Description
本发明属于液晶显示技术领域,具体地讲,涉及一种能够避免量子点膜片破裂且能够使导光板的入光侧面色度一致的背光模块及具有该背光模块的液晶显示器。
随着信息社会的发展,人们对平板显示器的需求得到了快速的增长。液晶显示器(Liquid Crystal Display,简称LCD)具有体积小、功耗低、无辐射等特点,在当前的平板显示器市场占据了主导地位。通常液晶显示器包括相对设置的液晶显示面板及背光模块,其中,由于液晶显示面板无法自身发光,所以其必须借用背光模块提供的背光而显示影像。
在现有的背光模块中,通常采用白光发光二极管(LED)作为背光光源,通过导光板和光学膜片等的合理搭配实现液晶显示面板所需的背光。随着人们对高色域、高色彩饱和度、节能的要求越来越高,目前背光中实现白光光源、高色域、高色彩饱和度的方案包括:利用紫外LED配合RGB荧光粉实现;利用蓝光LED配合红绿荧光粉;利用蓝光LED加绿光LED加红光LED等。这些方案都可以提高色域,但是实施起来较为困难,并且成本较高。
量子点(Quantum Dot,简称QD)技术,是把电子束缚在一定范围内的半导体纳米材料结构技术,其由尺寸大小在1~100nm的超小化合物结晶体构成。在量子点技术中,可利用不同尺寸大小的结晶体控制光的波长,进而精确控制光的颜色。因此,量子点材料被广泛应用于背光模块中,其中,采用高频谱光源(例如蓝光LED)取代传统白光LED光源,量子点在高频光源的照射小,可被激光产生不同波长的光,通过调整量子点材料的尺寸大小,即可调节合成光的颜色,实现高色域的液晶显示装置的背光要求。
图1是一种现有的采用量子点膜片的背光模块。参照图1,将蓝光发光二
极管(LED)11设置在导光板12的入光侧面121,量子点被封装在膜片内形成量子点膜片13,其中,量子点膜片13设置在蓝光发光二极管11与导光板12的入光侧面121之间。蓝光发光二极管11发出的蓝光经过量子点膜片13而照射到导光板12的入光侧面121上,以实现背光模块所需的白色背光。但是,采用这种方式时,量子点膜片13制作复杂、成本较高,并且由于量子点膜片13的厚度较薄,在其长度较长时易于出现膜片破裂的现象。
发明内容
为了解决上述现有技术存在的问题,本发明的目的在于提供一种背光模块,包括:导光板,具有至少一入光侧面;光源条,邻近于所述入光侧面设置;多条量子点膜片,所述多条量子点膜片排列于所述光源条与所述入光侧面之间;其中,所述光源条发出的光经过所述量子点膜片照射到所述入光侧面上。
进一步地,所述量子点膜片包括有效区和无效区,其中,每条量子点膜片的无效区与相邻的量子点膜片的有效区面对。
进一步地,所述光源条包括间隔排列的多个第一光源和多个第二光源,其中,每个第一光源面对相应的量子点膜片的有效区,每个第二光源面对相应的量子点膜片的无效区。
进一步地,所述第一光源为蓝光发光二极管,所述第二光源为白光发光二极管。
进一步地,所述量子点膜片贴附于所述入光侧面上。
本发明的另一目的还在于提供一种液晶显示器,包括相对设置的背光模块及液晶显示面板,所述背光模块提供显示光源给所述液晶显示面板,以使所述液晶显示面板显示影像,所述背光模块包括:导光板,具有至少一入光侧面;光源条,邻近于所述入光侧面设置;多条量子点膜片,所述多条量子点膜片间隔排列于所述光源条与所述入光侧面之间;其中,所述光源条发出的光经过所述量子点膜片照射到所述入光侧面上。
进一步地,所述量子点膜片包括有效区和无效区,其中,每条量子点膜片的无效区与相邻的量子点膜片的有效区间隔面对。
进一步地,所述光源条包括间隔排列的多个第一光源和多个第二光源,其中,每个第一光源面对相应的量子点膜片的有效区,每个第二光源面对相应的量子点膜片的无效区。
进一步地,所述第一光源为蓝光发光二极管,所述第二光源为白光发光二极管。
进一步地,所述量子点膜片贴附于所述入光侧面上。
本发明通过将多条尺寸较短的量子点膜片排列在光源与导光板的入光侧面之间,以代替现有技术的一条尺寸较长的量子点膜片,而尺寸较短的量子点膜片制作较为简单、成本较低,并且不易出现膜片破裂的现象,提高量子点膜片的安全可靠性。进一步地,本发明通过将每条量子点膜片的无效区面对的光源设置为白光发光二极管,从而使导光板的入光侧面形成色度一致的白光分布,提高背光模块的光学品味。

