  • the electrical communication (between the electrical contact points) allow a signal current to be transferred from the electrical contact point on the back housing of a mobile electronic device enclosure to the electrical contact point on the mounting head, wherein the signal current activates a coil in the mounting head configured to inductively communicate power from a power source included in the mounting head to one or more mobile electronic devices removably coupled to the back housing of a mobile electronic device enclosure.

  • a lock anchor configured to engage with the lock of a mounting head; and positioned within a first indentation sized to engage the second male component of a mounting head.
  • the back housing further comprises a second or more indentations positioned, together with the first indentation, along at least a portion of a circumference, and sized to engage the second male component of a mounting head so as to align the back housing of a mobile electronic device enclosure with a mounting head in one or more discrete rotational orientations.
  • the back housing further comprises at least one electrical contact point configured to be in electrical communication with at least one electrical contact point on a mounting head when an indentation of the back housing of a mobile electronic device enclosure is engaged with a second male component of a mounting head.
  • the back housing further comprises one or more cable openings that allow access to ports on the mobile electronic device allowing accessories, such as cables, to be plugged in to the mobile electronic device, while it is held by the back housing.
  • the cable openings may also be used to allow audio from speakers of the mobile electronic device to exit the back housing.
  • the back housing further comprises one or more ventilation openings for ventilation of the mobile electronic device, while it is held in the back housing.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système pour accueillir et pour verrouiller des dispositifs électroniques mobiles à des stations d'accueil et à des supports. Le système comprend une tête de montage, et un boîtier arrière d'une enceinte de dispositif électronique mobile. Le boîtier arrière de l'enceinte de dispositif électronique mobile peut être fixé de manière amovible à la tête de montage. Le boîtier arrière comprend un ancrage de verrou conçu pour venir en prise avec un verrou de la tête de montage ; et il est positionné à l'intérieur d'une première indentation dimensionnée pour venir en prise avec un second composant mâle de la tête de montage.
