Description

도전시트 및 도전패턴
본 발명은 도전시트 및 도전패턴에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 전도성을 향상시킬 수 있는 도전시트 및 도전패턴에 관한 것이다.
최근 다양한 전자 제품에서 디스플레이 장치에 표시된 화상에 손가락 또는 스타일러스(stylus) 등의 입력 장치를 접촉하는 방식으로 입력을 하는 터치 패널이 적용되고 있다.
이러한 터치 패널은 크게 저항막 방식의 터치 패널과 정전 용량 방식의 터치 패널로 구분될 수 있다. 저항막 방식의 터치 패널은 입력 장치의 압력에 의하여 유리와 전극이 단락되어 위치가 검출된다. 정전 용량 방식의 터치 패널은 손가락이 접촉했을 때 전극 사이의 정전 용량이 변화하는 것을 감지하여 위치가 검출된다.
저항막 방식의 터치 패널은 반복 사용에 의하여 성능이 저하될 수 있으며 스크래치(scratch)가 발생될 수 있다. 이에 의해 내구성이 뛰어나고 수명이 긴 정전 용량 방식의 터치 패널에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다.
상기 정전 용량 방식의 터치 패널은 터치 명령 입력이 가능한 유효영역과 상기 유효영역 외곽의 비유효 영역으로 정의된다. 상기 유효영역에 형성되는 전극패턴은 디스플레이 장치로부터의 광을 투과시킬 수 있도록 투명한 도전물질로 형성된다.
종래에는 상기 전극패턴이 인듐-주석 산화물(indium tin oxide, ITO)로 형성되었다. 상기 인듐-주석 산화물은 면저항이 높고, 재료 비용이 높으며, 또한 원료 시장에서의 인듐 수급이 불안정한 한계가 있으며, 최근의 추세인 플렉서블 표시장치에 사용되지 못하는 문제가 있다.
최근에는 상기 인듐-주석 산화물(indium tin oxide, ITO)을 대체하기 위해 은나노 와이어와 같은 투명전극 물질에 대한 연구가 이루어지고 있다.
도 1은 종래의 은나노 와이어로 형성된 투명전극에 대한 도면이다.
도 1을 참조하면, 종래에는 물질과 제조공정의 제약에 의해 은나노 와이어(200)의 종횡비가 제한되고, 고투과율을 위해 100nm 수준의 작은 직경으로 제조하여, 결과적으로 5um 내지 10um의 비교적 짧은 길이의 은나노 와이어(200)를 투명전극에 적용하였다.
상기 은나노 와이어(200)가 투명전극에 적용되기 위해서는 높은 전도도가 요구되나 종래의 은나노 와이어(200)의 경우에는 짧은 길이로 인해 각각의 은나노 와이어(200) 간의 단선이 많아 전도도가 낮아지는 문제점이 있었다.
또한, 도 2와 같이 각각의 은나노 와이어(200)의 표면에는 유기막(210)이 존재하여, 은나노 와이어(200) 간의 접촉영역의 저항이 증가하고, 각각의 은나노 와이어(210)를 전기적으로 연결하기 위해 별도의 처리공정이 추가되어 제조단가가 상승하는 문제점이 있었다.
본 발명의 일 과제는 광투과성을 유지하면서 전도성을 향상시키는 도전시트 및 도전패턴을 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 다른 과제는 제조단가를 절감하는 도전시트 및 도전패턴을 제공하는 것이다.

상기 제1 나노 구조체는 제1 단과 제2 단을 구비하고, 상기 제1 단은 상기 도전패턴의 제1 측면과 제1 점에서 만나고, 상기 제2 단은 상기 도전 패턴의 제2 측면과 제2 점에서 만나며, 상기 제1 점과 상기 제2 점 사이의 거리는 상기 제1 나노 구조체의 길이보다 짧을 수 있다.

이하, 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 도전시트에 대하여 설명한다.
도 3은 실시 예에 따른 도전시트를 나타내는 상면도이다.
도 3을 참조하면, 실시 예에 따른 도전시트(1)는 다수의 나노 구조체(10) 및 매트릭스(20)를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 나노 구조체(10)는 종횡비가 10만이상인 나노 파이버일 수 있다. 상기 나노 구조체(10)의 폭은 1um이하일 수 있다.
상기 나노 구조체(10)는 금속물질을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 금속물질은 은(silver), 금(gold), 구리(copper), 니켈(nickel), 금-도금 은(goldplated silver), 백금(platinum) 및 팔라듐(palladium)을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 나노 구조체(10)가 은을 포함하는 경우 상기 나노 구조체(10)를 은나노 구조체라 정의할 수 있다. 또는, 상기 나노 구조체(10)는 금속물질만으로 형성될 수도 있다.
상기 나노 구조체(10)는 작은 폭으로 형성되어 육안으로 시인할 수 없고, 상기 나노 구조체(10)를 포함하는 도전시트(1)는 높은 광투과성이 보장된다.
