Abstract
Description
例えば、ポリ乳酸の成型物を延伸処理することで、常温で、10pC/N程度の圧電率を示す高分子圧電材料が開示されている(例えば、特許文献1参照)。
また、ポリ乳酸結晶を高配向にするために、鍛造法と呼ばれる特殊な配向方法により18pC/N程度の高い圧電性を出すことも報告されている(例えば、特許文献2参照)。

また、高分子圧電体を利用して実際にセンサやアクチュエータをデバイスとして製造する際、工業的にはロールトゥロールでの連続プロセスを採用することが生産性の観点から好ましい。そのためには高分子圧電体が長尺で巻き取られた回巻体(ロール体)を供給する必要がある。この時、高分子圧電体のロール体が接着層を備えていれば、後工程で接着層を形成する必要が無く、工程の簡略化が可能である。さらに、接着層を形成した状態でロールトゥロールでの連続プロセスを採用することができるため、デバイスを製造するまでのトータルの生産性が向上する。
ここで、ロールトゥロールの連続プロセスでは、ロール間の高分子圧電体にたわみが生じないようにする必要があり、高分子圧電体には工程の流れ方向(MD方向)に向かって張力が発生する。さらに、ポリ乳酸などの脂肪族系ポリエステル(ヘリカルキラル高分子)を含む高分子圧電体は耐熱性が低く、高分子圧電体に接着層を形成する工程で熱がかかると、張力によって高分子圧電体に伸びが生じ、高分子圧電体の寸法変化率を悪化させることがあり、あるいは、熱によりポリ乳酸などの脂肪族系ポリエステルが分解され、高分子圧電体の耐湿熱性を悪化させることがある。
また、高分子圧電体に圧電性を発現させるためには、分子鎖を一方向に配向させることが好ましいが、配向方向に引裂け易いという問題がある。
そのため、寸法変化率が悪化し、かつ、分子鎖が主に一方向に配向した高分子圧電体をデバイスとして利用しようとしたとき、高分子圧電体と積層する他部材との収縮差によって高分子圧電体にクラックが生じるおそれがある。
<1> 重量平均分子量が5万~100万である光学活性を有するヘリカルキラル高分子(A)を含み、DSC法で得られる結晶化度が20%~80%であり、かつ、マイクロ波透過型分子配向計で測定される基準厚さを50μmとしたときの規格化分子配向MORcと前記結晶化度との積が40~700である高分子圧電フィルムと、前記高分子圧電フィルムの少なくとも一方の主面上に設けられた機能層(X)と、を有する積層フィルムがロール状に巻回してなり、前記積層フィルムから前記機能層(X)を除去して得られた前記高分子圧電フィルムを、100℃で30分間加熱したときの寸法変化率が、MD方向に1.0%以下であるフィルム巻層体。

本明細書において、「~」を用いて表される数値範囲は、「~」の前後に記載される数値を下限値及び上限値として含む範囲を意味する。
また、本明細書において、「フィルム」は、一般的に「フィルム」と呼ばれているものだけでなく、一般的に「シート」と呼ばれているものをも包含する概念である。
また、本明細書において、「(メタ)アクリル基」とは、アクリル基及びメタクリル基の少なくとも一方を表す。
なお、本明細書中において、「MD方向」とはフィルムの流れる方向(Machine Direction)であり、「TD方向」とは、前記MD方向と直交し、フィルムの主面と平行な方向(Transverse Direction)である。
本発明の一実施形態に係るフィルム巻層体は、重量平均分子量が5万~100万である光学活性を有するヘリカルキラル高分子(A)を含み、DSC法で得られる結晶化度が20%~80%であり、かつ、マイクロ波透過型分子配向計で測定される基準厚さを50μmとしたときの規格化分子配向MORcと前記結晶化度との積が40~700である高分子圧電フィルムと、前記高分子圧電フィルムの少なくとも一方の主面上に設けられた機能層(X)と、を有する積層フィルムがロール状に巻回してなり、前記積層フィルムから前記機能層(X)を除去して得られた前記高分子圧電フィルムを、100℃で30分間加熱したときの寸法変化率が、MD方向に1.0%以下である。
より詳細には、結晶化度が20%以上であることにより、高分子圧電フィルムの圧電性が高く維持され、結晶化度が80%以下であることにより、高分子圧電フィルムの縦裂強度及び透明性が低下することを抑制できる。
本実施形態に係るフィルム巻層体は、光学活性を有するヘリカルキラル高分子(A)を含み、DSC法で得られる結晶化度が20%~80%であり、かつ、マイクロ波透過型分子配向計で測定される基準厚さを50μmとしたときの規格化分子配向MORcと前記結晶化度との積が40~700である。
以下、高分子圧電フィルムの物性、高分子圧電フィルムに含まれる成分などについて詳細に説明する。
本実施形態で用いる高分子圧電フィルムは、光学活性を有するヘリカルキラル高分子(A)を含んでいる。光学活性を有するヘリカルキラル高分子(A)とは、分子構造が螺旋構造である分子光学活性を有し、重量平均分子量が5万~100万である高分子をいう。
ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)としては、例えば、ポリペプチド、セルロース、セルロース誘導体、ポリ乳酸系高分子、ポリプロピレンオキシド、ポリ(β―ヒドロキシ酪酸)等を挙げることができる。前記ポリペプチドとしては、例えば、ポリ(グルタル酸γ-ベンジル)、ポリ(グルタル酸γ-メチル)等が挙げられる。前記セルロース誘導体としては、例えば、酢酸セルロース、シアノエチルセルロース等が挙げられる。
光学純度(%ee)=100×|L体量-D体量|/(L体量+D体量)
すなわち、『「ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)のL体の量〔質量%〕とヘリカルキラル高分子(A)のD体の量〔質量%〕との量差(絶対値)」を「ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)のL体の量〔質量%〕とヘリカルキラル高分子(A)のD体の量〔質量%〕との合計量」で割った(除した)数値』に、『100』をかけた(乗じた)値を、光学純度とする。
さらに、前記の各製造方法により得られたヘリカルキラル高分子(A)(例えばポリ乳酸系高分子)は、光学純度を95.00%ee以上とするために、例えば、ポリ乳酸をラクチド法で製造する場合、晶析操作により光学純度を95.00%ee以上の光学純度に向上させたラクチドを、重合することが好ましい。
本実施形態で用いるヘリカルキラル高分子(A)は、重量平均分子量(Mw)が、5万~100万である。
ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)の重量平均分子量が、5万以上であることにより、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)を成形体としたときの機械的強度が向上する。ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)の重量平均分子量は、成形体としたときの機械的強度をより向上させる観点から、10万以上であることが好ましく、15万以上であることがさらに好ましい。