以下,将参照附图来详细描述本发明的实施例。然而,可以以许多不同的形式来实施本发明,并且本发明不应该被解释为限制于这里阐述的具体实施例。相反,提供这些实施例是为了解释本发明的原理及其实际应用,从而使本领域的其他技术人员能够理解本发明的各种实施例和适合于特定预期应用的各种修改。
图2是根据本发明的实施例的液晶显示装置的结构示意图。
参照图2,根据本发明的实施例的液晶显示装置包括液晶显示面板200及与液晶显示面板200相对设置的背光模块100,其中,背光模块100提供显示光源给液晶显示面板200,以使液晶显示面板200显示影像。
液晶显示面板200通常包括薄膜晶体管(Thin Film Transistor,简称TFT)阵列基板210、与TFT阵列基板相对设置的彩色滤光片(Color Filter,简称CF)基板220以及夹设于TFT阵列基板210与CF基板220之间的液晶层230,其中,液晶层230中包括若干液晶分子。由于本实施例的液晶显示面板200的具体结构与现有技术的液晶显示面板的结构基本一致,所以在此不再详细描述。
以下将对根据本发明的实施例的背光模块100的具体结构进行详细的描述。
图3是根据本发明的实施例的背光模块的侧视示意图。图4是根据本发明的实施例的背光模块的俯视示意图。
参照图3,根据本发明的实施例的背光模块100包括:导光板110、光源条120、三条量子点膜片130、第一增亮膜片141和第二增亮膜片142、扩散膜片150、反射片160。但是,本发明的量子点膜片130的数量不以图3所示为限,其可根据实际需求任意调整。
具体而言,导光板110包括入光侧面111、出光面112及底面113。光源条120邻近于导光板110的入光侧面111设置。三条量子点膜片130间隔排列在光源条120与导光板110的入光侧面111之间,其中,光源条120发出的光经过三条量子点膜片130后照射到导光板110的入光侧面111上。第一增亮膜片141、第二增亮膜片142、扩散膜片150依序设置在导光板110的出光面112之上,其中,第一增亮膜片141和第二增亮膜片142用于汇聚由出光面112出射的光,以提高由出光面112出射的光的亮度;扩散膜片150用于提升经第一增亮膜片141和第二增亮膜片142后的光的向上亮度,并将经第一增亮膜片141和第二增亮膜片142后的光柔散化,从而向液晶显示面板200提供均匀的面光源。反射片160设置在导光板110的底面之下,用于将由导光板110的底面出射的光反射回导光板110中,以提供导光板110中光的利用率。
如此,通过将三条尺寸较短的量子点膜片130间隔排列在光源条120与导光板110的入光侧面111之间,利用三条尺寸较短的量子点膜片130代替现有技术的一条尺寸较长的量子点膜片,而尺寸较短的量子点膜片130制作较为简单、成本较低,并且不易出现膜片破裂的现象,提高量子点膜片130的安全可靠性。
此外,针对根据本发明的实施例的量子点膜片130,由于封装制程的限制,在每条量子点膜片130的一端会形成无效区132,所以根据本发明的实施例的量子点膜片130包括有效区131和无效区132,其中,有效区131指的是分布有量子点的区域,而无效区132指的是无量子点的区域。应当理解的是,当相邻的两条量子点膜片130之间具有较小距离的间隔时,无效区132也包括该较小距离的间隔。
由于根据本发明的实施例的量子点膜片130包括有效区131和无效区132,所以根据本发明的实施例的光源条120包括第一光源121和第二光源122。其中,第一光源121的数量可根据实际需求任意设置,在本实施例中,第一光源121的数量为9个。第二光源122的数量也可根据实际需求任意设置,在本实施例中,优选的,第二光源122的数量与无效区132的数量相同,为3个。
