる期間が所定の閾値よりも短い場合には、
     前記機器制御装置は、前記統括制御装置からの指令を待つことなく、前記制限解除処理を行う
     請求項12に記載の電力制御システム。