一方、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)の重量平均分子量が、100万以下であることにより、成形(例えば押出成形)によって高分子圧電フィルムを得る際の成形性が向上する。ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)の重量平均分子量は、高分子圧電フィルムを得る際の成形性をより向上させる観点から、80万以下であることが好ましく、30万以下であることがさらに好ましい。

ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)を40℃で溶媒(例えば、クロロホルム)へ溶解させ、濃度1mg/mLのサンプル溶液を準備する。

サンプル溶液0.1mLを溶媒〔クロロホルム〕、温度40℃、1mL/分の流速でカラムに導入する。
本実施形態で用いる高分子圧電フィルムについて、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)の含有量(2種以上である場合には総含有量。以下同じ。)には特に制限はないが、高分子圧電フィルム全質量に対して、80質量%以上であることが好ましい。
上記含有量が80質量%以上であることにより、圧電定数がより大きくなる傾向がある。
本実施形態に係るフィルム巻層体では、積層フィルムから機能層(X)を除去して得られた高分子圧電フィルムを、100℃で30分間加熱したときのMD方向の寸法変化率(MD寸法変化率)が、1.0%以下である。寸法変化率が小さいほど寸法安定性が高いことを示す。MD方向の寸法変化率は、以下のようにして求められる。
まず、積層フィルムから機能層(X)を除去し、延伸方向(MD方向)に50mm、延伸方向と直交する方向(TD方向)に50mmカットして、50mm×50mmの矩形フィルムを切り出す。なお、積層フィルムが離型フィルム、他の層等を有する場合には、機能層(X)とともに離型フィルム、他の層等も除去する。この矩形フィルムを100℃にセットしたオーブン中に吊り下げて、30分間アニール処理する。その後、アニール処理前後のMD方向のフィルム矩形辺長の寸法を高精度デジタル測長機(株式会社ミツトヨ製、ライトマチックVL-50AS)で測定する。そして、下式に従い、寸法変化率(%)を算出し、寸法安定性を評価する。

高分子圧電フィルムの結晶化度は、DSC法によって求められるものである。高分子圧電フィルムの結晶化度は20%~80%であり、30%~70%が好ましく、35%~60%がより好ましい。前記範囲に結晶化度があれば、高分子圧電フィルムの圧電性、透明性、縦裂強度のバランスがよく、また高分子圧電フィルムを延伸するときに、白化や破断がおきにくく製造しやすい。
結晶化度が20%以上であることにより、高分子圧電フィルムの圧電性が高く維持される。
また、結晶化度が80%以下であることにより、縦裂強度及び透明性が低下することを抑制できる。
高分子圧電フィルムの規格化分子配向MORcは、2.0~15.0であることが好ましい。規格化分子配向MORcは、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)の配向の度合いを示す指標である「分子配向度MOR」に基づいて定められる値である。規格化分子配向MORcが2.0以上であれば、延伸方向に配列するヘリカルキラル高分子(A)の分子鎖(例えばポリ乳酸分子鎖)が多く、その結果、配向結晶の生成する率が高くなり、高分子圧電フィルムはより高い圧電性を発現することが可能となる。規格化分子配向MORcが15.0以下であれば、高分子圧電フィルムの縦裂強度が更に向上する。

規格化分子配向MORcは、公知の分子配向計、例えば王子計測機器株式会社製マイクロ波方式分子配向計MOA-2012AやMOA-6000等により、4GHzもしくは12GHz近傍の共振周波数で測定することができる。
また、高分子圧電フィルムと中間層との密着性をより向上させる観点からは、規格化分子配向MORcは、7.0以下であることが好ましい。
例えば、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)がポリ乳酸系高分子であり、かつ、高分子圧電フィルムの複屈折率Δnを測定波長550nmで測定した場合、規格化分子配向MORcが2.0であれば、複屈折率Δn 0.005に変換でき、規格化分子配向MORcが4.0であれば、複屈折率Δn 0.01に変換できる。
本実施形態において、高分子圧電フィルムの結晶化度と規格化分子配向MORcとの積は40~700である。この範囲に調整することで、高分子圧電フィルムの圧電性と透明性とのバランスが良好であり、かつ寸法安定性も高く、縦裂強度の低下が抑制される。
高分子圧電フィルムの規格化分子配向MORcと結晶化度との積は、より好ましくは40~600、さらに好ましくは100~500、特に好ましくは125~400、特に好ましくは150~300である。
高分子圧電フィルムの圧電性は、例えば、高分子圧電フィルムの圧電定数d14を測定することによって評価することができる。
以下、応力-電荷法による圧電定数d14の測定方法の一例について説明する。

具体的には、本実施形態における高分子圧電フィルムにおいて、25℃における応力-電荷法で測定した圧電定数d14は、1pC/N以上が好ましく、3pC/N以上がより好ましく、5pC/N以上がさらに好ましく、6pC/N以上が特に好ましい。また圧電定数d14の上限は特に限定されないが、透明性などのバランスの観点からは、ヘリカルキラル高分子を用いた高分子圧電フィルムでは50pC/N以下が好ましく、30pC/N以下がより好ましい。
また、同様に透明性とのバランスの観点からは共振法で測定した圧電定数d14が15pC/N以下であることが好ましい。
本実施形態で用いる高分子圧電フィルムの透明性は、例えば、目視観察やヘイズ測定により評価することができる。
高分子圧電フィルムは、可視光線に対する内部ヘイズ(以下、単に「内部ヘイズ」ともいう)が50%以下であることが好ましく、20%以下であることがより好ましく、13%以下であることがさらに好ましく、5%以下であることがさらに好ましく、2.0%以下であることが特に好ましく、1.0%以下であることがもっとも好ましい。
本実施形態で用いる高分子圧電フィルムの内部ヘイズは、低ければ低いほどよいが、圧電定数などとのバランスの観点からは、0.01%~15%であることが好ましく、0.01%~10%であることがより好ましく、0.1%~5%であることがさらに好ましく、0.1%~1.0%であることが特に好ましい。
また、ここでいう「内部ヘイズ」は、高分子圧電フィルムに対して、JIS-K7105に準拠して、25℃で測定したときの値である。
