La présente invention concerne : une composition cosmétique ayant comme fonction le blocage des rayons ultraviolets ; et un produit cosmétique comprenant une éponge insoluble dans l'eau imprégnée avec la composition cosmétique, et ayant comme effet d'atténuer le problème de l'absorption d'un agent bloquant les rayons ultraviolets dans l'éponge insoluble dans l'eau, présentant ainsi totalement l'effet de blocage des rayons ultraviolets (facteur/taux de protection contre les rayons ultraviolets) qui est prévisible de l'agent bloquant les rayons ultraviolets contenu dans la composition cosmétique.
