Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé de forage rotary orientable, comprenant les étapes consistant à : calculer une première pluralité de plans de convergence si une position estimée d'un trépan n'est pas dans les limites d'une marge d'erreur définie d'un point souhaité le long d'un trajet planifié pour un trou de forage ; calculer une seconde pluralité de plans de convergence si la position estimée du trépan n'est pas dans les limites de la marge d'erreur ; sélectionner un plan de convergence qui satisfait au mieux à un ensemble de paramètres cibles parmi la première et de la seconde pluralité de plans de convergence ; produire un ensemble de paramètres de commande représentant le plan de convergence sélectionné ; transmettre une ou plusieurs commandes à un ou plusieurs composant(s) d'orientation en rotation pour actionner ledit/lesdits composant(s) d'orientation en rotation, afin de modifier le trajet planifié pour le trou de forage conformément à l'ensemble de paramètres de commande ; et forer moins une partie du trou de forage sur la base de l'ensemble de paramètres de commande.