即ち、まず、シリコーンオイルで満たした光路長10mmのセルについて、光路長方向のヘイズ(以下、「ヘイズH2」ともいう)を測定した。次いで、このセルのシリコーンオイルに高分子圧電フィルムを、セルの光路長方向とフィルムの法線方向とが平行となるように浸漬させ、高分子圧電フィルムが浸漬されたセルの光路長方向のヘイズ(以下、「ヘイズH3」ともいう)を測定する。ヘイズH2及びヘイズH3は、いずれもJIS-K7105に準拠して25℃で測定する。
測定されたヘイズH2及びヘイズH3に基づき、下記式に従って内部ヘイズH1を求める。
内部ヘイズ(H1)=ヘイズ(H3)-ヘイズ(H2)
また、シリコーンオイルとしては、例えば、信越化学工業株式会社製の「信越シリコーン(商標)、型番KF-96-100CS」を用いることができる。
本実施形態で用いる高分子圧電フィルムは、安定化剤(B)として、カルボジイミド基、エポキシ基、及びイソシアネート基からなる群より選ばれる1種類以上の官能基を有する重量平均分子量が200~60000の化合物を含有してもよい。これにより、高分子圧電フィルムの耐湿熱性がより向上する。
更に、高分子圧電フィルムは、安定化剤(B)として、カルボジイミド基、エポキシ基、及びイソシアネート基からなる群から選ばれる1種類以上の官能基を1分子内に1つ有することが好ましい。
安定化剤(B)としては、国際公開第2013/054918号の段落0039~0055に記載された「安定化剤(B)」を用いることができる。
モノカルボジイミド化合物としては、ジシクロヘキシルカルボジイミド、ビス-2,6-ジイソプロピルフェニルカルボジイミド、等が好適である。
また、ポリカルボジイミド化合物としては、種々の方法で製造したものを使用することができる。従来のポリカルボジイミドの製造方法(例えば、米国特許第2941956号明細書、特公昭47-33279号公報、J.0rg.Chem.28,2069-2075(1963)、Chemical Review 1981,Vol.81 No.4、p619-621)により、製造されたものを用いることができる。具体的には特許4084953号公報に記載のカルボジイミド化合物を用いることもできる。
ポリカルボジイミド化合物としては、ポリ(4,4’-ジシクロヘキシルメタンカルボジイミド)、ポリ(N,N’-ジ-2,6-ジイソプロピルフェニルカルボジイミド)、ポリ(1,3,5-トリイソプロピルフェニレン-2,4-カルボジイミド、等が挙げられる。
環状カルボジイミド化合物は、特開2011-256337号公報、特開2013-256485号公報に記載の方法などに基づいて合成することができる。
カルボジイミド化合物としては、市販品を用いてもよく、例えば、東京化成工業株式会社製、B2756(商品名)、日清紡ケミカル株式会社製、カルボジライトLA-1、ラインケミー社製、Stabaxol P、Stabaxol P400、Stabaxol I(いずれも商品名)等が挙げられる。
安定化剤(B)の重量平均分子量が上記範囲内であると、安定化剤がより移動しやすくなり、耐湿熱性の改良効果がより効果的に奏される。
安定化剤(B)の重量平均分子量は、200~900であることが特に好ましい。なお、重量平均分子量200~900は、数平均分子量200~900とほぼ一致する。また、重量平均分子量200~900の場合、分子量分布が1.0である場合があり、この場合には、「重量平均分子量200~900」を、単に「分子量200~900」と言い換えることもできる。
高分子圧電フィルムがヘリカルキラル高分子(A)及び安定化剤(B)を含む場合、安定化剤(B)の含有量(2種以上である場合には総含有量。以下同じ。)は、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)100質量部に対し、0.01質量部~10質量部であることが好ましく、0.01質量部~5質量部であることがより好ましく、0.01質量部~3質量部であることがさらに好ましく、0.01質量部~2.8質量部であることがさらに好ましく、0.1質量部~2.8質量部であることがさらに好ましく、0.5質量部~2質量部であることが特に好ましい。
上記含有量が0.01質量部以上であると、耐湿熱性がより向上する。
また、上記含有量が10質量部以下であると、透明性の低下がより抑制される。
安定化剤(B)として安定化剤(B1)と安定化剤(B2)とを併用する場合、安定化剤(B1)を多く含むことが透明性向上の観点から好ましい。
具体的には、安定化剤(B1)100質量部に対して、安定化剤(B2)が10質量部~150質量部の範囲であることが、透明性と耐湿熱性の両立という観点から好ましく、30質量部~100質量部の範囲であることがより好ましく、50質量部~100質量部の範囲であることが特に好ましい。
本実施形態で用いられる高分子圧電フィルムは、可視光線に対する内部ヘイズが13%以下であり、かつ、カルボジイミド基、エポキシ基、及びイソシアネート基からなる群より選ばれる1種類以上の官能基を有し、かつ、重量平均分子量が200~60000の安定化剤(B)を、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)100質量部に対して0.01質量部~2.8質量部含むことがさらに好ましい。これにより、高分子圧電フィルムは、圧電性、透明性及び耐湿熱性のバランスにより優れる。
・安定化剤SS-1 … 化合物名は、ビス-2,6-ジイソプロピルフェニルカルボジイミドである。重量平均分子量(この例では、単なる「分子量」に等しい)は、363である。市販品としては、ラインケミー社製「Stabaxol I」、東京化成工業株式会社製「B2756」が挙げられる。
・安定化剤SS-2 … 化合物名は、ポリ(4,4’-ジシクロヘキシルメタンカルボジイミド)である。市販品としては、重量平均分子量約2000のものとして、日清紡ケミカル株式会社製「カルボジライトLA-1」が挙げられる。
・安定化剤SS-3 … 化合物名は、ポリ(1,3,5-トリイソプロピルフェニレン-2,4-カルボジイミド)である。市販品としては、重量平均分子量約3000のものとして、ラインケミー社製「Stabaxol P」が挙げられる。また、重量平均分子量20000のものとして、ラインケミー社製「Stabaxol P400」が挙げられる。
また、本実施形態で用いる高分子圧電フィルムは、酸化防止剤を含有してもよい。酸化防止剤は、ヒンダードフェノール系化合物、ヒンダードアミン系化合物、ホスファイト系化合物及びチオエーテル系化合物からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の化合物であることが好ましい。
また、酸化防止剤として、ヒンダードフェノール系化合物又はヒンダードアミン系化合物を用いることがより好ましい。これにより、耐湿熱性及び透明性にも優れる高分子圧電フィルムを提供することができる。
