The fastener 10 is used to attach the connector member 12 to a member to be attached such as a vehicle body panel or an interior panel. The fastener 10 includes a connecting portion 40 that is connected to the attaching portion 22 of the connector member 12 and a fixing portion 42 that is fixed to the attaching hole of the vehicle body panel. The connecting portion 40 has an insertion wall 48 that is inserted into the rail groove 25 of the connector member 12. The insertion wall 48 functions as an insertion portion that is inserted between the pair of rail grooves 25 when connected to the connector member 12. The fixing part 42 inserts the elastic claw body 72 into the attachment hole, engages it with the back edge of the attachment hole, and sandwiches the member to be attached between the elastic claw body 72 and the flange part 44, whereby the fastener 10 is attached to the vehicle body panel. Fix it.
The connecting portion 40 connects the connector member 12 and the fastener 10 by inserting the insertion wall 48 of the fastener 10 from the insertion port 24 of the connector member 12 and sliding it with respect to the rail groove 25. The configuration in which the fastener 10 is slid and attached along the longitudinal direction of the main body 20, and the connector attachment structure 14 is arranged in the direction orthogonal to the configuration in which the fastener 10 is slid in the direction orthogonal to the vehicle body panel. Can be small. In the embodiment, the longitudinal direction of the main body 20 is the extending direction in which the rail groove 25 extends, and is the same as the sliding direction in which the fastener 10 slides.
By the way, the connector member 12 is formed of a resin material harder than the fastener 10 for connecting metal wiring. The fastener 10 is formed of a resin material softer than the connector member 12 in order to bend the elastic claw 72 and fix it to the vehicle body panel. By making the fastener 10 and the connector member 12 separate, even when the fastener 10 is damaged when the connector mounting structure 14 is removed from the vehicle body panel, only the fastener 10 can be replaced. When the connector member 12 is replaced, it is necessary to remove all the wirings and reconnect them. Therefore, it is preferable that only the fastener 10 can be replaced. Further, by forming the fastener 10 with a resin material softer than the connector member 12, it becomes possible to suppress rattling and vibration noise with respect to the vehicle body panel. The members of the connector member 12 and the fastener 10 will be described with reference to new drawings.
2 (a) is a front view of the connector member 12, and FIG. 2 (b) is a bottom view of the connector member 12. FIG. FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA of the connector member 12 shown in FIG. Here, the same or equivalent components and members shown in the drawings are denoted by the same reference numerals, and repeated description thereof is omitted as appropriate.
The attachment part 22 of the connector member 12 has a pair of rail grooves 25, an elastic locking part 26, a support wall 31, and a back wall part 33. As shown in FIG. 2A, the rail groove 25 is formed in a groove shape by the rail bottom portion 28, the rail side wall portion 34, and the main body lower surface 30, and extends in the longitudinal direction.
The pair of rail side walls 34 hang down from the side surface of the main body 20 and face each other. The rail bottom portion 28 is formed to bend the lower end of the rail side wall portion 34 and faces the lower surface 30 of the main body. The pair of rail bottom portions 28 are formed apart from each other, and a part of the fastener 10 slides therebetween.
As shown in FIG. 2B, the elastic locking portion 26 extends along the longitudinal direction and can be bent, and faces the lower surface 30 of the main body. The elastic locking portion 26 is formed between the pair of rail bottom portions 28 and separated from the rail bottom portion 28. A projecting locking portion 26 a is provided at the tip of the elastic locking portion 26. The locking portion 26 a of the elastic locking portion 26 locks the insertion wall 48 of the fastener 10.
As shown in FIG. 2 (b), the pair of rail bottom portions 28 are connected by a support wall 31 on the base side of the elastic locking portion 26. The elastic locking portion 26 extends from the support wall 31 toward the insertion port 24. As shown in FIG. 2B, the end portion of the support wall 31 functions as a stopper 32 that restricts the sliding of the fastener 10 on the base side of the elastic locking portion 26. The mounting portion 22 forms a housing space for the insertion wall 48 of the fastener 10 by the pair of rail grooves 25, the main body lower surface 30, and the support wall 31.