상기 매트릭스(20)는 상기 도전시트(1)의 본체를 구성하고, 상기 나노 구조체(10)가 내부로 분산되거나 내장되는 고체상태의 재료를 지칭한다.
상기 매트릭스(20)는 외부로부터 상기 나노 구조체(10)를 보호하는 역할을 할 수 있다. 상기 매트릭스(20)는 상기 나노 구조체(10)의 산화를 방지할 수 있다. 상기 매트릭스(20)는 상기 도전시트(1)가 기판 등의 다른 부재에 부착되는 경우 접착력을 제공할 수도 있다.
상기 나노 구조체(10)는 상기 매트릭스(20)와 직접 접촉할 수 있다. 즉, 상기 나노 구조체(10)의 외면은 상기 매트릭스(20)와 직접 접촉할 수 있다.
상기 매트릭스(20)는 전도성 폴리머를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 매트릭스(20)가 전도성 폴리머를 포함하는 경우 상기 매트릭스(20)는 전하의 이동경로를 제공할 수 있다. 상기 매트릭스(20)가 전하의 이동경로를 제공함으로써 상기 도전시트(1)가 전극으로 사용되는 경우 상기 매트릭스(20)는 보조전극의 역할을 할 수 있다.
상기 전도성 폴리머는 폴리아세틸렌, 폴리티오펜, 폴리피롤, 폴리파라페닐린, 폴리파라페닐렌 비닐렌, PEDOT:PSS 및 탄소 나노튜브 등이 사용될 수 있으며, 이에 한정하지 않는다.
상기 다수의 나노 구조체(10)는 종횡비가 10만 이상으로, 길이가 긴 구조로 형성되므로, 각각의 나노 구조체(10)는 다른 나노 구조체(10)와의 관계에서 A영역과 같은 다수의 교차점을 가질 수 있다.
도 4는 도 3의 A영역을 확대한 도면이다. 도 4a는 도 3의 A영역에 대한 상면도이고, 도 4b는 도 4a를 X-X`를 따라 절단한 단면도이다.
도 4를 참조하면, 실시 예에 따른 다수의 나노 구조체(10)는 제1 나노 구조체(11) 및 제2 나노 구조체(13)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 다수의 나노 구조체(10)는 원기둥 형상으로 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제1 나노 구조체(11)는 상기 제2 나노 구조체(13)와 교차할 수 있다. 상기 제1 나노 구조체(11)와 상기 제2 나노 구조체(13)가 교차하는 영역을 교차영역(15)으로 정의할 수 있다.
상기 제1 나노 구조체(11)는 제1 비교차영역(11a) 및 제1 교차영역(11b)을 포함하고, 상기 제2 나노 구조체(13)는 제2 비교차영역(13a) 및 제2 교차영역(13b)을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제1 교차영역(11b) 및 제2 교차영역(13b)은 상기 제1 나노 구조체(11)와 제2 나노 구조체(13)가 교차하는 영역으로 교차영역(15)을 구성한다. 상기 제1 나노 구조체(11) 및 제2 나노 구조체(13)는 상기 교차영역(15)에서 전기적으로 연결된다. 즉, 상기 제1 교차영역(11b) 및 제2 교차영역(13b)은 전기적으로 연결된다.
상기 제1 비교차영역(11a)과 상기 제2 비교차영역(13a)은 동일한 폭을 가질 수 있다. 상기 제1 비교차영역(11a)과 상기 제2 비교차영역(13a)은 동일한 두께를 가질 수 있다. 상기 동일한 폭과 동일한 두께는 동일한 값을 가지는 경우 뿐만 아니라, 설계상 동일한 값으로 설계하였으나, 공정시 오차 범위 내의 차이 값이 발생하는 경우도 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제1 비교차영역(11a) 및 상기 제2 비교차영역(13a)은 제1 폭(w1)으로 형성될 수 있다. 상기 제1 비교차영역(11a) 및 상기 제2 비교차영역(13a)은 제1 두께(h1)로 형성될 수 있다.
상기 교차영역(15)은 상기 제1 비교차영역(11a) 및 제2 비교차영역(13a)의 두께의 합보다 작은 두께로 형성될 수 있다. 즉, 상기 교차영역(15)은 제1 두께(h1)의 2배보다 작은 제2 두께(h2)로 형성될 수 있다.
상기 교차영역(15)은 상기 제1 비교차영역(11a) 및 제2 비교차영역(13a)의 폭보다 큰 폭으로 형성될 수 있다. 즉, 상기 제1 교차영역(11b) 및 제2 교차영역(13b)은 제1 폭(w1) 보다 큰 제2 폭(w2)으로 형성될 수 있다.
상기 교차영역(15)에서 상기 제1 교차영역(11b)과 제2 교차영역(13b)의 접촉시 두께가 줄어들고 두께가 줄어드는 만큼 폭이 늘어난다.