本実施形態で用いる高分子圧電フィルムは、本発明の効果を損なわない限度において、ポリフッ化ビニリデン、ポリエチレン樹脂やポリスチレン樹脂に代表される公知の樹脂や、シリカ、ヒドロキシアパタイト、モンモリロナイト等の無機フィラー、フタロシアニン等の公知の結晶核剤等、その他の成分を含有していてもよい。
なお、高分子圧電フィルムがヘリカルキラル高分子(A)以外の成分を含む場合、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)以外の成分の含有量は、高分子圧電フィルム全質量に対して、20質量%以下であることが好ましく、10質量%以下であることがより好ましい。
本実施形態で用いる高分子圧電フィルムを製造する方法としては、結晶化度を20%~80%に調整でき、かつ、規格化分子配向MORcと結晶化度との積を40~700に調整できる方法であれば特に制限されない。
この方法として、例えば、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)を含む組成物をフィルム状に成形する工程(成形工程)と、成形されたフィルムを延伸する工程(延伸工程)と、を含む方法によって好適に製造することができる。例えば、国際公開第2013/054918号の段落0065~0099に記載の製造方法が挙げられる。
成形工程は、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)と、必要に応じ安定化剤(B)等のその他の成分と、を含む組成物を、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)の融点Tm(℃)以上の温度に加熱してフィルム形状に成形する工程である。この成形工程により、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)と、必要に応じ安定化剤(B)等のその他の成分と、を含むフィルムが得られる。
上記混合は、溶融混練であってもよい。
具体的には、上記組成物は、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)と、必要に応じ安定化剤(B)等のその他の成分と、を溶融混練機〔例えば、東洋精機製作所製のラボプラストミル〕に投入し、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)の融点以上の温度に加熱して溶融混練することにより製造してもよい。この場合、本工程では、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)の融点以上の温度に加熱して溶融混練することによって製造された組成物を、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)の融点以上の温度に維持した状態でフィルム形状に成形する。
溶融混練の条件としては、例えば、ミキサー回転数30rpm~70rpm、温度180℃~250℃、混練時間5分間~20分間、といった条件が挙げられる。
ここで、「急冷」とは、押出した直後に少なくともヘリカルキラル高分子(A)のガラス転移温度Tg以下に冷やすことをいう。
本実施形態では、フィルムへの成形と急冷との間に他の処理が含まれないことが好ましい。
また、冷却の回数は、1回のみであっても、2回以上であってもよい。
ここで、非晶状態のフィルムとは、結晶化度が3%未満であるフィルムをいう。
また、予備結晶化フィルムとは、結晶化度が3%以上(好ましくは3%~70%)であるフィルムを指す。
ここで、結晶化度は、高分子圧電フィルムの結晶化度と同様の方法によって測定される値を指す。
非晶状態のフィルムを予備結晶化するための加熱温度Tは特に限定されないが、製造される高分子圧電フィルムの圧電性や透明性など高める点で、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)のガラス転移温度Tgと以下の式の関係を満たし、結晶化度が3%~70%になるように設定されることが好ましい。
Tg-40℃≦T≦Tg+40℃
(Tgは、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)のガラス転移温度を表す)
上記加熱時間は、5秒~60分が好ましい。加熱時間が長くなるに従い、上記規格化分子配向MORcが高くなり、上記結晶化度が高くなる傾向となる。
例えば、ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)としてポリ乳酸系高分子を含む非晶状態のフィルムを予備結晶化する場合は、20℃~170℃で、5秒~60分加熱することが好ましい。
延伸工程は、成形工程において得られたフィルム(例えば予備結晶化フィルム)を主として一軸方向に延伸する工程である。本工程により、延伸フィルムとして、主面の面積が大きな高分子圧電フィルムを得ることができる。
なお、主面の面積が大きいとは、高分子圧電フィルムの主面の面積が5mm2以上であることをいう。また、主面の面積が10mm2以上であることが好ましい。
なお、ここで言う「逐次的な延伸」とは、まず一軸方向に延伸した後に、前記延伸の方向と交差する方向に延伸する延伸方法をいう。
延伸工程にて副次的延伸を行なう場合、副次的延伸の延伸倍率は、1倍~3倍が好ましく、1.1倍~2.5倍がより好ましく、1.2倍~2.0倍がさらに好ましい。これにより、高分子圧電フィルムの引裂強さをより高めることができる。
本実施形態の製造方法は、必要に応じ、アニール工程を有していてもよい。
アニール工程は、上記延伸工程において延伸されたフィルム(以下、「延伸フィルム」ともいう)を、アニール(熱処理)する工程である。アニール工程により、延伸フィルムの結晶化をより進行させることができ、より圧電性が高い高分子圧電フィルムを得ることができる。
また、主に、アニールによって延伸フィルムが結晶化する場合は、前述の成形工程における、予備結晶化の操作を省略できる場合がある。この場合、成形工程で得られるフィルム(即ち、延伸工程に供されるフィルム)として、非晶状態のフィルムを選択できる。
冷却の回数は、1回のみであっても、2回以上であってもよく、さらには、アニールと冷却とを交互に繰り返し行なうことも可能である。
機能層(X)は、高分子圧電フィルムの少なくとも一方の主面上に設けられた層である。機能層(X)は、高分子圧電フィルムを保護するための層、他の層と高分子圧電フィルムとを貼り合せる層などとして機能する。機能層(X)は、高分子圧電フィルムに接触していることが好ましい。
また、上記接着層は、溶剤系、無溶剤系、水系などの粘着コート液、UV硬化型OCR(Optical Clear Resin)、ホットメルト接着剤、などを用いて形成することもできる。