第一光源121可例如是高频的蓝光发光二极管(LED),但本发明并不限制于此。通过高频的蓝光LED照射量子点膜片130的有效区131中的量子点材料,激发量子点材料产生不同色彩的光,从而产生液晶显示装置所需的白色背光。第二光源122可例如是白光发光二极管,但本发明并不限制于此。白光LED发光的光直接通过量子点膜片130的无效区132照射至导光板110的入光侧面111,从而作为液晶显示装置的白色背光。
这样,通过将每条量子点膜片130的无效区132面对的光源设置为白光发光二极管,从而使导光板110的入光侧面111形成色度一致的白光分布,提高背光模块100的光学品味。
另外,在根据本发明的实施例中,为了实现量子点膜片130的固定,优选的,将三条量子点膜片130贴附在导光板110的入光侧面111上。但本发明并不限制于此,也可利用其他合适类型的固定方式固定三条量子点膜片130。
虽然已经参照特定实施例示出并描述了本发明,但是本领域的技术人员将理解:在不脱离由权利要求及其等同物限定的本发明的精神和范围的情况下,可在此进行形式和细节上的各种变化。
Claims (16)
- 一种背光模块,其中,包括:导光板,具有至少一入光侧面;光源条,邻近于所述入光侧面设置;多条量子点膜片,所述多条量子点膜片排列于所述光源条与所述入光侧面之间;其中,所述光源条发出的光经过所述量子点膜片照射到所述入光侧面上。
- 根据权利要求1所述的背光模块,其中,所述量子点膜片包括有效区和无效区,其中,每条量子点膜片的无效区与相邻的量子点膜片的有效区面对。
- 根据权利要求2所述的背光模块,其中,所述光源条包括间隔排列的多个第一光源和多个第二光源,其中,每个第一光源面对相应的量子点膜片的有效区,每个第二光源面对相应的量子点膜片的无效区。
- 根据权利要求3所述的背光模块,其中,所述第一光源为蓝光发光二极管,所述第二光源为白光发光二极管。
- 根据权利要求1所述的背光模块,其中,所述量子点膜片贴附于所述入光侧面上。
- 根据权利要求2所述的背光模块,其中,所述量子点膜片贴附于所述入光侧面上。
- 根据权利要求3所述的背光模块,其中,所述量子点膜片贴附于所述入光侧面上。
- 根据权利要求4所述的背光模块,其中,所述量子点膜片贴附于所述入光侧面上。
- 一种液晶显示器,包括相对设置的背光模块及液晶显示面板,所述背 光模块提供显示光源给所述液晶显示面板,以使所述液晶显示面板显示影像,其中,所述背光模块包括:导光板,具有至少一入光侧面;光源条,邻近于所述入光侧面设置;多条量子点膜片,所述多条量子点膜片间隔排列于所述光源条与所述入光侧面之间;其中,所述光源条发出的光经过所述量子点膜片照射到所述入光侧面上。
- 根据权利要求9所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述量子点膜片包括有效区和无效区,其中,每条量子点膜片的无效区与相邻的量子点膜片的有效区间隔面对。
- 根据权利要求10所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述光源条包括间隔排列的多个第一光源和多个第二光源,其中,每个第一光源面对相应的量子点膜片的有效区,每个第二光源面对相应的量子点膜片的无效区。
- 根据权利要求11所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述第一光源为蓝光发光二极管,所述第二光源为白光发光二极管。
- 根据权利要求9所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述量子点膜片贴附于所述入光侧面上。
- 根据权利要求10所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述量子点膜片贴附于所述入光侧面上。
- 根据权利要求11所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述量子点膜片贴附于所述入光侧面上。
- 根据权利要求12所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述量子点膜片贴附于所述入光侧面上。