상기 제1 교차영역(11b)은 상기 제1 비교차영역(11a)에 비해 작은 두께를 가지고 큰 폭을 가지나, 상기 제1 교차영역(11b)은 상기 제1 비교차영역(11a)과 동일한 단면적을 가질 수 있다. 즉, 상기 제1 교차영역(11b)의 임의의 지점에서 상기 제1 두께(h1) 방향으로 절단한 단면적은 상기 제1 비교차영역(11b)의 임의의 지점에서 상기 제2 두께(h2) 방향으로 절단한 단면적과 동일할 수 있다.
결론적으로 상기 제1 교차영역(11b)과 제1 비교차영역(11a)을 포함하는 제1 나노 구조체(11)는 전 영역에서 동일한 단면적을 가질 수 있다. 상기 제1 교차영역(11b)과 제1 비교차영역(11a)의 단면적은 수치상 동일한 값을 가지는 경우 뿐만 아니라, 설계상으로는 동일한 값으로 설계하였으나, 공정시 오차 범위 내의 단면적 차이가 발생하는 경우도 포함할 수 있다.상기 제1 나노 구조체(11)의 X-X`방향을 길이방향이라 하고, 상기 제1 나노 구조체(11)를 동일한 길이로 분할하는 경우 각각의 분할된 영역은 동일한 부피를 가질 수 있다. 즉, 상기 제1 교차영역(11b)을 임의의 길이로 분할하고, 상기 제1 비교차 영역(11a)을 상기 임의의 길이로 분할하면, 분할된 제1 교차영역(11b)의 일부분과 분할된 제1 비교차 영역(11a)의 일부분은 동일한 부피를 가질 수 있다.
상기 제2 교차영역(13b)은 상기 제2 비교차영역(13a)에 비해 작은 두께를 가지고 큰 폭을 가지나, 상기 제2 교차영역(13b)은 상기 제2 비교차영역(13a)과 동일한 단면적을 가질 수 있다. 즉, 상기 제2 교차영역(13b)의 임의의 지점에서 상기 제2 두께(h2) 방향으로 절단한 단면적은 상기 제2 비교차영역(13b)의 임의의 지점에서 상기 제2 두께(h2) 방향으로 절단한 단면적과 동일할 수 있다.
결론적으로 상기 제2 교차영역(13b)과 제2 비교차영역(13a)을 포함하는 제2 나노 구조체(13)는 전 영역에서 동일한 단면적을 가질 수 있다. 상기 제2 교차영역(13b)과 제2 비교차영역(13a)의 단면적은 수치상 동일한 값을 가지는 경우 뿐만 아니라, 설계상으로는 동일한 값으로 설계하였으나, 공정시 오차 범위 내의 단면적 차이가 발생하는 경우도 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제2 나노 구조체(13)가 연장된 방향을 길이방향이라 하고, 상기 제2 나노 구조체(13)를 동일한 길이로 분할하는 경우 각각의 분할된 영역은 동일한 부피를 가질 수 있다. 즉, 상기 제2 교차영역(13b)을 임의의 길이로 분할하고, 상기 제2 비교차 영역(13a)을 상기 임의의 길이로 분할하면, 분할된 제2 교차영역(13b)의 일부분과 분할된 제2 비교차 영역(13a)의 일부분은 동일한 부피를 가질 수 있다.
도 5는 실시 예에 따른 전계방사장치를 나타내는 도면이다.
도 5를 참조하면, 실시 예에 따른 전계방사장치(30)는 노즐(31), 주사기(32), 주사기 펌프(33), 전원 공급부(34) 및 컬렉터(35)를 포함한다.
상기 노즐(31)은 상기 주사기(32)와 연결되고, 상기 주사기(32)는 주사기 펌프(33)와 연결될 수 있다. 상기 주사기(32)에는 방사용액이 주입되고, 상기 주사기 펌프(33)는 상기 주사기(32)로 압력을 제공한다. 상기 주사기(32)에 주입된 방사용액은 상기 주사기 펌프(33)로부터의 압력에 의해 상기 방사용액을 상기 노즐(31)로 전달할 수 있다.
상기 방사용액은 금속물질 및 폴리머를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 방사용액은 상기 금속물질과 폴리머의 혼합용액일 수 있다.
상기 주사기 펌프(33)는 상기 주사기(32)로 제공되는 압력을 조절하여 상기 노즐(31)을 통해 방사되는 방사용액의 양을 일정하게 조절하는 역할을 할 수 있다.
상기 전원 공급부(34)는 상기 노즐(31) 및 컬렉터(35)와 전기적으로 연결되고, 상기 전원 공급부(34)는 상기 노즐(31) 및 컬렉터(35)에 전압을 공급할 수 있다.