樹脂としては、例えば、アクリル系樹脂、メタクリル系樹脂、ウレタン系樹脂、セルロース系樹脂、酢酸ビニル系樹脂、エチレン-酢酸ビニル系樹脂、エポキシ系樹脂、ナイロン-エポキシ系樹脂、塩化ビニル系樹脂、クロロプレンゴム系樹脂、シアノアクリレート系樹脂、シリコーン系樹脂、変性シリコーン系樹脂、水性高分子-イソシアネート系樹脂、スチレン-ブタジエンゴム系樹脂、ニトリルゴム系樹脂、アセタール樹脂、フェノール樹脂、ポリアミド樹脂、ポリイミド樹脂、メラミン樹脂、ユリア樹脂、臭素樹脂、デンプン系樹脂、ポリエステル樹脂、ポリオレフィン樹脂等が挙げられる。
機能層(X)の酸価は、積層フィルムの湿熱環境下での劣化を抑制する観点から、10mgKOH/g以下であることが好ましく、5mgKOH/g以下であることがより好ましく、1mgKOH/g以下であることがさらに好ましい。
機能層(X)の酸価は、高分子圧電フィルムと機能層(X)との密着力をより向上させる観点から、0.01mgKOH/g以上であることが好ましく、0.05mgKOH/g以上であることがより好ましく、0.1mgKOH/g以上であることがさらに好ましい。
本明細書において、機能層(X)の酸価は、機能層(X)1g中の遊離酸を中和するのに要するKOHの量(mg)を指す。このKOHの量(mg)は、溶媒に溶解又は膨潤させた機能層(X)を、フェノールフタレインを指示薬として0.005M KOH(水酸化カリウム)エタノール溶液によって滴定することにより測定される。
本実施形態に係るフィルム巻層体では、積層フィルムは、高分子圧電フィルムと機能層(X)との間に、その他の層を有していてもよい。その他の層として、例えば、易接着層、ハードコート層、屈折率調整層、アンチリフレクション層、アンチグレア層、易滑層、アンチブロック層、保護層、帯電防止層、放熱層、紫外線吸収層、アンチニュートンリング層、光散乱層、偏光層、ガスバリア層、色相調整層などが挙げられる。また、その他の層としては、前述のその他の層がそれぞれ有する機能のうちの2つ以上を兼ね備えた層であってもよく、2つ以上の層が順番に積層されていてもよい。これらの中でも、その他の層としては、屈折率調整層、易接着層、ハードコート層、帯電防止層、及びアンチブロック層の少なくとも1つの層が好ましい。
高分子圧電フィルムの両方の主面側にその他の層を備える場合は、2つのその他の層は同じ層であっても、異なる層であってもよい。
これらの中でも、アクリル系化合物、エポキシ系化合物、シラン系化合物がより好ましい。
金属としては、例えば、Al、Si、Ti、V、Cr、Fe、Co、Ni、Cu、Zn、In、Sn、W、Ag、Au、Pd、Pt、Sb、Ta及びZrから選ばれる少なくとも一つ、又は、これらの合金が挙げられる。
金属酸化物としては、例えば、酸化チタン、酸化ジルコニウム、酸化亜鉛、酸化ニオブ、酸化アンチモン、酸化スズ、酸化インジウム、酸化セリウム、酸化アルミニウム、酸化ケイ素、酸化マグネシウム、酸化イットリウム、酸化イッテルビウム、及び酸化タンタル、またこれらの複合酸化物の少なくとも1つが挙げられる。
微粒子としては上述したような金属酸化物の微粒子や、フッ素系樹脂、シリコーン系樹脂、スチレン系樹脂、アクリル系樹脂などの樹脂微粒子などが挙げられる。さらにこれらの微粒子の内部に空孔を有する中空微粒子も挙げられる。
微粒子の平均一次粒径としては、透明性の観点から1nm以上500nm以下が好ましく、5nm以上300nm以下がより好ましく、10nm以上200nm以下が更に好ましい。500nm以下であることで可視光の散乱が抑制され、1nm以上であることで微粒子の二次凝集が抑制され、透明性の維持の観点から望ましい。
但し、その他の層が複数の層からなる多層膜の場合には、上記厚さは多層膜全体における厚さを表す。
例えば、その他の層が硬化性樹脂から形成される場合、硬化性樹脂、添加剤、溶剤等を含む材料が分散又は溶解されたコート液を塗布することで、その他の層が形成される。
具体的には、その他の層を溶剤に24時間浸漬した後の不溶分からゲル分率を導くことができる。特に溶剤が水などの親水性の溶媒でも、トルエンのような親油性の溶媒でも、ゲル分率が一定以上のものが三次元架橋構造を有すると推定することができる。
ウェットコート法によるその他の層の(1層の)厚さとしては、数十nm~10μmの範囲が好ましい。
またその他の層にはその目的に応じて屈折率調整剤や紫外線吸収剤、レベリング剤、帯電防止剤、アンチブロッキング剤などの各種有機物、無機物を添加することもできる。
尚、高分子圧電フィルム表面とその他の層との密着性や、高分子圧電フィルム表面への塗工性を向上させる観点から、コロナ処理やイトロ処理、オゾン処理、プラズマ処理などによって高分子圧電フィルム表面を処理することもできる。
本実施形態に係るフィルム巻層体では、積層フィルムは、機能層(X)から見て高分子圧電フィルムが配置されている側とは反対側に配置された離型フィルムをさらに有することが好ましい。本実施形態に係るフィルム巻層体は、高分子圧電フィルムと、機能層(X)と、離型フィルムとを有する積層フィルムをロール状に巻回することで得られ、この積層フィルムは、MD方向の長さが10m以上であることが好ましい。
また、離型性を有する材料としては、他にも、ポリウレタン樹脂、ポリイミド樹脂、ポリアミド樹脂、シリコーン樹脂、アクリルシリコーン樹脂、メラミン樹脂、アルキッド樹脂、ワックス樹脂等が挙げられる。
離型フィルムは、これらの単独のフィルムであってもよく、複数層からなる多層フィルムであってもよい。この場合、離型フィルムは、離型性を有する材料が接着層と対向する面に設けられた構造に形成されていることが好ましい。中でも、接着層との剥離性をより向上させる点から、接着層と対向する面に設ける離型性を有する材料は、シリコーン樹脂、フッ素樹脂、ポリエステル樹脂、ポリオレフィン樹脂、アルキッド樹脂、ワックス樹脂を用いることがより好ましく、シリコーン樹脂を用いることがさらに好ましい。
離型フィルムが基材と離型性を有する材料とを含む構造に形成されている場合、基材としては、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレンナフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリメチルペンテン、トリアセチルセルロース、セロハン、レーヨン、ポリスチレン、ポリカーボネート、ポリイミド、ポリアミド、ポリフェニレンスルフィド、ポリエーテルイミド、ポリエーテルスルホン、芳香族ポリアミド、若しくはポリスルホン等の樹脂が挙げられ、これらの一軸又は二軸延伸フィルム、不織布、発泡体等が挙げられる。また、基材としては、ガラス、金属箔、セラミック、紙等の中から選択することもできる。
また、離型フィルムが基材と離型性を有する材料とを含む構造に形成された複数層からなる多層フィルムである場合、製膜した基材と、製膜した離型性を有する材料とを接着剤により多層に形成してもよく、製膜した基材上に離型性を有する材料を押出製膜して多層に形成してもよく、又は基材を構成する材料と、離型性を有する材料とを多層製膜機により共押出製膜して多層に形成してもよい。
