In the prior art chairs are known with a saddle-shaped seat. However, these usually have a center column on which the saddle-shaped seat is arranged, wherein the center column is arranged in the center of a foot star. Also, various such saddle seats are equipped with a backrest, which is usually mounted on a bracket which is fixed under the seat. However, such known saddle seats are not suitable to provide a user with a sufficient sense of relaxation. The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a chair with a saddle-shaped seat and a backrest, in which a balanced relaxed sitting is allowed.

The object is achieved by a chair having a saddle-shaped seat (saddle seat), and on which a cup-shaped backrest, on which a lordosis support with lateral back cheeks are formed, wherein the saddle seat is formed integrally with the backrest as a seat. The backrest may optionally consist of several assembled parts, wherein the seat shell is arranged on a provided with two curved runners leg-shaped frame. The V-shaped forwardly tapered pipe bend, the legs of which form the two curved skids, offers the advantage that during the rocking motion a laterally directed movement of the chair is avoided. The inverted V-shaped pipe bend with the tip directed upwards has the advantage that the oscillatory movements imparted to the pipe frame by rockers are damped in a relatively short time, so that a steady new impulse is required to cause a rocking motion. By setting a predetermined spring force can be prevented that superimpose during a rocking motion, the free-swinging movement and unwanted beats arise.

In an advantageous development of this chair, it is also possible to form the V-arrangements exactly in the opposite direction, d. Advantageously, it is provided to connect the two V-shaped pipe bends at their connection parts by means of arch parts with each other. It is particularly advantageous that the backrest of the seat shell is formed in view from the rear / front with a waist. The waist has the particular advantage that by their design of the backrest an additional elasticity is imparted, whereby the backrest can easily deform when occupying the chair and thus allows the back movements a certain mobility to the rocking movements.

The embodiment of a seat according to the invention shown in the figures will be described in detail below.

In Fig. 1, an inventive chair 1 is shown in a perspective view from the side behind. The chair 1 has a saddle-shaped seat 2, to which a cup-shaped backrest 3 is integrally formed. The saddle-shaped seat 2 and the molded-back 3 together form a seat 6. In the seat 6, a lumbar support 4 is formed. The backrest and the saddle seat are made in one piece in the illustrated embodiment, but they may also be manufactured individually and then joined together in a suitable manner, e.g. by gluing or welding.

The seat 6 is mounted on a provided with runners 7 leg-shaped frame 8. In an alternative embodiment, which is not shown, the frame may have a kinematically inverted shape in the seating direction. The backrest cheeks are formed substantially V-shaped. The frame of spatially bent tube is resilient and gives the chair both the characteristics of a cantilever chair as well as a rocking chair. On the saddle seat and in the seat recess in the transition to the backrest to the apex of the lordosis support a cushion layer 24 is arranged. On the bottom contact surface of the skids 7 a skid pad 25 is arranged.