상기 전원 공급부(34)에 의해 상기 노즐(31) 및 컬렉터(35)에 전압이 가해지면, 상기 노즐(31)과 컬렉터(35) 사이에는 전계가 형성되고, 상기 전계의 세기가 상기 방사용액의 표면 장력과 같은 경우 전하를 띈 방사용액은 상기 노즐(31)의 끝부분에 맺히게 된다.
이 때, 상기 방사용액이 가지고 있는 표면장력 이상의 전압을 걸어주면 접지방향인 컬렉터(35) 방향으로 나노 섬유(40)가 분사된다. 이러한 과정의 나노 섬유(40) 생성방법을 전계방사법이라 한다.
실시 예에서는 나노 섬유(40) 생성방법으로 전계방사법을 예로 들어 설명하였으나, 이에 한정하지는 않는다.
상기 전계방사법을 통해 전원 공급부(34)로부터의 전압과 상기 주사기 펌프(33)를 통해 주입되는 압력을 조절함으로써 얇은 폭을 가지고, 종횡비가 긴 나노 섬유(40)를 생성할 수 있다.
상기 전계방사법을 통해 생성된 나노 섬유(40)는 금속물질 및 폴리머를 포함할 수 있다.
이후 상기 나노 섬유(40)의 폴리머를 제거하여 도 3 및 도 4의 금속물질만을 포함하는 나노 구조체(10)를 형성할 수 있다.
상기의 과정을 통해 얇은 폭을 가지는 나노 구조체(10)를 형성할 수 있어 도전시트(1)의 광투과율이 향상되는 효과가 있다.
또한, 종횡비가 큰, 결과적으로 길이가 긴 나노 구조체(10)를 형성할 수 있어 단위 개수의 나노 구조체(10)당 교차하는 나노 구조체(10)의 개수가 증가한다. 단위 개수의 나노 구조체(10)당 교차하는 나노 구조체(10)의 개수가 증가함으로써 나노 구조체(10) 사이의 전하 이동경로가 많아져, 결과적으로 도전시트(1) 전체의 전도성이 향상되는 효과가 있다. 즉, 서로 다른 나노 구조체(10)가 전기적으로 연결되는 교차점이 많아져 도전시트(1) 전체의 전도성이 향상되는 효과가 있다.
상기 나노 섬유(40)의 폴리머는 열처리를 통해 제거될 수 있다.
상기 나노 섬유(40)의 폴리머 제거과정에서 상기 제1 나노 구조체(11) 및 제2 나노 구조체(13)는 상기 교차영역(15)에서 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다. 즉, 상기 폴리머 제거과정에서 가해지는 열에 의해 상기 제1 교차영역(11b) 및 제2 교차영역(13b)의 일부가 녹아 상기 제1 교차영역(11b) 및 제2 교차영역(13b)은 제1 비교차영역(11a) 및 제2 비교차영역(13a)에 비해 폭이 커진다. 상기 폴리머 제거과정에서 가해지는 열에 의해 상기 제1 교차영역(11b) 및 제2 교차영역(13b)의 일부가 녹은 후 응고되는 과정에서 상기 제1 교차영역(11b) 및 제2 교차영역(13b)은 일체로 응고될 수 있다. 상기 제1 교차영역(11b) 및 제2 교차영역(13b)이 일체로 응고됨으로써 상기 교차영역(15)은 비교차영역과 유사한 수준의 전기전도성을 가질 수 있다.
상기 제1 교차영역(11b) 및 제2 교차영역(13b)의 폭은 상기 제1 비교차영역(11a) 및 제2 비교차영역(13a)의 폭보다 1.2 배 내지 1.8배 커질 수 있다.
또한, 상기 폴리머 제거과정에서의 열에 의해 상기 교차영역(15)은 제1 비교차영역(11a) 및 제2 비교차영역(13a)의 두께의 합보다 작은 두께로 형성될 수 있다.
상기 교차영역(15)의 두께는 상기 제1 비교차영역(11a) 및 제2 비교차영역(13a)의 두께의 합의 0.6배 내지 0.9배일 수 있다.
상기 교차영역(15)의 폭을 비교차영역에 비해 1.2배 내지 1.8배 커지도록 형성하고, 두께를 비교차영역의 두께의 합의 0.6배 내지 0.9배로 형성함으로써 교차하는 나노 구조체(10)간의 접촉면적이 커지고, 이를 통해, 교차하는 나노 구조체(10) 간의 전하이동이 원활해지며 이에 따라 접촉저항이 감소한다. 교차하는 나노 구조체(10) 간의 접촉저항이 감소함으로써 도전시트(1) 전체의 전도성이 향상되는 효과가 있다. 또한, 나노 구조체(10)간의 접촉면적이 커짐으로써 도전시트(1)의 안정성이 향상될 수 있는 효과가 있다.