4 (a) and 4 (b) are perspective views of the fastener 10 as seen from different directions. FIG. 5A is a left side view of the fastener 10, and FIG. 5B is a front view of the fastener 10. FIG. 6 is a bottom view of the fastener 10. 7A is a cross-sectional view taken along line BB of the fastener 10 shown in FIG. 6, and FIG. 7B is a cross-sectional view taken along line CC of the fastener 10 shown in FIG. is there.
The fastener 10 includes a connecting portion 40 that is connected to the connector member 12 and a fixing portion 42 that is fixed to the mounting hole of the vehicle body panel. The mounting hole of the vehicle body panel is formed in a long hole shape, and restricts the rotation of the fastener 10 fixed to the mounting hole.
The fixing portion 42 includes an umbrella-shaped flange portion 44, a pair of column portions 70, a pair of elastic claws 72, a first contact piece 76a and a second contact piece 76b (if they are not distinguished from each other, “contact” A piece 76 ").
The flange portion 44 is formed so as to project outward in the radial direction from the lower surface of the base portion 46. In the fixed state, the front end of the flange portion 44 contacts the surface of the vehicle body panel. As shown in FIG. 5A, the pair of column portions 70 hang down from the lower surface of the base portion 46, and the lower ends are connected to the pedestal portion 71.
The pair of elastic claws 72 are formed so as to be folded back from at least one of the lower end of the column part 70 and the pedestal part 71. The elastic claw body 72 extends toward the flange portion 44 and can be bent. A claw portion 74 is formed in a plurality of steps on the distal end side of the elastic claw body 72. The pair of elastic claws 72 are bent so as to come into contact with and approach the edge of the attachment hole when inserted into the attachment hole, the claw portion 74 is engaged with the rear edge of the attachment hole, and the fixing portion 42 is the vehicle body panel. Fixed to. By forming a plurality of the claw portions 74 in a step shape, the claw portions 74 can be locked to the vehicle body panels having different thicknesses.
As shown in FIG. 7B, the contact piece 76 is erected from the pedestal 71 between the pair of pillars 70 and is formed in a plate shape. The tip of the contact piece 76 is separated from the base portion 46 to be a free end, and the contact piece 76 is configured to be easily bent. As shown to Fig.7 (a), the top part 77 which protrudes on the outermost part in the middle is formed in the side edge part of the contact piece 76, and it forms in a taper shape toward the front-end | tip. By forming the side edge of the contact piece 76 in a tapered shape, it can be brought into contact with a vehicle body panel having a different thickness. Further, when the edge of the mounting hole exceeds the top 77 during insertion into the mounting hole, the tapered side edge of the contact piece 76 guides the insertion.
As shown in FIG. 6, each of the first contact piece 76a and the second contact piece 76b protrudes in the opposite direction and contacts the rear edge of the attachment hole when attached to the attachment hole. Thereby, in addition to a pair of elastic nail | claw body 72, since the fastener 10 can be supported by a pair of contact piece 76, it becomes a 4 point stop and it becomes possible to suppress the rattling to 4 directions.
As shown in FIG. 4A and FIG. 4B, the connecting portion 40 includes a plate-like base portion 46, a first standing portion 50a and a second standing portion 50b that are erected from the base portion 46. When not distinguished, it is referred to as “standing portion 50”), an insertion wall 48 supported by the standing portion 50, and an elastic piece 52 formed on the insertion wall 48. The insertion wall 48 is inserted between the pair of rail grooves 25 of the connector member 12 from the front end portion 48a. The elastic piece 52 is formed on the rear end portion 48 b side of the insertion wall 48, and is positioned rearward in the insertion direction with respect to the connector member 12.
The base 46 has a first lower rib 66a, a second lower rib 66b, and a third lower rib 66c that protrude toward the insertion wall 48 side. The first lower rib 66a is provided at the root of the first standing portion 50a, and the second lower rib 66b is provided at the root of the second standing portion 50b. The first lower rib 66a and the second lower rib 66b increase the strength of the upright portion 50 and abut against or close to the lower surface of the rail bottom portion 28 when the connector member 12 is connected, thereby preventing rattling of the connector member 12. suppress.
