Description
AN INTELLIGENT SINK
FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates generally to wash basins, to facilitate the process of washing hands especially among children and people with disabilities. In the present invention, the wash basin automatically adjusts its height according to height of a user.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The main purpose of creation of a wa s h basin is for washing hands, especially before and after meals, for the Malay community. However, the wash basin will usually be found in every home, restaurant, food courts / shop and everywhere for the washing process. Specifically, there is no was h basin that is currently available that can automatically adjust its height according to height of users and, is easy-to-use too.
Basically the existing wash basins in the market are fixed on a wall, so high, and their height cannot be adjusted according to the height of consumers. Thus, the existing wash basins are not user friendly, especially for children and users with disabilities. In the conventional method of using a wash basin/sink for children, it usually requires help of mother or father or guardian to lift or support the child for the process of washing hands. There are also some children who use a chair as a support tool to increase their height for the process of washing hands. This method is not safe for children as they may fall off the seat.
Another common problem with the existing design of the wash basin is difficulty to the disabled when they want to use the wash basin.. This is because most wash basins are designed and manufactured for normal user with a height of 29 inches to 39 inches. Thus, the wheelchair user is unable to use the sink easily, because the position of the existing wash basins are relatively high.
Therefore, there is a need for a simple, but effective, was h basin wh i c h i s ava i l a b l e at an inexpensive price, good quality and that combines the functions of a fully automated system in a simple wash basin, and focusses on the needs of children and disabled consumers.

This product consists of a mechanical structure to cover the body sinks on the first part. Where, the second part of this product is electronic, it consists of electronic devices, sensors and on the like to make the product l-SINK function in a fully automated manner.
Thus, to facilitate the process of washing hands in the sink, l-SINK is provided with a hand washing system using latest technology with the use of sensors. The process of washing hands becomes much easier, especially for consumers such as children and the disabled. The next features of l-SINK are its full automation system and that it is easy to use and secure (userfriendly).
This present invention will provide a new alternative to the owner of food shop, restaurants, food franchise operators, rest & relaxation (R&R), child care (TASKA/TASKI), school (primary/secondary) / education institution, hospital, shopping complex, office, or the like. l-SINK is user friendly, especially for children because they can continue to use the wash basin, without the help of their parents or guardian for washing their hands. l-SINK also features a user friendly concept, because users do not need to press any switch by hand to adjust the height of the basin to an appropriate level (it is sensor operated). The users can also continue to wash their hands without turning on the water tap. This is because l-SINK also focuses on the use of automated technology in applications, using automatic water faucet.
Indirectly, it will avoid transferring bacteria and viruses to the user. The sink will automatically adjust the height according to the height of user.