즉, 교차하는 나노 구조체(10)의 일부가 녹은 후 응고되는 과정에서 제1 교차영역(11b) 및 제2 교차영역(13b) 간의 결합력이 향상되어 외부 충격에 의해 나노 구조체(10)의 일부가 이탈되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
상기 교차영역(15)의 두께를 상기 비교차영역의 두께의 합의 0.9배 초과로 형성한다면 접촉저항 감소효과가 적어 전도성 향상이 효과가 작아진다.
실시 예에서는 이러한 도전시트(1)의 전도성 향상 효과를 폴리머 제거과정을 통해 얻을 수 있어 표면에 유기막이 존재하는 은나노 와이어의 교차영역 처리과정에 비해 간이한 방법으로 전도성을 향상시킬 수 있어 제조단가를 절감할 수 있다. 또한, 한번의 과정으로 폴리머 제거와 교차영역의 처리를 동시에 실시할 수 있어 제조수율이 향상되는 효과가 있다.
상기 교차영역(15)의 두께를 상기 비교차영역의 두께의 합의 0.6배 미만으로 형성하기 위해서는 폴리머 제거과정 이후에 별도의 교차영역 처리과정이 필요하다. 이 경우 별도의 처리과정이 추가되어 제조단가가 상승하고, 제조 수율이 저하된다.
따라서, 상기 교차영역(15)의 두께를 비교차영역의 두께의 합의 0.6배 내지 0.9배로 형성함으로써, 전도성을 향상시킬 수 있고, 제조단가를 절감하고, 제조수율을 향상시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다.
도 6은 실시 예에 따른 전극패턴의 일부를 나타내는 도면이다.
도 6에서는 전극패턴의 일부에 하나의 나노 구조체를 도시하고 나머지 나노 구조체를 생략하여 도시하였을 뿐 전극패턴의 일부에는 다수의 나노 구조체가 형성되어 있다.
도 6을 참조하면, 상기 전극패턴(51)은 상기 도전시트(1)를 패터닝하여 형성될 수 있다. 상기 전극패턴(51)은 도전시트(1)를 포토리소그래피 공정을 통해 패터닝하여 형성할 수 있다. 상기 도전시트(1)는 상기 전극패턴(51)을 패터닝하여 형성하므로 나노 구조체(10) 및 매트릭스(20)를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 전극패턴(51)은 사각형상을 가질 수 있다. 상기 전극패턴(51)은 제1 측면(51a), 제2 측면(51b), 제3 측면(51c) 및 제4 측면(51d)을 가질 수 있다. 상기 제1 측면(51a)은 제3 측면(51c)과 대향하는 면이고, 상기 제2 측면(51b)은 제4 측면(51d)과 대향하는 면으로 정의된다. 상기 제2 측면(51b)은 상기 제1 측면(51a) 및 제3 측면(51c)과 인접하는 면이고, 상기 제4 측면(51d)은 상기 제1 측면(51a) 및 제3측면(51c)과 인접하는 면이다. 도면에서는 전극패턴(51)을 사각형상으로 도시하여 설명하였으나, 상기 전극패턴(51)은 사각형상 외에 다양한 형상을 가질 수 있고, 상기 전극패턴(51)의 형상은 사각형상에 한정되지 않는다.
상기 매트릭스(20)가 도전시트(1)의 본체를 구성하므로 상기 제1 내지 제4 측면(51a 내지 51d)은 포토리소그래피 공정에 의해 패터닝된 단면일 수 있다.
상기 나노 구조체(10) 또한 포토리소그래피 공정에 의해 패터닝된 단면을 가질 수 있다. 즉, 상기 포토리소그래피 공정에 의해 패터닝된 면을 지나는 나노 구조체(10)는 패터닝되어 단면을 가질 수 있다.
상기 나노 구조체(10) 중 양단이 패터닝된 나노 구조체(10)는 상기 전극패턴(51)의 측면과 접하는 제1 단(10a) 및 제2 단(10b)을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 제1 단(10a)과 상기 제2 단(10b)은 각각 상기 전극패턴(51)의 측면과 제1 점(P) 및 제2 점(Q)에서 만난다.

상기 나노 구조체(10)는 종횡비가 크고, 결과적으로 길이가 길어 전극패턴(51)의 서로 다른 측면과 만나는 제1 단(10a)과 제2 단(10b)이 생성될 수 있다.
도시하지는 않았지만, 상기 제1 점(P)과 제2 점(Q) 사이를 잇는 직선은 상기 나노 구조체(10)와 교차할 수도 있다. 즉, 상기 제1 점(P)과 제2 점(Q) 사이를 잇는 직선을 긋는 경우 상기 직선과 상기 나노 구조체(10)는 적어도 한 점에서 교차할 수 있다. 상기 교차하는 점은 상기 제1 점(P)과 제2 점(Q) 이외의 점일 수 있다.
