Abstract

본 발명은 석유 코크스를 이산화탄소 가스화를 통해 탄소 성분을 일산화탄소로 전환하고 황 성분은 고체상으로 분리하여 생산하는 석유 코크스 탈황 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 방법 및 장치는 석유 정제 과정에서 발생되는 고유황 성분의 석유 코크스를 이산화탄소 가스화를 통해 탄소 성분을 일산화탄소로 전환하고 황성분은 고체상으로 분리할 수 있다. 본 발명의 방법 및 장치는 종래 석유 코크스의 가스화 공정에서 대량으로 발생되는 H2S, COS의 발생을 원천적으로 방지할 수 있다. 본 발명은 저렴한 비용으로 석유 코크스를 사용하여 일산화탄소를 생산할 수 있다.
