Definitions
- the present invention relates to an information processing system that performs remote access by a wearable terminal.
- wearable terminals that can be worn and carried around have been proposed and started to be put into practical use.
- a typical one there is a device that is worn on the head like glasses called a head-mounted display and displays an image near the eye.
- Patent Document 1 proposes a system that performs user authentication by reading a retina and iris in a user's eyeball using a head-mounted display. According to Patent Document 1, the burden on the user is reduced and the information integrity that does not depend on the user's morality is improved.
- Patent Document 1 does not take into account that the user may disassemble or process the head mounted display maliciously. For example, if the device that reads the retina and iris for authentication and the device that outputs the rays of the image to be displayed are physically separated, the head-mounted display is removed from the user's head. It is also possible to take out an image to the outside in a state where no is detected. If the image can be taken out, information leakage due to electronic data may occur due to photographing with a digital camera.
- An object of one aspect of the present invention is to provide a technique for improving information integrity in an information processing system capable of remote access.
- a wearable terminal is a wearable terminal that is worn on a user's head, and is configured inseparably from a reading unit that acquires a biological information image obtained by photographing the user's eyes, and the reading unit.
- the reading unit projects a display image in an optical path that overlaps the optical path for acquiring the biological information image, a communication unit that communicates with a remote access server, and performs authentication of the user based on the biological information image.
- a processing unit that accesses the remote access server via the communication unit when a typical authentication result is obtained.
- the reading unit and the projection unit are inseparable, and the optical path from which the reading unit acquires the biological information image and the optical path from which the projection unit projects the display image overlap, so that not only the third party but also the user It is difficult to take out the display image displayed after authentication by biometric information by disassembling or processing the wearable terminal with malicious intent, and data leakage in remote access is suppressed, and information integrity is improved. .

- the wearable terminal 10 is a glasses-type computer worn on the user's head.
- the display screen of the computer is projected onto a translucent eyeglass lens, and the user can see the display screen and the surroundings at the same time.
- the wearable terminal 10 can be used as an input device with, for example, an external keyboard 18 connected thereto.
- FIG. 2 is a block diagram of the wearable terminal 10 according to the first embodiment.
- FIG. 3 is a diagram for explaining a mounting form of the reading unit 11 and the projection unit 12 of the wearable terminal 10.
- FIG. 4 is a block diagram of the information processing system according to the first embodiment.
- the wearable terminal 10 includes a reading unit 11, a projection unit 12, a processing unit 13, a communication unit 14, and an optical system 15.
- the reading unit 11 acquires a biological information image obtained by photographing the user's eyes and transmits it to the processing unit 13.
- the biological information image is an iris image as an example.
- the projection unit 12 is configured inseparably from the reading unit 11, and the reading unit 11 projects a display image through an optical path that overlaps the optical path from which the biological information image is acquired. As shown in FIG. 3, the reading unit 11 and the projection unit 12 are inseparably configured by a sealing unit 16 formed by filling a resin. If the projection unit 12 is forcibly separated from the reading unit 11 or the optical path of the reading unit 11 and the optical path of the projection unit 12 are separated, the wearable terminal 10 itself is destroyed and becomes inoperable.
- the wearable terminal 10 is connected to the authentication server 21 and the remote access server 22 via the network 23.

- the reading unit 11 and the projection unit 12 are inseparable, and the optical path from which the reading unit 11 obtains a biological information image and the optical path from which the projection unit 12 projects a display image overlap each other in hardware. Since the wearable terminal 10 has tamper resistance, it is difficult to take out the display image by disassembling or processing the wearable terminal 10 without destroying it. Not only a third party but also a user can take out a display image displayed through authentication based on biometric information maliciously. Therefore, the integrity of information against fraud by the user is improved, and data leakage in remote access is suppressed.
- the reading unit 11 and the projection unit 12 are sealed by resin filling, and it is difficult to take out a display image to the outside by disassembling or deforming the wearable terminal 10. Suppression of outflow can be easily realized.
- the optical system 15 includes a half mirror 17, and forms an optical path through which an iris image from the eye 19 to the reading unit 11 and a display image from the projection unit 12 to the eye 19 pass. The image reaches the eye 19.
- the optical system 15 superimposes the light from the object around and the light of the display image from the projection unit 12 to reach the user's eye 19. Since the user can see the background as well as the display image on the virtual display, for example, the user can operate while looking at both the hand operating the keyboard 18 and the virtual display. Is possible.

- the iris data is a histogram representing the characteristics of the user's iris generated from the iris image, and is data that can identify individual users.
- the iris data may be encrypted data.
- FIG. 7 is a sequence diagram illustrating a remote access operation of the information processing system according to the first embodiment.
- the wearable terminal 10 reads an iris image from the user's eye 19 (step 101).
- the wearable terminal 10 generates iris data from the read iris image and transmits it to the authentication server 21 together with its own terminal ID (step 102).
- the authentication server 21 Upon receiving the terminal ID and the iris data, the authentication server 21 performs the iris authentication of the user by checking whether or not the data matching the combination of the received terminal ID and the iris data exists in the user registration data held in advance. (Step 103). Here, it is assumed that there is data in the user registration data that matches the combination of the received terminal ID and iris data. Therefore, a positive authentication result can be obtained in iris authentication.
- the authentication server 21 transmits the authentication result to the wearable terminal 10 (step 104). Further, since a positive authentication result is obtained, the authentication server 21 enables the wearable terminal 10 to communicate with the remote access server 22 by redirection (step 105).

- the authentication result of authentication using the iris data and the user registration data is received from the authentication server 21. For this reason, it is not necessary to store the personal information of the user in each wearable terminal 10.
- the authentication server 21 stores the iris data and the terminal ID of the wearable terminal 10 as user registration data in association with each other, and the wearable terminal 10 stores the terminal ID of its own device in the iris data based on the iris image.
- the authentication server 21 performs authentication by comparing the stored iris data and the corresponding terminal ID with the received iris data and the terminal ID added thereto. Since authentication is performed with the user and the wearable terminal 10 as a pair, a legitimate user cannot perform remote access without using the wearable terminal 10 associated with the user and can maintain higher security.
- FIG. 8 is a flowchart showing the operation at the start of remote access of the wearable terminal 10 according to the first embodiment. Each process in FIG. 8 is mainly executed by the processing unit 13 or is controlled by the processing unit 13.

Then, the wearable terminal 10 generates iris data from the read iris image, transmits the iris data and the terminal ID of its own device to the authentication server 21, and makes an authentication request (step 303).
- the wearable terminal 10 receives the authentication result from the authentication server 21, determines whether the authentication result is affirmative or negative (step 304), and returns to step 301 if the authentication result is affirmative. If the authentication result is negative, for example, the wearable terminal 10 displays on the screen that authentication NG has occurred (step 305), and stops remote access to the remote access server 22 (step 306). At this time, since the authentication server 21 has also obtained a negative authentication result, access to the remote access server 22 of the wearable terminal 10 is prohibited. The remote access can be stopped, for example, by prohibiting the wearable terminal 10 from accessing the remote access server 22 and stopping the projection of the display screen.
