- the signal conditioning circuit (2.2) located in the interface card (2) converts the discrete control and condition signals coming from the pilot mission grip (K), aircraft (H) and/or gun unit (T) via a data interface (6) into digital data and sends them to the control circuit (2.1) comprising a controller. Similarly, it converts the digital data output from the control circuit (2.1) to discrete control signals and sends them to the gun unit (T) that will be controlled.
- the resolver interface circuit (2.3) converts the position information coming from the azimuth and elevation resolver sensors (i.e. angle sensors) located in the gun unit (T) via the data interface (6) into digital data and sends them to the control circuit (2.1). Furthermore, it converts the digital position error data, which comes from the control circuit (2.1) and is required to direct the gun unit (T), to resolver information and transmits it to the gun unit (T).
- the communication circuit (2.4) enables the gun weapon interface unit (1) and the mission computer (G) to communicate with each other via the communication interface (8) (preferably via the MIL-STD-1760D data bus).

Abstract
La présente invention concerne une unité d'interface d'arme à feu (1) qui permet de commander des unités de canon (T) d'aéronefs (H), et de déclencher le tir de ces dernières, et qui comprend dans l'ensemble au moins une carte d'interface (2), qui est conçue pour générer des signaux de commande en fonction des signaux discrets de commande et d'état venant à cette dernière et pour transmettre ces signaux à l'unité de canon (T) qui sera commandée et pour établir une communication de données avec un ordinateur de mission (G); au moins une carte de puissance (3) qui est conçue pour fournir la puissance nécessaire; au moins une planche principale (4) sur laquelle sont montées la carte d'interface (2) et la carte de puissance (3); au moins un circuit filtrant (5) qui est conçu pour éviter les interférences électromagnétiques des lignes d'alimentation; au moins une interface de données (6) qui fournit une interface de connexion pour recevoir des données de la poignée de contrôle du pilote (K), de l'aéronef (H) et/ou de l'unité de canon (T) et envoyer des données à l'unité de canon (T); au moins une interface de puissance (7) qui fournit une entrée de puissance afin de fournir de la puissance à la carte de puissance (3); au moins une interface de communication (8) qui fournit une interface de connexion pour permettre une communication avec un ordinateur de mission (G); au moins une interface de test (9) qui fournit une interface de connexion pour tester l'unité par le biais d'un ordinateur externe (B).
