Description

Display device and display method
The present invention relates to a display device and a display method.
In recent years, there is a demand for downsizing image forming apparatuses. Therefore, in an image forming apparatus including a touch panel, the hardware key is deleted, and a soft key is displayed on the touch panel (screen) as an alternative to the hardware key. Therefore, downsizing of the image forming apparatus is realized. However, when displaying a soft key on the touch panel, the display size of the soft key is determined depending on the size of the touch panel. Therefore, the smaller the touch panel size, the smaller the soft key display size. As a result, the operability of the soft key is lowered for the user.
Therefore, in the image forming apparatus described in Patent Document 1, a soft keyboard is displayed on the touch panel and a hardware keyboard is connected. The user switches the screen displayed on the touch panel by operating a soft key, and performs key input by operating a hardware keyboard.