なお、離型フィルムが、複数層からなる多層フィルムである場合には、離型フィルムの接着層と対向する面と反対側の面、又は離型フィルムの接着層と対向する面と反対側の面に接する基材等に、コロナ放電処理、フレーム処理、オゾン処理等の表面活性化処理、あるいはアンカー処理剤を用いたアンカーコーティング処理を施してもよい。これらのような処理によって多層フィルムの密着性が向上するため、接着層との離型性より向上させることができる。
本発明に係るフィルム巻層体の製造方法の実施形態について、以下に説明する。フィルム巻層体の製造方法としては、例えば、離型フィルム上に機能層(X)を形成し、機能層(X)と高分子圧電フィルムとを貼り合わせた後にフィルム巻層体とする方法、高分子圧電フィルム上に機能層(X)を形成し、機能層(X)と離型フィルムとを貼り合わせた後にフィルム巻層体とする方法などが挙げられる。
第一実施形態に係るフィルム巻層体の製造方法は、離型フィルムの主面に機能層(X)を形成するための機能層形成剤を付与して機能層(X)を形成する工程と、機能層(X)から見て離型フィルムが配置されている側とは反対側にて、機能層(X)と高分子圧電フィルムとを貼り合わせて積層フィルムを形成する工程と、形成した積層フィルムをロール状に巻回する工程と、を含む。この製造方法では、離型フィルム上に形成した機能層(X)と、高分子圧電フィルムとを貼り合わせて積層フィルムを形成し、形成した積層フィルムをロール状に巻回してフィルム巻層体を製造している。
本実施形態に係るフィルム巻層体の製造方法は、離型フィルムの主面に機能層(X)を形成するための機能層形成剤を付与して機能層(X)を形成する工程を含む。このとき、フィルム状又はシート状の材料(例えば、前述のOCA)を機能層形成剤として離型フィルムの主面に付与して機能層(X)を形成してもよく、液状の機能層形成剤(例えば、粘着コート液)を離型フィルムの主面に付与し、付与した機能層形成剤を乾燥させて機能層(X)を形成してもよい。このとき、機能層形成剤の乾燥温度は、50℃~150℃であることが好ましく、70℃~130℃であることがより好ましい。また、離型フィルムの主面に機能層(X)を付与する際は、塗工装置を用いてもよい。
本実施形態に係るフィルム巻層体の製造方法は、前述のように、機能層(X)を形成した後、機能層(X)から見て離型フィルムが配置されている側とは反対側にて、機能層(X)と高分子圧電フィルムとを貼り合わせて積層フィルムを形成する工程を含む。これにより、高分子圧電フィルムの主面の鉛直方向において、高分子圧電フィルム、機能層(X)及び離型フィルムがこの順に積層された三層の積層フィルムが得られる。
本実施形態に係るフィルム巻層体の製造方法は、形成した積層フィルムをロール状に巻回する工程と、を含む。これにより、ロール状のフィルム巻層体が得られる。
本実施形態の製造方法では、高分子圧電フィルムに機能層(X)を形成するのではなく、離型フィルムに機能層(X)を形成し、かつ形成した機能層(X)と高分子圧電フィルムとを貼り合わせている。そのため、高分子圧電フィルムを加熱する必要が無く、高分子圧電フィルムに伸びが生じることが抑制される。その結果、前述のようにして測定される寸法変化率を、MD方向に1.0%以下とすることができる。さらに、本実施形態の製造方法で得られるフィルム巻層体は、寸法安定性が高いため、加熱したときの高分子圧電フィルムへのクラックの発生が抑制され、かつ、高分子圧電フィルムの耐湿熱性に優れる。
次に、第二実施形態に係るフィルム巻層体の製造方法について説明する。なお、第一の実施形態と共通する事項については、その説明を省略する。第二実施形態に係るフィルム巻層体の製造方法は、前記高分子圧電フィルムの少なくとも一方の主面に前記機能層(X)を形成するための機能層形成剤を塗布し、塗布した前記機能層形成剤を90℃以下の温度で乾燥させて機能層(X)を形成する工程と、前記機能層(X)から見て前記高分子圧電フィルムが配置されている側とは反対側にて、前記機能層(X)と前記離型フィルムとを貼り合わせて前記積層フィルムを形成する工程と、形成した前記積層フィルムをロール状に巻回する工程と、を含む。この製造方法では、機能層形成剤を90℃以下の温度で乾燥させて機能層(X)を高分子圧電フィルム上に形成した後、高分子圧電フィルム上に形成した機能層(X)と、離型フィルムとを貼り合わせて積層フィルムを形成し、形成した積層フィルムをロール状に巻回してフィルム巻層体を製造している。
本実施形態に係るフィルム巻層体の製造方法は、高分子圧電フィルムの少なくとも一方の主面に機能層(X)を形成するための機能層形成剤を塗布し、塗布した機能層形成剤を90℃以下の温度で乾燥させて機能層(X)を形成する工程を含む。このとき、機能層形成剤の乾燥温度は、50℃~90℃であることが好ましく、60℃~80℃であることがより好ましい。これにより、高分子圧電フィルムの寸法安定性をより好適に維持することができる。
本実施形態に係るフィルム巻層体の製造方法は、前述のように、機能層(X)を形成した後、機能層(X)から見て高分子圧電フィルムが配置されている側とは反対側にて、機能層(X)と離型フィルムとを貼り合わせて積層フィルムを形成する工程を含む。高分子圧電フィルムの一方の主面に機能層(X)を形成した場合、高分子圧電フィルムの主面の鉛直方向において、高分子圧電フィルム、機能層(X)及び離型フィルムがこの順に積層された三層の積層フィルムが得られる。高分子圧電フィルムの両方の主面に機能層(X)を形成した場合、高分子圧電フィルムの主面の鉛直方向において、離型フィルム、機能層(X)、高分子圧電フィルム、機能層(X)及び離型フィルムがこの順に積層された五層の積層フィルムが得られる。
本実施形態に係るフィルム巻層体の製造方法は、形成した積層フィルムをロール状に巻回する工程と、を含む。これにより、ロール状のフィルム巻層体が得られる。
本実施形態の製造方法では、高分子圧電フィルムに機能層(X)を形成するときに、高分子圧電フィルム上の機能層形成剤を90℃以下の温度で乾燥させている。そのため、高分子圧電フィルム上の機能層形成剤を90℃超の温度で乾燥させて機能層(X)を形成するときと比較して、高分子圧電フィルムの伸びが抑制されている。その結果、前述のようにして測定される寸法変化率を、MD方向に1.0%以下とすることができる。さらに、本実施形態の製造方法で得られるフィルム巻層体は、寸法安定性が高いため、加熱したときの高分子圧電フィルムへのクラックの発生が抑制され、かつ、高分子圧電フィルムの耐湿熱性に優れる。
フィルム巻層体は、スピーカー、ヘッドホン、タッチパネル、リモートコントローラー、マイクロホン、水中マイクロホン、超音波トランスデューサ、超音波応用計測器、圧電振動子、機械的フィルター、圧電トランス、遅延装置、センサ、加速度センサ、衝撃センサ、振動センサ、感圧センサ、触覚センサ、電界センサ、音圧センサ、ディスプレイ、ファン、ポンプ、可変焦点ミラー、遮音材料、防音材料、キーボード、音響機器、情報処理機、計測機器、医用機器などの種々の分野で利用することができ、デバイスに用いた際のセンサ感度を高く維持することができる点から、特に各種センサの分野でフィルム巻層体を利用することが好ましい。
