Definitions

  • This invention relates to an indoor BBQ griller and, more particularly, to such an indoor BBQ griller with a plurality of upward pointing V-shaped first members, with said first members each having sloped sides for grease drains, and upward pointing V-shaped second members placed on top of said first members, allowing heat to travel upward in between the first and second members for direct contact with food.
  • This invention relates to an indoor BBQ griller with a plurality of upward pointing V- shaped first and second members comprising the bottom and top of the said griller, respectively, with openings on the said first members and downward and outward sloped grease drains.
  • An object of this invention is to allow food that is placed on the indoor BBQ griller to be in direct contact with heat in order to simulate a true BBQ taste and experience.
  • Such direct contact occurs when heat travels upward from a heat source through the openings of the first members. Such heat flow is clearly depicted in FIG. 9 of the drawing.
  • Another object of this invention is to provide an indoor BBQ griller that provides a coated, heat-resistant oil drainage path that prevents oil-related fire hazards, such as oil splatters or oil falling on a heat source.
  • Food is placed at the tips of the second members, which are depicted in FIG.10 of the drawing. Oil or grease from food will flow downward on the sloped sides of the first members. Oil or grease will then fall on the crevices between the first members and flow outward to the oil depositories located at the edges of the griller. This downward and outward flow of oil and grease is depicted in FIG. 11.
  • the external surfaces of the first members, the crevices between the first members and the oil depositories - collectively constituting the oil drainage path - will each have a heat-resistant coating and/or be comprised of heat-resistant material. Such coatings are depicted by the shaded areas in FIG. 8 and FIG. 9.
  • a further object of this invention is to drastically minimize the amount of smoke produced from grilling by having oil or grease travel through the above-mentioned heat- resistant oil drainage path.

Abstract

Gril BBQ d'intérieur construite pour inclure une pluralité de premiers éléments en forme de V pointant vers le haut, les points les plus bas des premiers éléments formant une base de gril pour un but de montage, la base de gril ayant les parois de bord extérieur faisant saillie vers le haut avec une poignée s'étendant depuis une paroi extérieure, lesdits premiers éléments ayant chacun des côtés inclinés sur lesquels l'huile ou la graisse s'écoulera vers le bas et vers l'extérieur à travers un chemin revêtu et résistant à la chaleur jusqu'à des réceptacles à huile situés au niveau des parois extérieures, lesdits premiers éléments contenant également chacun des ouvertures au niveau de leurs côtés inclinés, lesdits premiers éléments ayant en outre des ouvertures au niveau de leurs sommets sur lesquels seront placés des seconds éléments en forme de V pointant vers le haut, et les seconds éléments constituant une surface sur laquelle peut être placée de la nourriture.