상기 나노 구조체(10)는 형상이 정해지지 않은 곡선 형상을 가질 수 있으므로, 상기 나노 구조체(10)는 상기 제1 단(10a) 및 제2 단(10b) 사이에서 상기 제1 점(P)과 제2 점(Q) 사이의 직선과 교차하는 영역이 존재할 수 있다. 상기 제1 점(P)과 제2 점(Q) 사이의 직선은 가상의 선일 수 있다.
길이가 긴 나노 구조체(10)를 형성함으로써 단위 개수의 나노 구조체(10)당 교차하는 나노 구조체(10)의 개수가 증가한다. 단위 개수의 나노 구조체(10)당 교차하는 나노 구조체(10)의 개수가 증가함으로써 나노 구조체(10) 사이의 전하 이동경로가 많아져, 결과적으로 전극패턴(51)의 전도성이 향상될 수 있는 효과가 있다.
도 7은 실시 예에 따른 터치패널을 나타내는 분해사시도이고, 도 8은 실시 예에 따른 터치패널을 나타내는 상면도이다.
도 7및 도 8을 참조하면, 실시 예에 따른 터치패널은 제1 기판(50), 제2 기판(60), 커버 기판(70) 및 인쇄회로기판(80)을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제2 기판(60)은 상기 커버 기판(70)의 하부에 위치하고, 상기 제1 기판(50)은 상기 제2 기판(60)의 하부에 위치한다.
상기 커버 기판(70)은 상기 제2 기판(60)에 부착될 수 있다. 상기 커버 기판(70)과 상기 제2 기판(60)은 광학 투명 접착제(Optical Clear Adhesive, OCA) 등의 접착 물질을 이용하여 접착될 수 있다.
상기 제1 기판(50)은 상기 제2 기판(60)에 부착될 수 있다. 상기 제1 기판(50)은 상기 제2 기판(60)과 광학 투명 접착제(Optical Clear Adhesive, OCA) 등의 접착 물질을 이용하여 접착될 수 있다.
상기 제1 기판(50) 및 제2 기판(60)은 폴리 에틸렌 테레프탈레이트(poly ethylene terephthalate, PET) 등의 플라스틱을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제1 기판(50) 및 제2 기판(60)에는 전극패턴 및 배선패턴이 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제1 기판(50)에는 제1 전극패턴(51) 및 제1 배선패턴(53)이 형성될 수 있고, 상기 제2 기판(60)에는 제2 전극패턴(61) 및 제2 배선패턴(63)이 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제1 전극패턴(51)은 제1 방향으로 형성될 수 있다. 상기 제1 전극패턴(51)은 상기 제1 배선패턴(53)과 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다.
상기 제2 전극패턴(61)은 제2 방향으로 형성될 수 있다. 상기 제2 방향은 상기 제1 방향과 교차하는 방향일 수 있다. 상기 제2 전극패턴(61)은 상기 제1 전극패턴(51)과 교차하는 방향으로 형성될 수 있다. 상기 제2 전극패턴(61)은 상기 제2 배선패턴(63)과 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다.
상기 터치패널은 유효영역(AA) 및 비유효영역(UA)을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 유효영역(AA)은 사용자의 터치 명령 입력이 가능한 영역을 의미하며, 상기 비유효 영역(UA)은 상기 유효영역(AA)의 외곽에 위치하는 사용자의 터치가 이루어짐에도 활성화되지 않아 터치 명령 입력이 이루어지지 않는 영역을 의미한다.
상기 터치패널이 표시패널에 부착되어 사용되는 경우 상기 터치패널의 유효 영역(AA) 및 비유효 영역(UA)은 표시장치의 표시영역 및 비표시 영역과 대응될 수 있다. 상기 표시 영역은 화상을 표시하는 영역이고 상기 비표시 영역은 화상을 표시하지 않는 영역이다. 따라서, 상기 터치패널의 유효 영역(AA)은 광을 투과할 수 있는 영역으로 구성되어야 하고, 상기 터치패널의 비유효 영역(UA)은 광을 투과하지 않는 영역으로 구성될 수 있다.
상기 유효영역(AA)에는 다수의 전극패턴이 형성될 수 있다. 상기 제1 기판(50)의 유효 영역(AA)에는 다수의 제1 전극패턴(51)이 형성될 수 있고, 상기 제2 기판(60)의 유효 영역(AA)에는 다수의 제2 전극패턴(61)이 형성될 수 있다.
상기 비유효 영역(UA)에는 다수의 배선패턴이 형성될 수 있다. 상기 제1 기판(50)의 비유효 영역(UA)에는 다수의 제1 배선패턴(53)이 형성될 수 있고, 상기 제2 기판(60)의 비유효 영역(UA)에는 다수의 제2 배선패턴(63)이 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제1 전극패턴(51)은 상기 제1 배선패턴(53)과 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다. 상기 제1 전극패턴(51)은 상기 제1 배선패턴(53)과 일체로 형성될 수도 있고, 상기 제1 전극패턴(51)은 상기 제1 배선패턴(53)과 별개로 형성될 수도 있다.