また、フィルム巻層体は、表示装置と組み合わせたタッチパネルとして用いることもできる。表示装置としては、例えば、液晶パネル、有機ELパネルなどを用いることもできる。
また、フィルム巻層体は、感圧センサとして、他方式のタッチパネル(位置検出部材)と組み合わせて用いることもできる。位置検出部材の検出方式としては抗膜方式、静電容量方式、表面弾性波方式、赤外線方式、光学方式等が挙げられる。
ヘリカルキラル高分子(A)として、NatureWorks LLC社製のポリ乳酸(PLA)(品名:IngeoTM biopolymer、銘柄:4032D、重量平均分子量Mw:20万)を用意し、このポリ乳酸99質量部に対して、下記添加剤X(安定化剤(B))を1質量部添加してドライブレンドし原料を調製した。
調製した原料を押出成形機ホッパーに入れて、220℃~230℃に加熱しながらTダイから押出し、50℃のキャストロールに0.5分間接触させて、厚さ150μmの予備結晶化フィルムを製膜した(成形工程)。得られた予備結晶化フィルムの結晶化度を測定したところ4.91%であった。
得られた予備結晶化フィルムを70℃に加熱しながらロールツーロールで、延伸速度1650mm/分で延伸を開始し、3.5倍までMD方向に一軸延伸し、一軸延伸フィルムを得た(延伸工程)。
その後、一軸延伸フィルムを、ロールツーロールで、130℃に加熱したロール上に78秒間接触させアニール処理した後(アニール工程)、50℃に設定したロールで急冷し、さらにロール状に巻き取ることで、高分子圧電フィルムを得た。
添加剤Xとしては、ラインケミー社製Stabaxol I(70質量部)、及び日清紡ケミカル株式会社製カルボジライトLA-1(30質量部)の混合物を用いた。
上記混合物における各成分の詳細は以下のとおりである。
Stabaxol I … ビス-2,6-ジイソプロピルフェニルカルボジイミド(分子量(=重量平均分子量):363)
カルボジライトLA-1 … ポリ(4,4’-ジシクロヘキシルメタンカルボジイミド)(重量平均分子量:約2000)
製造例1で作製した高分子圧電フィルムに含まれるポリ乳酸の光学純度を、以下のようにして測定した。
まず、50mLの三角フラスコに1.0gのサンプル(上記高分子圧電フィルム)を秤り込み、ここに、IPA(イソプロピルアルコール)2.5mL及び5.0mol/L水酸化ナトリウム溶液5mLを加え、サンプル溶液とした。
次に、このサンプル溶液が入った三角フラスコを温度40℃の水浴に入れ、ポリ乳酸が完全に加水分解するまで、約5時間攪拌した。
上記約5時間の撹拌後のサンプル溶液を室温まで冷却した後、1.0mol/L塩酸溶液を20mL加えて中和し、三角フラスコを密栓してよくかき混ぜた。
次に、上記でかき混ぜたサンプル溶液の1.0mLを25mLのメスフラスコに取り分け、ここに下記組成の移動相を加え、25mLのHPLC試料溶液1を得た。
得られたHPLC試料溶液1をHPLC装置に5μL注入し、下記HPLC測定条件にてHPLC測定を行った。得られた測定結果から、ポリ乳酸のD体に由来するピークの面積とポリ乳酸のL体に由来するピークの面積とを求め、L体の量とD体の量とを算出した。得られた結果に基づき、光学純度(%ee)を求めた。
その結果、光学純度は、97.0%eeであった。なお、下記表1において、「LA」はポリ乳酸を表す。

製造例1で作製した高分子圧電フィルムを、40℃で溶媒〔クロロホルム〕へ溶解させ、濃度1mg/mLのサンプル溶液を準備した。
・測定条件
サンプル溶液0.1mLを溶媒(クロロホルム)、温度40℃、1mL/分の流速でカラムに導入し、カラムで分離されたサンプル溶液中のサンプル濃度を示差屈折計で測定した。ポリ乳酸の分子量は、ポリスチレン標準試料にてユニバーサル検量線を作成し、ポリ乳酸の重量平均分子量(Mw)を算出した。
製造例1で作製した高分子圧電フィルムを10mg正確に秤量し、示差走査型熱量計(パーキンエルマー社製DSC-1)を用い、昇温速度10℃/分の条件で測定し、融解吸熱曲線を得た。得られた融解吸熱曲線から、結晶化度を得た。
製造例1で作製した高分子圧電フィルムについて、規格化分子配向MORcを、王子計測機器株式会社製マイクロ波方式分子配向計MOA-6000により測定した。基準厚さtcは、50μmに設定した。
以下の方法により、製造例1で作製した高分子圧電フィルムの内部ヘイズ(以下、内部ヘイズ(H1)ともいう)を得た。
まず、ガラス板2枚の間に、シリコーンオイル(信越化学工業株式会社製信越シリコーン(商標)、型番:KF96-100CS)のみを挟んだ積層体を準備し、この積層体の厚さ方向のヘイズ(以下、ヘイズ(H2)とする)を測定した。
次に、上記のガラス板2枚の間に、シリコーンオイルで表面を均一に塗らした上記高分子圧電フィルムを挟んだ積層体を準備し、この積層体の厚さ方向のヘイズ(以下、ヘイズ(H3)とする)を測定した。
次に、下記式のようにこれらの差をとることにより、高分子圧電フィルムの内部ヘイズ(H1)を得た。

前述した「応力-電荷法による圧電定数d14の測定方法の一例」に従い、高分子圧電フィルムの圧電定数(詳細には、圧電定数d14(応力-電荷法))を測定した。
アクリル系粘着剤SKダイン1811L(綜研化学株式会社製)10kg、硬化剤TD-75(綜研化学株式会社製)20g、及びトルエン1kgを混合し、接着塗工液を得た。
製造例1で作製した高分子圧電フィルムの一方の主面に、アクリル系樹脂コート液(東洋インキ社製、アンチブロックハードコートLIODURAS TYAB-014)をロールツーロールで塗工した。コート液が塗工された高分子圧電フィルムを80℃の加熱炉で乾燥した後、積算光量500mJ/cm2の紫外線を照射して厚み2μmのハードコート層を形成した。さらに高分子圧電フィルムのもう一方の主面にも同様にして厚み2μmのハードコート層を形成して、両面にハードコート層が形成された高分子圧電フィルムを得た。
製造例2で得た接着塗工液を、離型フィルム(三井化学東セロ株式会社製SP-PET O3-BU)の離型面に対して、リバースグラビアコート方式、ライン速度2.5m/minにより塗布した。接着塗工液を塗布した離型フィルムに、温度100℃の乾燥炉を通過させて接着層を形成した。さらに接着層に対して離型フィルム(三井化学東セロ株式会社製SP-PET O3-BU)の離型面をラミネートしながら巻き取り、ロール状の積層体A(離型フィルム/接着層/離型フィルム)とした。そして、ロール状の積層体Aを1週間室温で保管して硬化を完了させた。接着層の厚みは25μmであった。
上記のようにして得たロール状の積層体Aの片側の離型フィルムをRtoR(ロールトゥロール)で剥離し、接着層に対して製造例1で作製した高分子圧電フィルムをラミネートしながら巻き取り、ロール状の積層体B(離型フィルム/接着層/高分子圧電フィルム)を得た。
