Abstract

The present invention concerns a method and a plant of leaching ceramic residues of components made by lost-wax casting, comprising a step of taking of an aqueous solution of caustic soda, at a concentration of 15-25% by weight, from a storage tank or processing tank (12), a step of loading of said solution in one or more leaching autoclaves (10), inside which the components to be treated have been previously positioned; permanence of the solution in the autoclaves (10) at a predetermined pressure and temperature for a predefined time; withdrawal from the autoclaves (10) of the solution of caustic soda, containing ceramic residue, characterised in that it additionally comprises a step of recirculation of caustic soda, comprising the following substeps: - decanting of the solution of spent caustic soda, to obtain, at the top, a phase of clarified solution of caustic soda and at the bottom a phase of solution of caustic soda muddied with ceramic residues; - withdrawing of the clarified solution of caustic soda; and - forwarding of the clarified solution of caustic soda to the storage tank or processing tank (12), together with a make up quantity of fresh aqueous solution of caustic soda.