상기 제2 전극패턴(61)은 상기 제2 배선패턴(63)과 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다. 상기 제2 전극패턴(61)은 상기 제2 배선패턴(63)과 일체로 형성될 수도 있고, 상기 제2 전극패턴(61)은 상기 제2 배선패턴(63)과 별개로 형성될 수도 있다.
상기 제1 전극패턴(51) 및 제2 전극패턴(61)은 도 6에서 도시한 전극패턴일 수 있다. 상기 제1 전극패턴(51) 및 제2 전극패턴(61)은 도 6에서 도시한 단위 전극패턴의 집합체일 수 있다. 즉, 상기 제1 전극패턴(51) 및 제2 전극패턴(61)은 다수의 단위 전극패턴이 연결된 구조를 가질 수 있다. 상기 제1 전극패턴(51) 및 제2 전극패턴(61)은 상기 다수의 단위 도전패턴 중 적어도 하나 이상을 포함하여 하나의 터치화소를 형성할 수 있다.
도 6에서는 상기 제1 전극패턴(51)을 예로 들어 설명하였으나, 상기 제2 전극패턴(61) 또한 동일한 형상을 가질 수 있다. 즉, 상기 제1 전극패턴(51)및 제2 전극패턴(61)은 나노 구조체 및 매트릭스를 포함할 수 있다. 전술한 바 대로, 상기 나노 구조체는 큰 종횡비를 통해 긴 길이를 가지므로, 고전도성을 가지는 전극패턴을 제공할 수 있다. 상기 제1 전극패턴(51) 및 제2 전극패턴(61)이 고전도성을 가짐으로써 RC지연을 줄일 수 있어, 제1 전극패턴(51) 및 제2 전극패턴(61)에 의해 전달되는 신호의 왜곡을 방지할 수 있다. 이로써 상기 터치패널에 의해 감지되는 터치의 감도 및 신뢰성을 향상시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다.
도면에서는 상기 전극패턴을 마름모 형상으로 연결된 것을 도시하였으나, 이에 한정하지 않고, 상기 전극패턴은 바형상등 여러 형상으로 형성될 수 있다.
상기 커버 기판(70)은 유리 또는 플라스틱을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 커버 기판(70)은 강화 유리, 반강화유리, 소다라임 유리, 강화 플락스틱 또는 연성 플라스틱을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 인쇄회로기판(80)은 상기 제1 기판(50) 및 제2 기판(60)에 부착될 수 있다. 상기 인쇄회로기판(80)은 상기 제1 기판(50) 및 제2 기판(60)의 일 측에 부착될 수 있다. 상기 인쇄회로기판(80)은 상기 제1 기판(50) 및 제2 기판(60)의 일측에 부착되어 상기 제1 배선패턴(53) 및 제2 배선패턴(63)과 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다. 상기 인쇄회로기판(80)과 부착되는 상기 제1 기판(50) 및 제2 기판(60)의 일 측에는 이방성 전도성 필름(Anisotropic Conductive Film, ACF)이 도포될 수 있다. 상기 인쇄회로기판(80)은 상기 이방성 전도성 필름에 의해 상기 제1 배선패턴(53) 및 제2 배선패턴(63)에 전압을 인가할 수 있다.
상기 인쇄회로기판(80)은 잘 휘어질 수 있는 연성회로기판(Flexible Printed Circuit Board, FPCB)일 수 있다. 상기 인쇄회로기판(80)에는 상기 제1 및 제2 배선패턴(53, 63)을 통해 상기 제1 및 제2 전극패턴(51, 61)으로부터 센싱 신호를 전달받고 이를 제어하는 제어부가 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제어부는 왜곡되지 않은 상기 센싱신호를 전달받아 연산하여 터치를 검출함으로써 왜곡신호 보상과정을 생략할 수 있고, 보다 빠른 연산을 통해 터치를 검출할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
도 9는 실시 예에 따른 터치패널이 적용되는 표시장치에 대한 사시도이다.
도 9를 참조하면 상기 표시장치(100)에는 외부로부터 명령 입력을 위한 입력버튼(110), 정지영상 및 동영상 촬영을 위한 카메라(120) 및 음성을 출력하는 스피커(130)가 형성될 수 있다.
상기 표시장치(100)는 앞서 설명한 터치패널 및 표시패널(미도시)을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 터치패널은 상기 표시패널(미도시)의 전면에 형성되어 상기 표시장치(100)의 상면으로 커버 글라스(70)가 노출될 수 있다. 상기 표시패널(미도시)은 상기 터치패널에 부착될 수 있다.
상기 표시패널(미도시)은 화상을 표시할 수 있다. 상기 표시패널(미도시)은 액정표시패널 또는 유기발광 표시패널일 수 있으며, 모바일 폰, TV, 네비게이션 장치 등 다양한 제품에 적용될 수 있다.
