Abstract

A centrifugal fan with an internal motor and a one-side inlet of air, having a rotor with a blade-ring, inside of which a drive motor is located, according to the utility model the fan has a stub (7) forming an extension of the motor's shaft, taken out outside the fan housing through a hole (6) in a rear wall (5) opposite to the inlet of air (4).

Description

The centrifugal fan with an internal motor
The object of the utility model is a centrifugal fan equipped with an internal motor and a one-side inlet of air which is to be used in installations which, among others, are blowing up air into combustions chambers of pellets burners.
There are well-known centrifugal fans with either a one-side or both-sides inlets of air which are driven by motors located outside or inside their rotors. The fans with one-side inlets of air have a shape of a cylinder the side surface of which is formed by a blade-ring of a rotor and the inlet of air is located in a space which surrounds the motor. The base of that cylinder, which is opposite to the inlet of air, is a rear wall of the fan, and it is supposed to be used for its fastening.
According to the utility model the centrifugal fan with the internal motor and the one-side inlet of air is equipped with a blade-ring rotor, inside of which the drive motor is located. In accordance with the utility model the fan has a stub, which is an extension of the motor shaft and it is taken out outside a fan housing through the hole in a wall opposite to the inlet of air. The stub has some worm cutting on its side surface.
According to the concerned utility model this centrifugal fan makes it possible to use its motor for driving other mechanisms taking part in a technological process, especially in the fuel combustion process in the various heating systems. For example, it provides a drive for the whole fuel and air supply assembly, and another, separate motor, for the pellets burner supplying system is not necessary. The stub taken out outside the rear wall of the fun can be used, for example, for connecting the fun's motor with a transmission which in turn can be connected with a fuel feeder.
The subject of the utility model can be seen in the drawing, Fig. l shows a side view of the centrifugal fan with the internal motor, and Fig.2 shows a view from the side opposite to the inlet of air.
The centrifugal fan according to the utility model has a rotor 1 with a blade ring 2, inside of which a drive motor 3 is located. A space surrounding the motor 3 is an inlet of air 4, whereas on the opposite side there is a rear wall 5 of the fan having a centric hole 6. Throughout this hole a cylindrical stub 7 is taken out outside forming an extension of a shaft of the motor 3, which is not shown. The stub 7 has some worm cutting on its side surface, which are not labelled in the drawing.

1. A centrifugal fan with an internal motor and a one-side inlet of air, having a rotor with a blade-ring, inside of which a drive motor is located, characterised in that the fan has a stub (7) forming an extension of the motor's shaft, taken out outside the fan housing through a hole (6) in a rear wall (5) opposite to the inlet of air (4).
2. The fan according to claim 1, characterised in that the stub (7) has some worm cutting on its side surface.