The third lower rib 66 c is in contact with or close to the lower surface of the support wall 31 when the connector member 12 is connected, and suppresses rattling of the connector member 12. The base portion 46 has a step portion 60 that protrudes toward the insertion wall 48. The step portion 60 is formed at the rear end of the base portion 46 in the insertion direction.
As shown in FIG. 5 (b), the standing portion 50 is separated from both side ends of the base portion 46 and the insertion wall 48, and is located on the inner side from both side ends. Thereby, when the connector member 12 is connected, the rail bottom portion 28 of the connector member 12 enters between the base portion 46 and the insertion wall 48 outside the standing portion 50. The first erected portion 50a and the second erected portion 50b are located at positions shifted in the width direction, and the connector member 12 is elastically locked in the gap between the first erected portion 50a and the second erected portion 50b. Part 26 enters. The second standing portion 50b is provided on the rear end portion 48b side and supports the elastic piece 52 bent downward.
As shown in FIG. 5A, the standing portion 50 is located on the rear side in the insertion direction in the longitudinal direction. Thereby, the front side of the insertion direction of the insertion wall 48 can be bent easily. The first erected portion 50a and the second erected portion 50b are located at positions that are separated from each other in the longitudinal direction. Thereby, when the fastener 10 is die-cut-molded, the fastener 10 can be molded by the mold divided into two along the longitudinal direction, so that the mold structure can be simplified.
The wall-shaped insertion wall 48 faces the base 46. As shown in FIG. 7B, an engaging portion 64 that engages with the elastic locking portion 26 of the connector member 12 is formed projecting downward in the middle of the lower surface of the insertion wall 48. A first side edge portion 56 a and a second side edge portion 56 b (referred to as “both side edge portions 56” when not distinguished from each other) of the insertion wall 48 shown in FIG. 5B enter the pair of rail grooves 25.
As shown in FIG. 5B, the first upper rib 68 a and the second upper rib 68 b are formed on the lower surface of the insertion wall 48 so as to protrude toward the base 46. The first upper rib 68a and the second upper rib 68b enter the rail groove 25 when the connector member 12 is connected, and can contact or be close to the upper surface of the rail bottom portion 28, thereby suppressing rattling of the connector member 12. . The first upper rib 68a and the second upper rib 68b are displaced in the longitudinal direction.
The elastic piece 52 is formed so as to rise from the insertion wall 48, functions as a resilient contact portion that resiliently contacts the connector member 12, and suppresses rattling of the connector member 12 when the connector member 12 is coupled. The elastic piece 52 extends rearward in the insertion direction from the middle of the upper surface of the insertion wall 48, and is inclined to face the opposing wall 62 that is a part of the insertion wall 48. The elastic piece 52 extends away from the opposing wall 62 toward the rear in the insertion direction. Since the elastic piece 52 extends from the front to the rear in the insertion direction, that is, in the direction opposite to the insertion direction, the elastic piece 52 can be prevented from warping when the insertion wall 48 is inserted into the rail groove 25.
As shown in FIG. 4B, tapered portions 54 are formed on both sides of the elastic piece 52 so as to spread in the width direction from the front to the rear in the insertion direction. The taper portion 54 can suppress insertion resistance when connecting the connector member 12. Since the elastic piece 52 rises rearward in the insertion direction, it can be suggested that it is difficult for the operator to enter the insertion port 24 from the elastic piece 52 side.
7B, the length L1 of the insertion wall 48 in the longitudinal direction is set to be smaller than the length L2 of the flange portion 44 in the longitudinal direction. Thereby, the insertion wall 48 can be made small and manufacturing cost can be suppressed.