본 발명의 실시예들에 따른 터치패널이 적용되는 장치로 표시장치를 예로 들어 설명하였으나, 본 발명의 실시예들에 따른 터치패널이 적용되는 장치는 이에 한정되지 않고, 키패드, 노트북용 터치 패드, 차량용 터치 입력 장치 등 다양한 제품에 이용될 수 있다.
상기에서는 본 발명에 따른 실시예를 기준으로 본 발명의 구성과 특징을 설명하였으나 본 발명은 이에 한정되지 않으며, 본 발명의 사상과 범위 내에서 다양하게 변경 또는 변형할 수 있음은 본 발명이 속하는 기술분야의 당업자에게 명백한 것이며, 따라서 이와 같은 변경 또는 변형은 첨부된 특허청구범위에 속함을 밝혀둔다.

Claims (19)

  1. 서로 교차하며 배치되는 제1 나노 구조체 및 제2 나노 구조체를 포함하고,
    상기 제1 나노 구조체와 제2 나노 구조체의 교차영역의 두께는 상기 제1 나노 구조체와 제2 나노 구조체의 비교차영역의 두께의 합의 0.6 배 내지 0.9배인
    도전시트.
  2. 제1 항에 있어서,
    상기 도전시트는 상기 제1 나노 구조체와 제2 나노 구조체를 수용하는 매트릭스를 포함하고,
    상기 매트릭스는 상기 제1 나노 구조체 및 제2 나노 구조체와 직접 접촉하는
    도전시트.
  3. 제1 항에 있어서,
    상기 제1 나노 구조체와 제2 나노 구조체는 상기 교차영역에 의해 서로 전기적으로 연결되는
    도전시트.
  4. 제1 항에 있어서,
    상기 제 1 나노 구조체와 제 2 나노 구조체는 금속물질과 폴리머의 혼합용액이 방사되어 형성된 것이며, 상기 교차영역은 방사 후 상기 폴리머가 제거되어 형성되는
    도전시트.
  5. 제1 항에 있어서,
    상기 교차영역의 폭은 상기 비교차영역의 폭보다 1.2배 내지 1.8배 큰
    도전시트.
  6. 제1 항에 있어서,
    상기 제1 나노 구조체와 제2 나노 구조체는 10만이상의 종횡비를 가지는
    도전시트.
  7. 제1 항에 있어서,
    상기 제1 나노 구조체 및 제2 나노 구조체는 전계방사법에 의해 형성되는
    도전시트.
  8. 제1 항에 있어서,
    상기 제1 나노 구조체는 상기 교차영역과 비교차 영역에서 동일한 단면적을 가지는 도전시트.
  9. 하나의 터치화소를 형성하는 단위 도전패턴을 적어도 하나 이상 포함하는 도전패턴에 있어서,
    상기 단위 도전패턴 내에서 서로 교차하며 배치되는 제1 나노 구조체 및 제2 나노 구조체를 포함하고,
    상기 제1 나노 구조체와 제2 나노 구조체의 교차영역의 두께는 상기 제1 나노 구조체와 제2 나노 구조체의 비교차영역의 두께의 합의 0.6 배 내지 0.9배인
    도전패턴.
  10. 제9 항에 있어서,
    상기 제1 나노 구조체는 제1 단과 제2 단을 구비하고,
    상기 제1 단은 상기 도전패턴의 제1 측면과 제1 점에서 만나고,
    상기 제2 단은 상기 도전 패턴의 제2 측면과 제2 점에서 만나며,
    상기 제1 점과 상기 제2 점 사이의 거리는 상기 제1 나노 구조체의 길이보다 짧은
    도전패턴.
  11. 제10 항에 있어서,
    상기 제1 측면과 상기 제2 측면은 서로 인접하는 측면인
    도전패턴.
  12. 제10 항에 있어서,
    상기 제1 측면과 상기 제2 측면은 서로 대향하는 측면인
    도전패턴.
  13. 제9 항에 있어서,
    상기 도전패턴은 상기 제1 나노 구조체와 제2 나노 구조체를 수용하는 매트릭스를 포함하고,
    상기 매트릭스는 상기 제1 나노 구조체 및 제2 나노 구조체와 직접 접촉하는
    도전패턴.
  14. 제9 항에 있어서,
    상기 제1 나노 구조체와 제2 나노 구조체는 상기 교차영역에 의해 서로 전기적으로 연결되는
    도전패턴.
  15. 제9 항에 있어서,
    상기 제 1 나노 구조체와 제 2 나노 구조체는 금속물질과 폴리머의 혼합용액이 방사되어 형성된 것이며, 상기 교차영역은 방사 후 상기 폴리머가 제거되어 형성되는
    도전패턴.
  16. 제9 항에 있어서,