さらに、別のロール状の積層体A(離型フィルム/接着層/離型フィルム)の片側の離型フィルムをRtoRで剥離し、露出させた接着層に対して積層体Bの高分子圧電フィルム面をラミネートしながら巻き取り、ロール状の積層体(フィルム巻層体:離型フィルム/接着層/高分子圧電フィルム/接着層/離型フィルム)を得た。
製造例2で得た接着塗工液を、製造例1で製造した高分子圧電フィルムに対して、リバースグラビアコート方式、ライン速度2.5m/minにより塗布した。接着塗工液を塗布した高分子圧電フィルムに、温度70℃の乾燥炉を通過させて接着層を形成した。さらに接着層に対して離型フィルム(三井化学東セロ株式会社製SP-PET O3-BU)の離型面をラミネートしながら巻き取り、ロール状の積層体C(離型フィルム/接着層/高分子圧電フィルム)を得た。
さらに、ロール状の積層体Cの高分子圧電フィルム面に、前述と同様にして接着層を形成し、離型フィルム(三井化学東セロ株式会社製SP-PET O3-BU)の離型面をラミネートしながら巻き取り、ロール状の積層体(フィルム巻層体:離型フィルム/接着層/高分子圧電フィルム/接着層/離型フィルム)を得た。そして、ロール状の積層体を1週間室温で保管して硬化を完了させた。接着層の厚みはそれぞれ25μmであった。
製造例1で作製した高分子圧電フィルムを、製造例3で作製したハードコート層を有する高分子圧電フィルムに変更したこと以外は、実施例1と同様にしてロール状の積層体(フィルム巻層体:離型フィルム/接着層/ハードコート層を有する高分子圧電フィルム/接着層/離型フィルム)を得た。
製造例1で作製した高分子圧電フィルムを、製造例3で作製したハードコート層を有する高分子圧電フィルムに変更したこと以外は、実施例2と同様にしてロール状の積層体(フィルム巻層体:離型フィルム/接着層/ハードコート層を有する高分子圧電フィルム/接着層/離型フィルム)を得た。そして、ロール状の積層体を1週間室温で保管して硬化を完了させた。
乾燥炉の温度を70℃から100℃に変更したこと以外は、実施例2と同様にしてロール状の積層体(フィルム巻層体:離型フィルム/接着層/高分子圧電フィルム/接着層/離型フィルム)を得た。そして、ロール状の積層体を1週間室温で保管して硬化を完了させた。接着層の厚みはそれぞれ25μmであった。
製造例2で得た接着塗工液を、製造例1で作製した高分子圧電フィルムに対し、アプリケーターでハンドコートし、温度100℃のオーブンで乾燥を行い、接着層を形成した。さらに、接着層に対して離型フィルム(三井化学東セロ株式会社製SP-PET O3-BU)の離型面をローラーで貼合し、枚葉の積層体(離型フィルム/接着層/高分子圧電フィルム)を得た。
さらに、上記枚葉の積層体の高分子圧電フィルム面に、前述と同様にして接着層を形成し、離型フィルム(三井化学東セロ株式会社製SP-PET O3-BU)の離型面をローラーで貼合し、枚葉の積層体(離型フィルム/接着層/高分子圧電フィルム/接着層/離型フィルム)を得た。そして、枚葉の積層体を1週間室温で保管して硬化を完了させた。接着層の厚みはそれぞれ25μmであった。
製造例1で作製した高分子圧電フィルムを、製造例3で作製したハードコート層を有する高分子圧電フィルムに変更したこと以外は、比較例1と同様にしてロール状の積層体(フィルム巻層体:離型フィルム/接着層/ハードコート層を有する高分子圧電フィルム/接着層/離型フィルム)を得た。
評価結果を、表2に示す。なお、表2中の「-」は、測定データなしを表す。
積層体から離型フィルムを剥離し、露出した接着層0.5gを溶媒(クロロホルム)に溶解させ、フェノールフタレインを指示薬として0.005M KOH(水酸化カリウム)エタノール溶液によって滴定することで酸価を求めた。
積層体から離型フィルム及び接着層を除去して得られた高分子圧電フィルムを、延伸方向(MD方向)に50mm、延伸方向と直交する方向(TD方向)に50mmカットして、50mm×50mmの矩形フィルムを切り出した。この矩形フィルムを100℃にセットしたオーブン中に吊り下げて、30分間アニール処理した。その後、アニール処理前後のMD方向のフィルム矩形辺長の寸法を高精度デジタル測長機(株式会社ミツトヨ製、ライトマチックVL-50AS)で測定した。そして、下式に従い、寸法変化率(%)を算出し、寸法安定性を評価した。寸法変化率が小さいほど寸法安定性が高いことを示す。

積層体の両面の離型フィルムを剥離し、露出した接着層に東レ製ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂(PET)(銘柄:ルミラーT60-50)を、2kgロールを用いて貼り付けた。これにより、5つの層が積層された積層構造体とした。つまり、積層構造体は、PET/接着層/高分子圧電フィルム/接着層/PETの5層からなる。
上記積層構造体をピナクル刃で50mm×50mmの正方形に打ち抜いた。そして、得られた積層構造体(50mm×50mm)を85℃で500時間加熱した。その後、室温にて24時間放置し、MD方向へのクラック発生有無を目視にて観察し、以下の基準で評価した。
A:積層構造体の高分子圧電フィルムにてクラックがない。
B:積層構造体の高分子圧電フィルムにクラックが発生している。
積層体の製造後24時間以内の高分子圧電フィルムの重量平均分子量を測定した(初期Mw)。次に、製造後24時間以内の積層体から、長手方向50mm×幅方向50mmの矩形の試験片を用意し、この試験片を85℃85%RHに保った恒温恒湿器内に吊り下げ、120時間保持した。この試験片について高分子圧電フィルムの重量平均分子量を測定し(耐湿熱試験後Mw)、下記式で表されるMw維持率について以下の基準で評価した。

C:Mw維持率<0.35
一方、比較例1、3では、高分子圧電フィルムのMD寸法変化率を1.0%以上のフィルム巻層体を作製したが、このフィルム巻層体では、加熱したときに高分子圧電フィルムにクラックが発生した。また、比較例2では、枚葉の積層体を作製したが、高分子圧電フィルムの耐湿熱性が不十分であった。

- 重量平均分子量が5万~100万である光学活性を有するヘリカルキラル高分子(A)を含み、DSC法で得られる結晶化度が20%~80%であり、かつ、マイクロ波透過型分子配向計で測定される基準厚さを50μmとしたときの規格化分子配向MORcと前記結晶化度との積が40~700である高分子圧電フィルムと、
前記高分子圧電フィルムの少なくとも一方の主面上に設けられた機能層(X)と、
を有する積層フィルムがロール状に巻回してなり、
前記積層フィルムから前記機能層(X)を除去して得られた前記高分子圧電フィルムを、100℃で30分間加熱したときの寸法変化率が、MD方向に1.0%以下であるフィルム巻層体。 - 前記機能層(X)の酸価は、10mgKOH/g以下である請求項1に記載のフィルム巻層体。

- 前記高分子圧電フィルムは、可視光線に対する内部ヘイズが50%以下であり、かつ、25℃において応力-電荷法で測定した圧電定数d14が1pC/N以上である請求項1~請求項9のいずれか1項に記載のフィルム巻層体。