The height H of the insertion wall 48 and the elastic piece 52 at the rear end 48b of the insertion wall 48 shown in FIG. 7B, that is, the height H from the lower end of the insertion wall 48 to the upper end of the elastic piece 52 is determined by the connector. It is larger than the height of the rail groove 25 of the member 12. The height of the rail groove 25 is the facing distance between the main body lower surface 30 and the rail bottom portion 28. As a result, when the insertion wall 48 is erroneously inserted into the insertion port 24 of the connector member 12 from the elastic piece 52 side, the rising elastic piece 52 hits the edge of the insertion port 24 and the erroneous insertion can be suppressed. Further, when the rear wall surface of the second upright portion 50b erroneously inserts the insertion wall 48 from the elastic piece 52 side into the insertion port 24, the rear wall surface abuts against the stopper 32 of the connector member 12 before the connection is completed, thereby restricting erroneous insertion. Functions as a limiting unit 58. Further, the step portion 60 also hits the locking portion 26a of the elastic locking portion 26 and restricts erroneous insertion when the insertion wall 48 is erroneously inserted into the insertion port 24 from the elastic piece 52 side.
FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view of the connector mounting structure 14 in a state where it is mounted in the mounting hole 16 a of the vehicle body panel 16. The insertion wall 48 of the fastener 10 is inserted into the insertion port 24 of the connector member 12 from the front end portion 48a. The insertion wall 48 is inserted between the pair of rail grooves 25, and both side edge portions 56 of the insertion wall 48 enter and slide into the pair of rail grooves 25, and the engaging portions 64 are engaged with the engaging portions of the elastic engaging portions 26. The connection is completed by locking 26a. When connected to the connector member 12, that is, in a connected state in which the locking portion 26 a is locked to the engaging portion 64, the raised elastic piece 52 elastically contacts the lower surface 30 of the main body. Both side edges of the elastic piece 52 and the opposing wall 62 enter into the pair of rail grooves 25, and make the elastic piece 52 elastically contact the lower surface 30 of the main body.
Since the connector member 12 is a relatively hard resin material, the connector member 12 may be rattled only by the locking of the elastic locking portion 26. Thus, by elastically contacting the elastic piece 52 with the main body lower surface 30 of the connector member 12, it is possible to suppress the rattling of the connector member 12 due to the vibration of the vehicle body panel 16 during vehicle travel.
FIG. 9 is a view for explaining the internal structure of the connecting portion of the connector mounting structure 14. FIG. 9 shows a cross section of the connector mounting structure 14 parallel to the insertion wall 48. Both side edges of the insertion wall 48 enter the pair of rail grooves 25 and abut against the rail side wall 34. Thereby, the backlash of the width direction of the connector member 12 can be suppressed.
As shown in FIG. 4A and FIG. 4B in addition to FIG. 9, only one of the engaging portions 64 is supported by the first standing portion 50a. Thereby, both sides of the engaging portion 64 are easily bent as compared with the case where the both sides of the engaging portion 64 are connected to the base portion 46 by the standing portion, and the insertion resistance when the locking portion 26a gets over the engaging portion 64 can be reduced.
FIG. 10 is a diagram for explaining the operation of the elastic piece 52. As shown in FIG. 10, the elastic piece 52 is positioned between the pair of rail grooves 25 when viewed in the longitudinal direction, is sandwiched between the pair of rail side walls 34, and elastically contacts the connector member 12. Further, as shown in FIG. 8, the elastic piece 52 is accommodated in the pair of rail grooves 25 when viewed from the side in a connected state. Thereby, the elastic piece 52 can be accommodated in the accommodation space of the attachment part 22 of the connector member 12, and compared with the loop part disclosed by patent document 1, it can reduce in size.
The width of the elastic piece 52 is equal to or larger than the facing interval W of the rail side wall portions 34 of the pair of facing rail grooves 25 or larger than the facing interval W. Thereby, the both ends of the elastic piece 52 contact | abut to a pair of rail side wall part 34, and the play of the width direction of the connector member 12 can be suppressed. Moreover, insertion resistance can be suppressed by the taper part 54 of the both ends of the elastic piece 52 shown to Fig.4 (a).
As shown in FIG. 10, the elastic piece 52 bends not only in the vertical direction but also in the width direction between the pair of rail grooves 25. Thereby, the elastic piece 52 can be strongly elastically contacted with the connector member 12, and the rattling of the connector member 12 can be suppressed further. FIG. 10 shows a state where the central portion of the elastic piece 52 is bent so as to swell, but there is also a state where the central portion of the elastic piece 52 is bent so as to be recessed.
